Terrible service food was cold. Awful experience. Would not go back! Management was completely lacking in customer service. Just too busy visiting behind the bar to worry about quality food and service!

We stopped in here for a drink, while visiting from Vancouver, WA. I have to say, I love the old school feel of the bar, and the bartender was very nice, and knowledgable about his selection. I would come back :)

It was just Ok, I ordered the prime rib m-​rare it was very chewy, service was so so, wife ordered soup and it was very salty. Veggies and baked potato was good. Don’t use your debt card or credit card there they tried to way over charge my card.

Can you go less than a star? Went in with my family after a day at Yellowstone. We decided just to share some appetizers and my mom got the salad bar. After About 45 minutes and no food, the baby was getting fussy and near bye customers were staring and obviously bothered. We asked to cancel the order since it was taking too long and for the check to pay for the sodas and salad bar. As we were getting our money sorted we suddenly hear a lady screaming at us! The OWNER came out and yelled at us that we had 12 people and how dare we leave because of course 12 orders will take 45 min! She threatened to call the cops unless we waited for our food! First off, no food order should «naturally» run 45 min. Secondly, she obviously had lost our food ticket or she would have known we were in fact a party of 7 (and baby) and we only ordered 2 orders of wings, a chicken salad, some fries, and a quesadilla. After We told her she was crazy to think we’d really stay after being screamed at, we all got up and headed for the door as she then proceeded to call the cops! What she told them I’ll never know! My dad had thrown down $ 30 on the table for the waitress which was way more than the salad bar and few sodas cost! The other food was never seen by us! As we drove by shortly after on our way out of town, sure enough, saw a cop parked out front of the restaurant! Way to waste taxpayers dollars on top of making a spectacle of your establishment!!!

I visit Bullwinkles often with my clients with my tour company. Myself and my guests have always been happy with the food and service. This is a Very Very busy restaurant in a tourist town next to Yellowstone so they obviously can not be perfect all the time. It is very difficult to find staff to work all the available jobs here. But I feel like they do the best they can. The service and food has always been great for myself and my guests.

The food is great and the portions are huge. We are traveling through and I would definitely eat here again.

We were greeted at the door with a smile, took a couple minutes to get a table but we were not disappointed. Service was great, Doug got us going with a laugh and the evening got better from there. Ruth loved their wild duck and I always find their beef just right. We come to Bullwinkle’s every time we are at Yellowstone and plan to continue the tradition.

We could not find anywhere to accommodate our family of 6. Bullwinkles was very full because they had the World Cup game on the TV’s but they told us to wait 10 mins and they seated us in 5.
Ice cold water and warm bread came to our table right away. Our waitress, Stephanie was nice and friendly. There was a good kids menu. My older boys ordered a rack of ribs to split and my husband and I split the special. The waitress said the ribs were great. She was right. The sauce was a good balance of tangy and spicy. The kids Mac and cheese was huge and yummy. We would come back.

Slow service but really good food. So if you are not in a rush, I highly recommend this restaurant. The Prime Rib melt in my mouth and the gentlemen liked their buffalo burger. Also their menu is seasonal.

Food was okay, service was lacking. Not impressed. Every table is packed in so tight you can’t even get to the salad bar without asking people to scoot in.

Horrible place to go. If you don’t want to serve ASIAN people, just post it outside, I will never go inside.
I went there about 2:40 yesterday and ask for dinner menu, they told me they can’t make it till 4:30. Ok, so I called today to see if I can have some dinner for Togo, the lady in the phone told me I can order it.
That’s a pretty cool experiences. We stand there for 5 mins, the lady was kind nice, but the guy :(After that guy said we can’t make dinner till 4:30, he’s like run away, and never look at us again.
Never go there again :)

This is a great little bar in West Yellowstone! We’re staying in Yellowstone Park… But needed a little side trip into West Yellowstone. We came here because we LOVE MOOSE and there wasn’t a moose anywhere, we could have cried!! goodness the Ahi Tuna Tacos were to die for and the Salmon dip & crackers was delicious also !

Low profile Casino and Bar.
I love no smoking and a bar with no gambling machines.
The bar food is excellent and large servings at a reasonable price.
I love smoked Salmon and it was excellent.
One of my other favorites is hummus and it was as good as I’ve had anywhere.

Came in for a late lunch. Place was pretty quiet. Restaurant was clean. Servers were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the huckleberry chicken salad. Good portion, great dressing. Hubby had the Reuben and said that it came out hot, and the fries were great. He was also happy that he was able to get a draft beer. (Only two choices, though — had many more options in bottles.) My son had the angus burger, and it was cooked properly, and he enjoyed it. Also started with the salmon spread, which was tasty, but the portion seemed small — until we started eating it — there was more there than it looked like!
Keep in mind that if you come in to West Yellowstone to eat, food prices are a bit higher, as this is a small city that is literally in the middle of nowhere!

This review is about the liquor store.
The selection was good; the prices were fair. The man behind the counter was gruff and made me feel like I was unwelcome. I would not return unless I had to.

We were a party of 6 and it took 30 minutes to get seated which is okay if the meal and service is really good but neither was the case here. We heard the manager saying to someone that a server had called off for the second day which pushed things back and the service suffered greatly. We waited long times between seeing our server and when we finally did get our food it was average at best. The salad bar (if you can call it that) was severely affected by the stifling heat inside the restaurant which was truly unacceptable. If it wasn’t for the ceiling fan above our table I would have left after my drink arrived 15 minutes after I sat down.
The poor experience of this place is not worth the money, time, or effort involved… Best to look elsewhere.
