Dunkin’ Donuts

If you are traveling along Route 1 and you are in the mood for coffee do yourself a favor and drive right on by this location. The problem is that the coffee is watered down. WATERED DOWN I SAY!
I have thought this for weeks and confirmed my suspicion with my neighbors. It is a real shame for me because this location is within walking distance from my house. Yesterday I did a little experiment. I bought a large black coffee from this place and brought it home. I opened the lid and looked down into the coffee. I could see halfway down the inside of the Styrofoam cup!
As far as the donuts go or the competency of the staff, I have never been overly impressed. They get the job done in an unimpressive fashion.
The bottom line is that I buy Dunkin donuts at the store and brew it at home and at home it tastes like coffee. At this location it tastes like coffee favored water. Skip it.

One of the many Dunkin Donuts located conveniently on Rt 1 in this area. It seems like you can’t go for more than a mile without running into one along the shoreline. This particular store is one of the better ones since it has such high volume the coffee and donuts are always fresh and surprisingly it never seems to run out of anything unless you go at some ungodly hour. Another surprising but very good thing is that the bathrooms always seem to be in pretty decent shape. Considering the amount of people going through this place the staff must pay some serious attention to them.
It does tend to get quite crowded in the summer because of the beach traffic and the parking area isn’t exceptionally large but the staff seems quite efficient and conscientious at what they do. It’s just a donut place but it is a convenient place to stop for coffee and perhaps personal business when going through this area
