Subway

We came to this particular Subway to eat multiple times for years. There are some good days & some bad days. Most of the time the staff here were polite but there were times when the staff were somewhat rude. The food quality isn’t any different than other Subway location. This place is located inside Walmart. Plenty of tables here for you to eat.

JanuANY is actually JanuPromotionExpiredYesterday. But it’s still January. Not in here it ain’t!

This is by far the worst fast food restaurant out there. The food is old, flavorless and it is mind blowing how anyone goes to a place like this when an average neighborhood deli is infinitely better.

First review ever so I might as well start off by reviewing of one my faves… Subway’s! Been a big fan for years and was very happy to see that near by my job, plenty of Subway’s existed. Plus, I’ve more or less turned into a health nut :) This particular one is located inside the Nathan’s restaurant and is the closest to my job which saves me quite a bit of time. It’s very clean, and despite the frantic pace (remember it’s inside a Nathan’s which means other restaurants exist, and an arcade is inside) the staff is very accurate with the orders. All the food is fresh, and the surrounding area is clean. You expect this from most Subway’s but there was one aspect that separated this one from all the others (6 or so locations exist outside my job)…
The customer service is beyond AMAZING… Not only are they ALWAYS courteous despite the pace, but they are very personal with you. For me having worked retail before my professional job, this is of ultra importance. Little details that not only build on future relationships, but also starts word of mouth. Case in point, I forgot my Subway’s points card last time I was there. They offered to give me a new card reflecting my points for this purchase, and then combine that card with my old one once I found it so that I wouldn’t have to start over again. This was pivital to me for two reasons…
1. I had no idea cards could be combined (and trust me I’ve lost my card many times… Remember I’m a met fan…)
2. This idea was NEVER ever suggested in all the other years and other Subway’s I went to. I came in yesterday, and sure enough, both cards were combined, and my points were saved. They went above and beyond for me and good food aside, that leaves a «good taste» in my mouth…
Ok, ok, I promise not to do the corny food joke references too much. I’m still a rookie here ;)
They also have a «Hall of Fame» where they display receipts from big point users which gives people another reason to use the points program as well. It’s also a shout out to customers which I think is a GREAT touch.
Cross promotion and customer praise? That’s great business sense right there…
So why only 4 stars? The noise… Because of the fact that it’s in a busy location, you sadly can’t enjoy your meal completely (my lunch is at the peak of lunch business there) so I have to take it down a notch. Aside from that minor hiccup This location is one I would truly recommend to you all.

You can eat right in Walmart at Subway! There’s an area with lots of booths and tables (which are typically dirty) for your seating pleasure. Roll your shopping cart right in and park it by your table. Here you can forego the «meal» option and buy a bag of chips and drink in Walmart, then bring it in with your sandwich!
Today’s sandwich was the same as I always get though they didn’t put enough vinegar on it. :/
