I love this store. The staff is very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. They «saved my life» more than once, when my skin was a mess and I needed a quick fix before work. They were always happy to give me a touch-​up for free and recommend wonderful products that were perfect for my needs. When putting makeup on me, they bring out my natural beauty instead of changing how I look. I appreciate that. Thank you ladies for being so sweet and attentive to me!
A note a few months later: Their Laura Mercier representative, Diane, is so knowledgeable and sweet. She introduced me to a rose-​infused oil that has really helped to calm my redness. It’s the only product that’s *worked* to reduce the redness that plauged my face. To the reader: don’t be afraid to tell the professionals about your skin problems; they will help you!

This store is for the ladies. Expensive creams, makeups and other girl products. They had a door in the back that said «SPA» but didn’t see any info on that.

I love the product lines that they sell. The store is kept clean, and items are well displayed. The staff is ok. They are either too enthusiastic (only happened once) or nowhere to be found (you would thing they are doing you a BIG favor just by talking to you). They also don’t have as many things for testing products as sephora.

Natasha is great for waxing. She really listens to what you want and makes sure that the wax is the right temperature.
The sales people are helpful without being pushy. I never feel like I’m being «sold» here. Products tend to be higher end, often smaller brands that you don’t find everywhere. The store is light and airy. The displays make things easy to find and the salespeople don’t mind letting you play.

Early this year they opened one in Manhattan on the UWS. This store carries high end cosmetics, skin care and haircare products. The store also provides spa services. The first time I went here I met a very nice salesperson named Samantha, she was very helpful and knows her stuff. This is a smaller shop than sephora but nicer!

Smack-​dab in the center of Westfield sits Blue Mercury– a lovely stop for your high-​end cosmetic and fragrance indulgences. Be warned, though, this ain’t your neighborhood drugstore, and the prices are nowhere near that range!
The shop itself is lovely– very clean design and warm tones and lighting. They once even had some gorgeous and delicious strawberries and chocolate for customers– yum!
They carry my favorite hard-to-find-but-can’t-live-without-it product, Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion, totally worth the $ 17 pricetag. Other brands are the ones you always see in the beauty mags: Molton Brown, Paula Dorf, Diptyque ($ 30 candles– eek!), Bumble & Bumble, etc.
