Cute clothes that are a touch more unique than what you might find in a mall. Prices are low to moderate, but I found out the hard way that you get what you pay for here. I purchased a kimono-type top, among other things, and put it on to wear to dinner one night. I was in it less than an hour when my family pointed out a huge tear in the shoulder. I took it off embarrassed, and planned to return it at their urging. By the time I was able to make it back to Westfield, it was 8 days after the original purchase. The salesperson told me that she was not allowed to issue a refund. I tried to explain that I would have kept the top if it hadn’t torn so easily, and that I didn’t necessarily want another of such poor quality. The only reason I wanted a refund was because the item was damaged. She seemed unsure, and after a call to her manager it was decided that I could have store credit. I am not in the habit of arguing with salespeople, so I accepted and left rather annoyed. I don’t think I will be back to this store, except maybe to spend the store credit. I’ve shopped here many times before and have never had an experience like this, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. In general, I do not have a problem with the return policy, but with the level of customer service. A more polite demeanor and an apology could have gone a long way in this situation. On principle, I don’t spend money anywhere when I don’t feel valued as a customer. After this, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending this store to anyone.
