The food is here is decent. However, the customer service is not even there at all. I understand that it’s in the Little Saigon area and sometimes service is a little slow but at this place it was horrendous. I came with my mother here and right when we walked in we didn’t know whether to just take a seat at an empty table or waited for someone to seat us. It took a while but finally someone asked us how many people in our party and seated us at a table. The table had not even been completely cleaned at all. There were leftover drinks from a previous party. They seated us with no menus so we sat there for a while waiting to figure out what to order. After we did get the menus, we ordered and the food came out fast at least. However, they forgot the bean sprouts and veggies to go with our phở. We then received it a couple minutes after getting our food. It is true that the noodles stick together but that’s not really a problem since I can separate it with my chopsticks. Also the hoisin and sriracha is watered down. What really irked me the most was the fact that we ordered drinks and we were waiting on that the whole time. It was just a water and hot tea so I didn’t understand why it would take so long for it to come out. The restaurant was not even busy. We even reminded the worker that took our order that we still didn’t get our drinks midway our meal. We finally received the drinks after we finished our meal and had already paid. I would not eat here again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Been here twice on vacation First time, it was fine. Today, i went with a small group for lunch. The waiter was rude. When 1 person went to the restrooms, the waiter placed down the menu/placemats and immediately asked for our order(the restaurant wasn’t busy) despite seeing the table missing a person Not to mention, the other staff was slow with bringing out the con

Stopped by here after going to Nudo Nudo and realizing that it was cash only, and I’m pretty glad we did. Phoholic was obviously more popular because we had to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated. The broth was good and they give you a lot of meat because I couldn’t finish it. I didn’t like how they toss in the noodles though because it was just a block and I had to seperate the noodles. Service was pretty decent for a phở restaurant but we sat in a very cold area on a cold night and the lighting was weird at our table. Overall pretty hip phở restaurant since they play good music, accept card, and give stamp cards, FORPHO, so strange. Would return but maybe when it’s not crowded because parking is super super shitty.

Nudo Nudo get ready to shut down! PhoHolic is one of those places that serves the people straight forward scrumptious phở. They do not need any Ox Tail fries or any other trendy food items to get people into their establishment. The last two time I visited Phoholic I ordered Dac Biet phở, large and Xi Quach. The bowl of phở hits all the high notes of what phở should be. I love Xi Quach because I love gnawing on large beef bones that have bits of yummy meat still stuck on them. Its hard to do Xi Quach at home because the bones of a cow is so large. There is so much YASSSS in these to items that its really hard to describe in words. I highly advise you, the reader, just go and try it. FYI: their parking lot is hella small and tight so if it is busy and you see people waiting while you are driving by, just park at the plaza across the street and walk over. Don’t waste gas waiting for someone to leave, just park and get your name on that list.

SERVICE. It’s Bolsa… LOL not bad though! They’re not the most spot on with big orders, but it’s okay. Our server told us we get a free bowl after our 10th, but I believe the punch card just said we get upgrades. I need to clarify on that next time? FOOD. PHOTAIDUOIBO was delicious! Definitely liking the meats here, and their soup is good and rich in flavor. I would have wished their banh phở noodles were cooked a little better. I hesitated to put my greens in because I didn’t want it to take away from the heat that I left to cook my noodles longer, so they wouldn’t stay clumped. EGGS. I ordered two eggs in broth on the side(yum!) DUOIBO on the side was nice to just pick at while eating phở. It’s if you’re into the tendons and marrow… typically«do nhau.» Definitely worth it, and it is shareable. ETC. Kinda weird how their bathrooms are outside facing the street. My cousin told me the men’s urinal is facing the door – so make sure you lock it good! Also, there was a homeless woman who shamelessly walked around the store asking for money to buy food. Overall I liked the phở here!

Their broth is really good. I came here twice so far. My first time is for to-go and my second time is dining– in with my friends. All of us agreed that their phở tastes perfectly good and very authentic. However, their noodles might be cooked and left outside for too long so the noodle sticks together and I have to sewerage them LOL. It’s the same problem for the to-go order and dine-in. I tried the oxtail beef and Filet mignon beef noodle soup. I tried oxtail at the other Phở place, but the oxtail here is better and has less fat. The half-cookies Filet mignon beef is so soft and yummy. I also bought ca phe sua da. It Tastes as good as I expected :) so will comeback next time :)

Came here for a late lunch after a long day of driving from SF. When they Took us to the table, didnt give us the menu right away… had to wait for it even though it wasn’t too busy. When you look at menu, they don’t have the biggest selection of food compare to phở restaurant. Only thing they have were mostly Phở but with different meat. Gave us the vegetable before we even order. Small size is $ 7 while Large size $ 8. Its for all the phở. The sizes of the bowls between the small and large aren’t much of a differences when we ask the waiter how big the large bowl was. My parents and i Got the large bowl of ‘Phở dac biet’ since it’s more like a medium size or a little smaller than medium. When you see the small bowl, it’s really really small. It’s like its for kids. Anyways, our phở came out quick. Maybe within 10 minutes after we order. They gave decent amount of meat and so-so amount of noodle. The broth was average/decent. It did satisfy my phở craving.

Terrible parking, can get pretty crowded and it’s loud. I’ve been here a few times and I don’t think I’ll be back after my last experience. My co worker had to send her bowl back because it wasn’t hot enough. What’s up with the sauce? I wouldn’t even use it because you can tell that it’s watered down and looks kinda dirty… I got a large bowl of phở, fat noodle with steak on the side. The portion was good but the broth was too salty and the meat was really chewy.

I came here once when it was Phở Kimmy and now PhoHolic. The inside had a little modern upgrades. I had the phở tai sach bo vien, it was meh. The broth lack flavors and the meat portion was cheap. Meat is in small pieces but very chewy. Service was poor and parking is hard to come by.

The food was great but the service sucks balls… The one who cleans up the table is just listening to music and dont even bother to speed up. The short guy with earring just doesnt even care. But point for the guy with glasses. Hes quick 5 stars for food, negative 3 for serivce.

Great Phở, taste is very good. Service is very fast. No waiting so long. Flat price 7 or 8 dollars is good with no charge for Onion, fresh veggies… I will eat there again.

Surprisingly good ! Broth is different than most places… But in a good way. it’s actually more like beef stock to me… very rich in flavor so I think they don’t use any added flavor. Decoration is contemporary and the owner do a good job decorating outside and inside with lanterns, string lights and Christmas tree. Customer service is an ok, but can improve a little better. Etc The young counter guy charge me only 1 bowl for $ 7 while I order 2 bowl. Feel almost too guilty to run away with $ 7 spare so I let him know instead. :) Overall I actually enjoy the food, ambience, and decoration here. Give it a try, it might be your favorite phở place.

Hmm… I would of given this place a two star but that’s giving them too much credit. First off I would like to say the phở taste great! Broth was flavourful! That’s the ONLY good thing about this place… I would eat here again but just for to-go only. Here comes the bad part. 1. Crappy customer service 2. The place didn’t feel clean at all. yeah they changed a few things like tables and light fixtures from how it use to be when it was phở Kimmy. But still dirty as hell. Chopstick felt oily and so were the spoons! 3. Veggies wasn’t fresh. Wonder how many they reused lol 4. I’m sorry but oxtails are suppose to be cooked till the meat gets so soft that it falls off the bone. Here. it felt like I was eating pigs feet. All hard and chewy. Won’t ever get that again. 5. They add water to the saratcha and hoison sauce… don’t know why because the bottles are only 2 bucks at the store… pretty gross… so watery. Bring your own sauces next time! 6. Water, ice tea and green thai tea… is all they offer here. Nothing else. Of course the day I went they ran out of green thai tea so I was stuck with water. 7. Parking sucks Yeah that’s pretty much it.

I real enjoy their phở, but I want to call attention to the fact that not only do they reuse their hoisin sauce bottles, they water down the product before refilling. Cheap and unsanitary… And just plain gross. We brought a bottle from home and I’ve included a couple of pics for comparison. Hopefully the owner changes their way.

Phoholic, so far you’ve impressed me… The menu is so easy to read, thank you! No frills here. $ 7small/$ 8 large bowl flat. The variety of meats are typical of any phở establishment, but meats are so tender. No beefy smell, if you know what I mean. The soup comes out piping hot and remains hot even as I’m finishing the bowl. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and this restaurant fulfills my inner OCD-ness. Herbs are super clean, water served in disposable cups, and overall restaurant looks modern and clean. Now onto testing out their consistency.

i was so excited to come here since it was grand opening phở restaurant. This place used to be a phở restaurant too. not sure if they just remodel it or just change new owner. This place look like a hole in a wall restaurant from the outside, but once i got in there the place looks so difference. its more modern from the inside and cleaner. ok so let’s talk about the food. I have order phở bo on the menu. Two min later the guy came out and told me they ran out of the beef that came with the phở, so i end up ordering phở tai bap. when the food came out i add all my veggie in there and start eating. when i get to the meat part i was not that excited. it was chewy and hard to swallow even though its in small pieces. But overall the soup base is great. I can’t really taste too much msg so that is another great thing and yes i would come back again to try the soup with egg and the phở that i have order but ran out. fyi: parking is really small and the restaurant is located near resisdent home.

This place is decorated much better than before. I think they’re going for a more modern feel. I liked the fact that they had ox tail & xi quach. BOTHSOGOOD! My new obsession is soup with 2 eggs. Ask them to cook it a bit more bc the eggs were really rare. I don’t really like phở in general, so I usually get the soup with eggs. Overall, this place is good

This is the restaurant that opened where Phở Kimmy used to be. To be honest, I really liked Phở Kimmy so I already was expecting not to like Phoholic even before getting there although as it turns out, I’m glad I went because: –the wait wasn’t awful for a holiday. I came before the hangover/lunch rush crowd(which in my opinion, shows up everywhere at 12:30) so the wait wasn’t bad for a popular phở place – about 15 minutes or so –the phở itself is decently priced at $ 7/bowl for a small and $ 8/large –the phở was pretty good – I would give it a high 7/low 8 out of 10. The broth was flavorful although the phở noodles were clumped together as expected from any busy phở place. I had ordered the phở tai gan and unfortunately my gan was way too chewy hence why I’m docking 1 star I would come back even though the tiny sauce bowls stacked next to the spoons were dirty as I don’t use the tiny sauce bowls. I would have appreciated a cleaner environment though as it makes me concerned about how well everything is being washed in the back.

A new phở joint where phở Kimmy used to be. This place is known for their Ox Tail phở as I saw a lot of people ordering it. I recommend ordering it. The Dac Biet(combination) is solid too. Ordering is simple as they have menus in clear English. PROS: –Cheap prices –Simple menu and fixed prices. $ 7 for a small(ALL types of phở). $ 8 for a large(again, ALL types of phở) –Phở is solid. The dac biet(combination) is solid and ox tail is also solid(although a tad fatty, but still great given the price). –Free sides, such as onions in vinegar, bean-sprout, and white onion. Usually phở places charge for this. –English menu’s. Friendly for those who don’t speak Vietnamese. CONS: –Bathrooms are kind of eh, but otherwise no real cons. TIPS –Located in a small«house» next to Baskin Robbins /middle school. Parking sucks.
