Stopped in here to today. The food was great and the Service was awesome. If you come here ask for Cole he will take wonderful care of you. He is a great server!

Every time I come here I have such wonderful food, beer and service. I truly love their own beers. Tonight I had the Cuban Cristo. Damn it was delicious. The friendly service always is a delight. I also had their Ziggy Hopdust… Great dedication if you ask me.

The food was average, mashed potatoes were delightful. The service sucked, the beers left something to be desired for. Our waiter didn’t check on our food once, he didn’t bring our beers until we were done eating. If he had been super busy I would have understood but he emerged for the kitchen with mouthfuls of food and relaxed several time. Definitely left a lot to be desired.

Rock Bottom always has great service and great beer. I really enjoy their soups and the ambiance of the restaurant itself. The 4 stars is solely because the wait is always excessive. I guess this is a sign of a good restaurant though. Not sure what’s going on with this location, but all the surrounding businesses seem to be shutting down.

Good place to grab lunch with a large group in the area. We went here for lunch and there were plenty of open tables. As with my previous visits to other Rock Bottom Restaurants I wish the menu had more diversity. It’s alright but nothing special that would make me want to go out of my way to return again. The food came out pretty fast and I have no complaints with the service itself.

Great beer and good food, what more do you need? Oh yea the rewards are off the chart. Pints, food, pairings, visits… points everywhere!

Alright so, originally I would have rated this 3 stars but our server was pretty great and she turned the night around for me so I gave it one more than originally. So, one thing about me: once I’ve set my heart on something, I get irritated when it’s out. It seems like they have a total of 5 beers that they brew and the one I decided on, they were out of Nothing else sounded good and I was hungry and thus I became a grumpy old woman. I was clearly irritated and I decided I didn’t like this place and wondered why I made us all come here. BUT, that being said, I really wanted a beer. So I looked over the beer menu roughly 700 more times and finally asked to taste one of the others. I tried the sample and I didn’t like it, so I was just going to call it. Our server said she didn’t mind bringing me another one so I asked for a sample of something else. Our server came back with 3 different samples for me to try. It changed my mood instantly. I was grumpy and irritated and she could have just chosen to just ignore me and go on with her night but the fact that she went above and beyond made me realize how obnoxious I was being. One of the samples she brought I really liked. Problem solved. I’m ridiculous. I ordered the bacon Mac and cheese and it was fantastic. Perfect flavor, big portion. It was great! Overall it was a good experience and I’d recommend to try it out

Sorry last review was meant for Bar Louie. I have been to Rock Bottom a handful times. Great beer selection and solid food options.

Great location, Classic Rock can be heard over the loud murmur of the Saturday Night Crowd. The beer is fresh and the Session IPA caught my eye and is now quenching my thirst with a hoppy citrus flavor that tickles my taste buds. Going to try a cup of the chicken tortilla soup with an extra dash of cheddar cheese if you please! Bartenders are busy, friendly and attentive to you needs. Plenty of TV’s strategically placed throughout the Bar. No UFC tonight but just about everything else. Cheers!

Worst meal ever… ordered fish & chips… no tarter sauce… no cocktail sauce… I disliked whatever the sauce was that it was served with… fish over cooked fries cold. The server made no effort to rectify sauce situation(offer a different meal?). Oh and the cole slaw was polluted with large pieces of raw onions. Oh and for the kids meal… stuck together Kraft Mac & Cheese… seriously? You could see the indentation of the side of the pan! With fermented«fresh fruit». RB makes a really nice macaroni & cheese which is what I assumed was served for the kids meal… And the manager never even came to our table… not when I told the server I could not eat the meal and not when I asked her to take it off the check…

This used to be my ‘go to’ place because the beer was good and the food was above average. Well not anymore. I just had one of the most awful experiences ever in a place that I have literally spent thousands of dollars in; so sad. When a place you loved turns into a giant flaming turd, you take it upon yourself to write a review. If it had just stayed the same… I’ve put up with a lot from Rock Bottom: always running out of the good beer(make double dummies), flopping an entire tray of food on my wife and only offering $ 20 comp, constantly disregarding my party depending on size, etc. They used to have a decent happy hour menu: $ 5 for 4 wings, $ 3 pints. Not anymore. No more wings and the pints are $ 4??? So I ordered pretzel pites and I got four burnt pizza crusts. I would have ordered something else but my server had gotten off her shift and decided not to tell me. It would have been nice if the girl replacing her had told me, instead I GOTIGNOREDFORTHIRTYMINUTES. There is a distinct ‘locals only’ thing that goes on at the bar there. I have tried to be open and friendly but they just don’t take to us younger people, I’m 40 btw. So I can’t say it’s fun to hang with a bunch of unfriendly people who think they have their own click. It’s a bar. Well the truth is: It’s a corporate run crap-fest that just keeps getting worse and worse. They can’t even make the basics on their menu anymore without having to send it back(multiple times). So why go? The beer? I just watched one of their employees stick his entire arm into a fermentation vessel. His previously covered in sanitation liquid gloves, Neal? No! His hairy arm right into the vessel coming out covered in foam. Now I’m only a lowly home brewer but I can’t think of anytime during the entire process of making beer(cleaning, sanitizing, brewing, bottling/kegging) that you would stick your hairy arm into anything, even the foam that may build up(surely not the krausen, right? that’s horrible!) So yeah… if you want arm-hair beer and a staff that ignores you if you’re not part of the aged 50+ regulars that hang at the bar, this is the place for you!

Tonight a group of co-workers and I decided to go to Rock Bottom to share some appetizers and we were not dissapointed. Since there were a few of us we were able to get a sampling of many different apps and each one was delish. The salmon bites were amazing and the nachos were the size of 2 pizzas and tasty btw. We had the southwestern eggrolls(had a bit of spice which I loved) and even the artichoke dip with crab. All of these items were perfect for a group but the real show stopper was the brownie… I mean it wasn’t just a brownie. It was a flavorful explosion in our mouths and it was totally enough to share(if that is what you want to do). One last thing… This is a 5 start rating not just for the food but for the service. Our server, Tara, treated us like the only table she had from the moment we walked in. We had some high maintenance requests since we all needed separate bills but she didn’t make a big deal about it and got everything correct on the first try. Good food, great service and the prices were decent. Yes, Please!

Came here for a recent occasion and had a pretty good time with awesome people and we experienced good service. The beer selection was great. The nachos are huge! The rest of my food was meh, but unlike half of my table, I didn’t order the Mac n cheese, which is apparently very good here. Come by if you are planning a get together, it’s a large place good for groups.

Quite simply… it’s Chili’s. No… it’s more like Applebees. All of these chains are the same! Frozen, processed food cranked out on an assembly line. The food was quite disgusting and my wife and I vowed never to return. We ordered an app that was supposed to resemble Pretzels with a dipping sauce. The pretzels were nothing more than under-cooked, gummy bread sticks and the sauce was a congealed pile of brown mush with some green things sticking out of it. It was NOT good. Beyond that… our entrée’s were less than appealing also. I had a club, which was more like a Cubano and slathered in butter. All I tasted in fact was butter. I couldn’t finish it. Needless to say… we won’t be going back. Which is sad in fact, because we don’t have much to choose from where we live. Surrounded by chains and they are all the same!

I have been here before and the food has been delicious but not this time. I ordered the club and the bread was soggy and the fries were cold. Usually the food is really good. On a positive note, the beer was good as usual.

I usually like rock bottom. However when I was there with my family last night I was sorely disappointed. Our salad came without a key ingredient — avocado. The service was incredibly slow. But the kicker was my sons kid’s meal. He ordered mac & cheese which I don’t expect to be a culinary masterpiece. However when it came out it was obviously cooked hours ago reheated and thrown into his bowl. When you’re paying five dollars for Mac and cheese I at least expect it to be freshly made. C’mon Rock Bottom. Don’t live up to your name.

I have a lot of fond memories at this place. This is where I first fell in love with a milk stout, my big transition from the lighter beers(i.e., Corona, Heineken, Hefeweizen’s, etc) to the wider array of beer offerings out there that have become a wonderful part of my consumable life. If I was on Unilocal years beforehand I most likely would have given this place five stars, but I think that the quality has gone slightly down since I started going there not long after I turned 21(which was about 10 years ago). It’s not to say that their food is not tasty. I actually have not found anything that I didn’t like. There are some things that I wish were back on the menu(or even simply on the menu), but I enjoy their seasonal offerings as it gives it a freshness that I believes helps the business stay fresh. And what is super fun is that for the kids meal, there’s an opportunity for kids to make their own pizza. It is interactive and way fun for the kid. I hope you have a child that is responsible enough to take on the task without creating any disasters for the crew, so make good judgments people. ;-) Lastly(but by far not the least), their beer is really delicious. They have a decent selection for a good range of different beer palates. I enjoy getting a flight taster of all their beers, and even if their cask conditioned beer is not on the flight, you can easily get a small taster so that you can experience all that their is to offer. One last tidbit: there is a rewards program which is pretty cool if you are into that kind of thing(and if you visit enough), but if you aren’t like that but do enjoy to go there from time to time, consider signing up for their newsletter. They have special events usually during the Happy Hour time on select Tuesdays or Wednesdays regarding new beers being tapped, and sometimes free tastings. Totally worth it if that is your thing. If I could select four and a half stars, I would. I hope your visit(or visits) are just as good if not better than mine… and if so, you should be in for a good time.

On of my favorite places to go before or after the movies. My husband loves the beer selection and I love the food. However, one of my long time favorite pasta dishes was taken off the menu and it broke my heart, but I have enjoyed some of the additions to the menu in its place. I love their friendly service and I even enjoy the menu. My daughter enjoys making her own pizza too on the kid mend. And while I don’t always enjoy the heavy dinner dishes I do like their light options like their Salmon dish with a sweet smoked glaze. Great date night spot for drinks and dinner, then later a movie at AMC Promenade.

Rock Bottom is located in the new(ish) complex of Westminster. It’s located close to many shopping stores, bowling alleys, movie theaters, etc. The family and I went here for a late lunch and the place was still crowded around 1:30 /2:00. I guess it is a good place to hang out to get local brew. the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the fish and chips, which was two nice sized pieces of cod battered and deep fried. Served with french fries and cole slaw. teh fish was nice and thick. It was well cooked. However the tartar sauce was a bit unique — it was a reddish colored dipping sauce. I’m guessing they combine ketchup and mayo to make the sauce. I wasn’t a fan, but after I doused the sauce with Malt Vinegar, I was good to go! A fun place to hang out with friends.
