This is the company that American Home Shield (Home Warranty Company) sent out to inspect my furnace… Scott, the technician, was more interested in talking than he was to fix the problem. Took the furnace panel off wrote down a couple of numbers closed it up and was done with the furnace inspection… Showed him the problem that I had called about (guest bedroom register had no air flow) and he told me he would have to call another company to come out and use a camera. Seriously? No inspection camera? I will never use this company again.

Greg from Weatherwise gives this kind of service a great name. My furnace went out Friday afternoon. I placed a service call to my home warranty provider AHS, and really didn’t expect even a call until Monday. I was on my way to buy a space heater, but Greg called and waited for me to get home. This was Saturday morning just after 8am. He was professional, friendly, and efficient. Less than a 24 hour turnaround time, and Greg was considerate enough to get it done quickly as the temps are going below 20 degrees.

Dealt with Weatherwise via my home warranty company. Very responsive, very professional, diagnosed and fixed problem in very short period of time. Went far above and beyond necessary level of service beings it was late in the evening on July 3^rd. Would recommend to anyone.

I had to use this company because of my appliance insurance, but trust me, if I had any other choice, I wouldn’t. These people have absolutely no idea what they are doing and are so incredibly rude. If you have time to have a tech out multiple times to «guess» what might be wrong with your ac/​furnace, then I guess this company is ok. I personally don’t…don’t waste your time/​money with this joke of a company.

I got a hold of Weatherwise through my home warranty company. I’ve had to call them a couple of times when my furnace stopped heating and then again today when my air conditioner was on the fritz. Greg is always super nice and prompt when calling to arrange a time to come out. I’ve had Scott as the technician both times. He is knowledgable, trustworthy and friendly. I’ll keep on calling them because of their great service and knowledge even after my warranty expires.

Our furnace just stopped. BAM! No warning. Put in a call to Weatherwise about 9pm. First thing the next morning, got a call from Greg to arrange an appt. He arrived within two hours. He quickly assessed the situation and determined the thermostat had shorted out blowing a fuse in the system. Greg had all the parts on his truck to make the required repairs.
We went from freezing cold to nice and warm again in less than 12 hours. That’s great service. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much Greg and Weatherwise H & C.

Greg from Weatherwise showed up on a Sunday morning to repair our furnace. He called ahead to let us know when to expect him. He had parts on his truck to fix the problem. He also noticed a small issue– which he resolved. He was very courteous and we would definitely recommend them to friends and family! Thank You!

Twice now I have had Greg from Weatherwise sent out to our rental property in Boulder for issues with our furnace. Both times this man has been so rude to me that I hung up the phone shaking. I have filed 2 complaints now with First American and told them if they refer me to Weatherwise again I will have to find a new home warranty company. Greg literally yelled at me because I told him I was going to shop around for a quote from other places before I committed to paying him $ 300 for a cleaning. I was so dumbfounded by how he spoke to me I started laughing… I said «do you hear how you are speaking to me right now?» He continued to yell telling me that unless I use them to clean the furnace he will not certify the work he was doing with First American. Threatening and rude is not how to get business. Oddly enough, right when I got off the phone with him (I hung up after being berated for 5 min,) I got a call from First Am who had also gotten a call from Greg telling them he would not certify the work unless I agreed to get the furnace cleaned. The guy at First Am said Greg was rude to him too! What is with this guy?! All the positive comments in here are pretty mind blowing. Such a different experience than I have had. However, if you click on «reviews that have not been recommended» at the bottom of the page you will find stories just like mine. Absolutely the rudest maintenance person I have ever dealt with. Weatherwise, you guys need to get rid of Greg. That guy is a nightmare. I have a creepy feeling he is at the house right now causing more damage to the furnace out of spite. I’m incredibly uncomfortable having him in our home.

Submitted a service request and had my gas furnace up and running within 3 hours. The control board on my unit had shorted out. They had some spare ones on the truck. Scott was a great technician. Thanks!

If your warranty company refers you to these guys, I’d recommend asking for a different company and staying far away from these guys. They claimed our rental property that was temporarily being renovated was vacant and abandoned and because of their report to the warranty company, they denied our claim for our furnace replacement. Scott came out on 8÷1÷14 and when he left we thought everything was fine and they’d be back to service it or replace it soon as he said we’d be in touch in a few days. When AHS, the warranty company, called with the report he gave them, we couldn’t believe what was included in his report, none of which he went over with us while he was there. Sadly, they instantly denied our claim with no option to appeal. If I would have went with a different company, the situation would be different and I wouldn’t be paying $ 3000+ for the furnace myself.

During a cleaning service call on our Carrier heater (which is 16 years old) Weatherwise diagnosed and showed us the reading from their CO meter which detected a small CO leak in the heat exchangers. Given the age of the heater, this would only get worse and become a serious safety risk. A CO meter is necessary to verify if there is an actual leaks and the amount of CO leaking into the house.
Some companies rely on a visual exam of the heat exchangers using an optical probe, but this will not determine if there is an actual leak or the severity.
Weatherwise knew that Carrier parts (which cost $ 1,200) are covered under a 20-​year warranty, and we would only need to pay for the $ 400 labor cost to replace the exchangers. Plus they cleaned and serviced the heater which should be good for years to come.
I was very pleased with their honesty, knowledge, and prompt friendly service. And would recommend them to others.

Kudos to Greg who came and worked very diligently to solve the problem with our very high tech boiler. Another vendor had already been stumped but Doug kept at it, figured out the problem, solved it, and left my house with me as a VERY satisfied customer. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends for sure.

I was referred to Weatherise Heating & Cooling by my home warranty company, and was very pleased with the service I received. Great guys! Very friendly and on time. Got the job done. Would highly recommend this company.

there is never a good time for furnaces to go out but new years day was about the worst, as we had friends coming over and the house was getting really cold really quickly. we went on craigslist and found weatherwise-​the only company we called that answered their phone as the company and not with «uh, hello?»
greg came to the house soon after and got our old furnace cleaned up and working good as new. he took time to explain what was needed, and he even came back out a second time without complaint when we told him the fan wouldn’t turn off-​but it turned out it was because we had the fan in the «on» position at the thermostat… duh.
in summary: very professional, friendly, great service!
