Service was excellent. Prices are reasonable. The appetizer was ok and the jalea mixta for 2 was a good size portion. The problem is that it only had 3 shrimps 3 mussels and maybe 3 calamari rings and a huge amount of fish fillets that seemed to be tilapia. If it’s mixed seafood I would’ve love to had been able to eat more seafood less fish.

Lovely little spot and great food. When you check in through Unilocal you get free sangria with purchase of entrée. The empenada were good. We liked the beef more than the chicken. Not used to this type of empenada. It’s more of a pastry with sprinkled granulated sugar. Still, flavorful! Their seafood soup was delish! I recommend this spot. They have a back area for outside ambiance as well. I’m from Chicago and here on weekend. I’d give them a 4.8 only because I would like to try more of their food next time I come.

This was my first time here, the restaurant is very small, you really want to sit on the patio to eat, hopefully the weather is in your favor that night. We started with cervche which was very fresh we ordered a pitcher of sangria it was good and the waitress kept coming over and refilling our glasses with ice. We had a fried rice w seafood and a fillet fish w seafood on top of it in a pink sauce both were very good. As we left they had music out on the patio.

Food is good not THAT great but definitely fair for the price in Weston, I come here every year when I’m in town visiting family… kid friendly and service is great… if you get the ceviche please upgrade to the Corvina you’ll thank me later, Tilapia is not fish for ceviche! It’s cheap and kills the taste… Great lunch specials and family atmosphere

We knew that finding a restaurant on Christmas Day was going to be a challenge. We landed on a strip mall in Weston and had a few options of restaurants that were open: American, Italian, Peruvian and Japanese. Being Peruvian and having been at Sabor Latino in the past, we decided to go there. It was last minute and we invited my family so we had to wait for them. We figured we would order an app and have a drink while we waited. The restaurant was empty, the server told us we could sit in the patio if we liked. It was around 6pm and there was a nice breeze so we sat outside. It was very charming! We had lake view, and Christmas lights all under a nice breezy weather and a full moon. Sitting at the patio is a must! The waiter told us that they were offering happy hour(2 for 1). My girlfriend ordered a Sangria and I ordered a Pisco Sour. The waiter told me that the Pisco is served in a rocks glass but he gave it to me in a pint glass since it was not part of the two for one deal. I ordered«Conchitas a la Parmesana al Pesto». A Peruvian staple with a twist. My girlfriend ordered tostones(not so Peruvian lol, as a matter of fact why are they on the menu?!). The drinks came out fast but the apps took for ever! It took my family about 30 minutes to get to the restaurant and the appetizer came out just as they were siting down. My biggest complaint was that traditionally Conchitas is made with fresh weathervane scallops. I got served with what appeared to be tiny previously frozen bay scallops. A touch of pesto? Not really, the scallops were smothered in pesto overpowering the dish. Couldn’t taste the scallops at all. The menu didn’t specify what kind of scallops they were serving, but once again, Peruvian recipe calls for the bigger sea scallops… Also did I mention this appetizer came at a whopping $ 16.99?! So after that my family decided to order drinks. They also wanted Pisco sours. The server told my family they could order it but it wasn’t part of the happy hour and that it would come in a small rocks glass. I stepped in and asked why if mine came in a pints glass. He said he messed up. After going back and forth for a while he said he would make the Pisco sours in the pints glass. We went ahead and ordered a ceviche platter for four. It came with four different types of sauces and enough for the table to pick at. This platter sets you back $ 33.99 but as the menu says, it’s a platter intended for four. My girlfriend ordered Saltado Trio(a variation of lomo saltado) which came with chicken, steak and shrimp. I ordered Chaufa de Pollo. All traditional Peruvian dishes. We all ordered our entrees at the same time. We thought it was kind of weird that the Saltado Trio and the Chaufa came out about 5 minutes before the ceviche. My girlfriend and I started eating while my family had to wait for the ceviche, mind you the ceviche platter was an appetizer platter and ordered at the same time as our entrees. It just kept getting worse for us after that. The Ceviche platter came with four different kinds of fish ceviche and sauces: traditional, crema de aji limo, crema de aji amarillo, and crema de rocoto. For the portion that they served, they should have charged half the price because it looked like it was a serving for two. Also, all four variations came at different temps. Anyone who is an experienced ceviche eater knows that its served ice cold. The temperatures on three of these were questionable and definitely in the danger zone. Mind you, this is raw fish we are talking about. The waiter first tried telling us that it was normal, then he said it was the sauce. Excuse me? This is Ceviche we are talking about. Then he said we ate more than half of it so he could not send it back. I am not one to argue but do not take advantage of me. I told him that the portion was small and secondly, there are five people at the table. If each tries a bite of course its going to appear like it is half eaten. He made us take the ceviche off our plates and put it back on the platter to make it look like we did not eat out of it as much when he took it back. He took it off the bill but ridiculous way to handle things… My Girlfriend’s dish was the Saltado Trio was on the menu for $ 16.99. This is a variation of the«Lomo Saltado» everyone knows. It comes with chicken, steak and shrimp sauteed along with onions, tomatoes and cilantro in a wine and soy sauce served with fries and rice. The dish was nothing to brag about and only came with three pieces of shrimp. The steak was a little chewy. You can find this dish cooked better at other places for a cheaper price. My girlfriend was not too thrilled about it either. I had the Chaufa de Pollo. Its simple, but I grew up on it and its a Peruvian staple. On the menu for $ 12.99 I thought was a fair price and comparable to other places. The dish itself was poorly executed. The rice was mushy and the chicken was dry and stale. Not sure if I will giving this place another shot.

Unfortunately disappointed :( I’ve been here before over a year ago and I remember the food was very good. I’m not sure what Happened but it is not worth the time or money spent. My boyfriend(whom I’ve been with for 3 years) is Peruvian. He lived in Lima, Peru with his family for nearly a decade. So, needless to say, I think I’ve had my fair share of Peruvian cuisine. I LOVE ceviche and I’ve eaten a lot of it — it’s also one of my boyfriends families favorite dishes. With that being said, are we a little critical when it comes to dining Peruvian cuisine? Yes absolutely. We came here on Christmas … Yes they were open and dead! There were two other tables beside ours. They had a select happy hour menu. Sangria was 2 for 1. It was OK. Nothing special. Ordered some tostones and scallops with pesto as an appetizer. The scallops were $ 16.99 and horrible! First of all, they were bay scallops — which means they were practically invisible. The dish was VERY salty. We ordered a ceviche for 4 since there was 5 of us and I also got the saltado trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. I had 3 shrimp in my entire dish … Wow. The steak was awful. Very over cooked and chewy. The rice was very salty. The fries were good though. That’s the best thing I can say about my dish. Now, the ceviche … It was warm! The fish was warm … Each of the 5 of us tried a piece and refused to eat anymore because that’s just asking for food poisoning. My boyfriends sister is also a chef … We mentioned it to the waiter and he argued with us trying to tell us that’s the way it’s made. I had to step in and tell him they are Peruvian … And we eat ceviche all the time! We’ve never had it with warm fish. That’s a health hazard. He then went on to say the chef would probably not comp the dish because it looked like we had eaten some of it … So my boyfriend explained to him«well, there’s 5 of us and we all tried it to make sure each flavor was warm». We did end up getting the ceviche comp’ed(by the way it was $ 24.99) BUT the hassle was ridiculous. The bill was $ 93.00 which shocked me because this was not an «up scale» restaurant and the food was NOT worth it. Sorry to say — but I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again.

I like the food special the red pargo fish. I did have to ask several times for limes, and take long to get it. My rice was mushy but I have to be truly the flavor was good But they have to be more into cleaning the coffee was nasty espresso with a flavor of instant coffee and on top of that the cup was dirty all over around. The service even so he was really friendly and also constantly asking how we where doing my recommendation all plates need to be on time together we were 3 and our plates did not get all together. Don’t take me wrong only up grade your service.

Food was average. Usual trick to over salt. Ceviche was good. Service was really medium low. Asked 3 times for ice and check never came, had to go to the bar to pay my bill. will not come back

The restaurant has great atmosphere if you sit outside near the lake. The food is great nothing too special. I did really enjoy the ceviche and arroz con pollo. Lomo saltado didn’t taste like the Peruvian way but I expected it. Overall really great service from our server. Except he recommended us a ceviche appetizer and charged us for a full price ceviche.

The fish is very good. I had a grilled fish with an orange sauce. My husband a fish and garlic. Service was good and staff is friendly and accommodating. Conp sangria for checking in was a nice surprise. It’s good and has a nice unexpected kick! We enjoyed it and will be back.

Terrible food, we ordered an Arroz con Pollo and had to return it because the chicken was rotten… The place is also not very clean and service was painfully slow… Will not go back ever again.

The food is okay but the service could use some improvement. There is limited seating. I ate anticuchos there but the meat was a bit hard to chew. The view by the water is beautiful to enjoy while you eat.

Food is Ok if you haven’t travel to Peru in a many years, the service unfortunately was a disaster. They have 2 waitresses one of the 2 is bitter and clearly hates her job. The other is related to the owners so she was pleasant, but she ruined it by lying to me about the fish they use for Ceviche, she claimed it was Corvina, thus naturally i was excited and ordered one it turned out to be grouper not corvina confirmed by the other bitter waitress who didn’t know her colleague was telling people it was Corvina.
