My daughter has taken dance here for 7 years! We love the family friendly atmosphere and the variety of classes offered. The owner gives the dancers so many opportunities to showcase their talent in and around the community! If you’re looking for a studio be sure to check out WDA!

These ladies were great choreographing my daughter’s quinces. What a delight to work with them and see how much love they put into working with these kids. Thanks so much Weston Dance Academy.

My 3-yr old daughter started taking ballet/tap classes here this past July. I wanted to wait until she had a few classes under her belt before writing a review. First impression: It’s a small storefront in a strip mall. The academy is split into 2 dance studios and a «reception area». It definitely has a «mom and pop» vibe to it. And once you meet the owners, you’ll see that it is — it is owned and run by a married couple — Ms. Penny(who is one of the instructors) and Mr. Bob. They are very personable and sweet — but maybe I’m biased since we are all from the same neighborhood in Queens, NY :) They have several different classes, split into dance types and age groups. My daughter is 3 and she is in the(Ages) 3 – 5 Ballet/Tap class. It is an hour long class — 30 min of tap followed by 30 min of ballet. My daughter is at that age where she has a VERY short attention span so if she follows along for more than 5 minutes at a time, it’s a huge success. But, they are very professional and seem to understand that this age is more about«participation at will» rather than trying to force them to pay attention and follow along the whole time. The instructors are very patient and have a calm manner. My daughter loves the classes and Ms. Penny. At the end of each class, the instructor hands out stickers and/or stamps. They do recitals every June and a winter show in December. We haven’t done one yet, but I’ve heard from other mothers that they are really fun Oh, and their prices are reasonable.
