I had a wonderful experience with this store. My sales person Jody could not have been more helpful or accommodating. She helped me with everything and has ensured the order was perfect from start to finish and helped me ensure I got the best price. Terrible. RUDE, Obnoxious customer service at the Westport location!!! Ordered kitchen hardware and spoke to Karen on the phone. Wow! Karen really needs to work on the customer service skills and learn to treat her customers with respect. not talk down to them. Am I not the customer spending money??? Let’s get this straight Karen. you WORK at restoration hardware, which happens to be in a wealthy community… so lose the sarcastic snob attitude.

It started out OK. My salesperson Jody and her IPad were very helpful. The first delivery went fine. I then switched my couch for a LARGER version, and that delivery took forever. When the delivery date came and went, no one from the Westport store bothered to follow up on my repeated calls. Jody seemed to be off whenever I called and no one gave her my messages. The Westport sales people I spoke with on the phone were rude and incompetent. I called SF home office customer support myself and got my answer that minute and my delivery in 4 days. I love RH, but not the Westport staff. I will shop in Greenwich or on line.

This place is absurd. The quality of some of the furniture seems good, so I was looking into buying a sectional there. But no one who works there knows anything about the products. They carry around iPads and bring up the web site if you have any questions. I can do that myself! Seriously. Even more pathetic is that I could navigate the site better than the employees. No schematics available for anything, no info past the most basic of dimensions, and no one could even tell me what dept the sectional I wanted would be. Then I called the catalog number when I got home and no one there could give me the seat height or seat depth either! They said they’d email me the answers and three days later I still haven’t heard. Buy elsewhere!

Very disapointing purchase experience. I bought $ 6K of outdoor furniture from the Westport, CT store. I specifically had them check to make sure that all items were in stock so they could be delivered. I was told I would receive a call for delivery scheduling the week of July 12th — I heard nothing. When I called… I was told not all items were in stock and I needed to wait yet another week for a call from delivery. Very disapointed, I guess I will take my additional business(furnishing a new home and 2 rental properties) elsewhere.
