In my opinion, Steven Mancini is the best hair salon in the area. I’ve been coming here for a few years. The salon itself is very nice, and they always offer me something to drink while I’m there(I like their cappuccino!). I’ve seen a few stylists — Steven and Yota are both great. They are very knowledgeable and really know what they’re doing. I’ve seen them both for highlights and a cut/blow dry and I’ve always been very happy with the result. They are pricey(I believe it’s around $ 220 for highlights), but it’s worth it. Since I’m on a budget, I asked to see one of their less expensive stylists last time. They suggested Cameron — and she was great! Very friendly and understood exactly what I wanted. I also saw her for highlights($ 155), and I’m very happy with the result. I recently moved to NYC and tried a new hair salon — I was very disappointed and have vowed to come back to CT and go to Steven Mancini whenever I need my hair highlighted!

i LOVE this salon and the stylists that I see regularly. Cameron is a goddess with color and Jasmina is amazing for a cut and blowdry. What i am EXTREMELY disappointed in is their increase in pricing. Yes, I understand you moved locations but the services were already expensive to begin with. I am second guessing my return, even though i have been seeing both for years now. It is really unfortunate.

Steven Mancini is an amazing salon. I have been coming here for the last ten years and I have never had a bad experience. Definitely go to Joseph Martinetto for your cut. He is the best!

My experience at Steven Mancini Salon was at their Wilton location(which was beautiful) so my review is quality of service based. Steve Mancini came highly recommended to me by three people. My services at Steven Mancini included: balayage, a single process and a blowout. Prior to getting my hair done here, I was going all the way to Newbury St. in Boston for my services and was making an effort to find something local and end my road trips or avoid going into Manhattan. So, I’m very accustomed to pricing that reflect excellent quality and don’t mind paying them either. I was surprised that getting a blowout was a separate service that you pay for in addition to color services but I went with it. I’m not sure if it’s included with a cut but I’m guessing it’s not. My advice is, get ALL pricing before scheduling your appointment. My total for the services listed above was $ 490(NOT including gratuity). I’ve had my hair done in Boston, Manhattan and Beverly Hills and have NEVER paid that much($ 385 for balyage, single process, cut and blowout is what I’m use to paying even with a salon owner doing my hair). My color looked great the day of service but after a week of wash and wear, it became very dull and brassy. I ended up canceling my haircut with a stylist there that I had booked two months in advance after finding much better quality and price in Greenwich and have not returned to Steven Mancini since.
