As far as Panera’s, it’s what you would expect for menu. But, stopping for a late dinner and they just couldn’t coordinate the full order. My meal was luke warm, almost cool, by the time my hot beverage was delivered. It was scalding hot. Too hot to enjoy with my meal. The good news… they served it in a paper cup so I could take it with me.

Updated review: Dropping down to 2.5 stars; despite placing a large order at 9:00 a.m. for a «Rapid Pick-Up» order at noon(12:00 p.m.), the order was still about 10 minutes late. Unlike the Panera in Manchester(on Demming), this location at least has a separate area for their rapid pick-up orders(which is basically a bookshelf where you pick-up your order based on your last name — much like how would find a book in a library bookshelf.). Like most other Panera restaurants, this location is busy at peak hours so be prepared to wait. One last quibble: In addition to the order being late, the bag also broke on our take-out order. We had placed a very large order, and while all items in the bag were carefully packed, the entire order nearly fell to the ground because the bag broke when it was handed to us. We weren’t even offered a replacement bag. So, next time we hope that, instead of placing a very large in one brown paper bag, maybe two bags would have been more prudent.

Drive though is awful, haven’t gotten my order correct once. All they do is say sorry and hand you a cookie, no thanks.

Biggest panera I’ve seen so far… also very organized. They were at the start of dinner rush and everyone had their orders placed, food in their hands in under ten mins(I don’t know the exact time it could have been less, just estimating how long it felt) I got the sesame chicken salad with bread on the side, my friend got the chicken Caesar salad with chips. Both were great! Sesame chicken had just the right amount of chicken and wontons. Bread was also very fresh and soft!

Stopped for breakfast on the road. Had a jalapeño cheese«bagel» which was fine, aside from not really being a bagel. My wife inexplicably ordered an half Asian Chicken salad and half a flatbread sandwich for breakfast, despite the early hour. She enjoyed her food, but couldn’t finish it. The dark roast coffee was surprisingly good. Although I generally prefer local places, Panera is a safe bet with consistent food.

Half the employees are rude, don’t care, and are uneducated in how to care about customers. The food is sloppily made always and nobody seems to care. I’ve witnessed on many occasions where associates have talked extremely rude to customers and managers have no idea what they’re doing. One star is a stretch. For your sake, don’t go here.

They forgot to give me water, table had crumbs on it and they barely gave me any Mac & cheese. And I payed $ 8 for this. That’s crazy.

Went through the drive through this afternoon to pick up some food for myself and my boyfriend. Brought it home to find that I had bread instead of the apple I asked for as my side, and when my boyfriend got home from work we realized that his half a ham sandwhich with cheese was actually JUST cheese. Nothing else. Although the girl working the window was very sweet, it doesn’t make up for the fact that after a long night at work my boyfriend came home to a couple slices of bread and some cheese.

Needed lunch badly before 12:30pm, and nothing else nearby seemed to be open. They have a well-oiled machine and will give you exactly what you ordered a month or even years ago. Kale caesar had great cheese croutons and lightly dressed. Had my first taste of their soba, which had interesting flavors and good noodles; I was impressed.

Quick service, typical Panera fare, the tables were a bit sloppy/not cleaned up, lots of teenagers for some reason. Still, I was impressed because this Panera has a drive through!!!

Ok so u pick up your own food, you clean off your own table and then they can’t even fill the sandwich with enough chicken!

I was running late this morning and flew out the door without breakfast. I’m trying to stay healthy these days so running through Dunkin Donuts for a bagel isn’t an option. I’m not often in Wethersfield but had to be for work today. I noticed this Panera has a drive-through. What?! I also remembered they have a couple different«Power Breakfast» sandwiches. I parked my car out of habit even though I JUST said to myself, «ohhh a drive-through!» It was morning and I’d had no coffee yet. =) I walked in and was greeted immediately. I couldn’t remember the name of the sandwich but the cashier knew exactly what I was talking about. She was friendly and quick. I waited only a few minutes and my sandwich was ready. I filled my coffee cup with half dark roast and half hazelnut and it was wonderful as always. I love their coffee. I was on my way in no time. The only negative was of the three cooks, one was livid with someone and was telling the other two of her utter disgust. She was pissed. That was a little awkward but hey, we’re all human.

I am a huge fan of Panera Bread and I was incredibly excited to see a location built in my town but unfortunately this location does not meet my expectations. The food is inconsistent and mediocre at best when just a few miles away on the Berlin turnpike Panera location I can get the same meal for better. Once I was served burnt and spoiled tasting broccoli and cheddar soup. Any other time I order a panini or sandwich its messily thrown together and not up to the standard I have seen at other locations. No care is put into the meals even though they take an abnormally long time to put together. The staff on several occasions have been rude and unprofessional. When the location first opened it seemed like the staff was barely trained and frantic but I was understanding when one of the employees shoved an entire 12″+ stale baguette into my takeout bag. On more than one occasion I’ve been met with unnecessary attitude or straight out rude comments going through the drive through. One time specifically a young lady was terse and annoyed through the intercom and when I pulled up to the window her tone stayed the same. When she took another 10 minutes to bring me my food I reminded her that I asked for whipped cream on my smoothie and she scoffed loudly and took her time to do as I requested. Another time a young man was too busy speaking with his coworker to acknowledge my presence although he had my drink in his hand. All he had to do was turn around and hand it to me but instead he continued his conversation. All and all this staff is very obviously not held up to the same Panera Bread’s employee protocol as any other location. On the better side of the 2 stars the seating is great and it’s always a great place to bring work or meet up with friends. I come to this location for its convenience but I’d suggest taking the 10 – 15 minute ride to the Berlin turnpike location if you want the quality Panera usually provides or just bread because this location is apparently frequently completely out of the main commodity.

Not Panera’s finest location. The sandwich I ordered was shoddily assembled, the half salad had zero dressing, and no one who worked there seemed to be having anything closely resembling a good day. Keep driving. There’s something else you can eat.

Well, 3 times in a row they have been out of my morning breakfast item at 7:45am. This place has been getting so inconsistent lately. I’d rather go across the street. Got a salad and the chicken slices were still icy and slightly frozen… so I am assuming that the chicken they use is a cooked frozen product?

Been here about 4 times, I can sum this review up in one word«inconsistent» This location is not reliable at all, even if your hands are full and you are taking your lunch to go, you Should Stop and look through that brown bag to make sure you have everything in there you paid for because likely, your turkey sandwich is Not in there or your panini is made incorrectly. On a good note although I didn’t try this, and now never will, it does have a drive through so if you nuggets are sleeping in the back of your car and its pouring rain outside This can work… Again check that bag before you drive off, because I’m sure you didn’t pay 22 $ for a cup of soup. If you can and have time, perhaps on the way… Try the Glastonbury location, they seem to run a tighter ship in that store

This is a fairly new location for this bakery and café chain that I finally visited for the first time tonight. It was pouring rain when I met a friend for dinner here tonight but as soon as I entered the restaurant I was greated with by a warm and inviting atmosphere that is standard to all the Paneras that I have visited. Upon entering you are greeted by the bakery section which has an array of muffins, pastries and bagels to tantilize the senses. The menu is easy to read(even without my glasses LOL) and there are also conveniently placed menus WITH nutritional information located near the cash registers. Nutritional information is also listed on the menu boards Ordering was very easy and I had a very pleasant employee that took my order and all the«modifications» I made to it. I was given a buzzer and my meal was ready in less then five minutes. I got the chicken noodle soup and a turkey breast sandwich on rye bread. I asked for the sandwich to be toasted as well. My friend had the«Take 2» combo of Black bean soup and also a ½ turkey sandwich. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that although it did not take that much time to get my food my soup was lukewarm at best. The sandwich was pressed and warm but by the time I took a bite into it — the rye bread was soggy and the minimal amount of vegetables in the sandwich proceeded to fall out. Also — although the turkey breast was good, it was pre-sliced and it contained maybe 3 or 4 moderately thin slices in it. In addition to sandwiches, soups and salads — they also have a full coffee«bar» with free refills. I love the fact that the coffee canisters have a time stamp as to when the coffee was made. There is nothing I hate more then old(and cold) coffee. There are also comfy chairs for patrons to enjoy your coffee and/or pastry. All in all a solid store with plenty of seating BUT it is a pricey for the type and quantity of sandwich I got. For about the same price I could have gotten a more substantial grinder, however, I would not have had the ambiance that Panera exudes. Will I go back — yes — but I probably will not go back because I crave a Panera Sandwich. Based on these factors I give 2 ½ stars. I am giving the restaurant an extra ½ star was because of the employees who, even at 9pm on a Thursday night, were very pleasant and even gave me a blueberry muffin for the road. Although that did not make up for the sandwich — it was a very sweet ending to my Panera experience
