I think this location may be permanently closed. I went there last Friday around 5:00 p.m. and it was closed even though the sign said they were open until 11:00 p, m. Also, I noticed that Grub Hub and Foodler are no longer accepting online orders. I could be wrong but it would explain why the most recent reviewers got no response from them.

I only got this app to leave a lovely review for this business. I placed an order online for over $ 50. Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to call them to see the status of my order. No one picked up the phone. I ended up calling the online servicer and they were able to cancel it for me. Business open until 10pm today. I called about 10 times and no one answered, no one showed, no one cares. Problem was I had ordered food for the family and pizza for the kids. I had to re order from dominos and wait. Dominos were at my door in 25 – 30 minutes. Perfect…

Really aggravated right now. Everywhere says Nana’s hours for Saturday are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., however, I have tried calling and tried ordering online and it looks like they are closed. This is not a way to earn business.

Krispy Krunchy from the out side Fried perfect and still moist inside. I wish you have your own unique sauce to go with that. The price is very reasonable. Will go back.

Have ordered delivery twice. The first time the order was wrong. Second time is was cold. Pizza was thin and okay, but the were hardly any toppings. Chicken wings were greasy and I was given the wrong sauce. I will usually give a business a second try. They had their last shot with me

Ordered delivery on Eat24 and the food came out faster than estimated, always a good sign. If you’re thinking of doing the family combo w/chicken and tenders, use their coupon to get a free medium pizza for the same price. The biscuits are soft and slightly sweetened, the tenders are huge. Chicken has great crunch. Fries could be crispier. Pizza was tasty, yet the crust was more doughy than I would’ve liked it.

They screwed up my order — and REFUSEDTOREFUNDTHEMISTAKE! After a long day of holiday traveling, delayed and turbulent flights, I decided that cooking wasn’t going to be a good idea. I saw some good reviews of Nana’s Krispy Krunchy Chicken and decided to give it a go. They have a pretty nice menu online and a section with meals on . When our order finally arrived, it was missing one of the sodas, and one of the side items. It wasn’t a really big deal, but since we were charged additional $ for these items, we emailed Foodler, just to let them know that our order was messed up. They emailed us back saying that the restaurant was closed for the day(it was New Years Eve) and they would get back to us the following day. No big deal, I thought. Now today. January 2nd. We received an email from Foodler saying, «Unfortunately Nana’s declined to offer a refund but I have added a Foodler bucks credit to your account for the inconvenience.» WHAT!?! I mean, it’s awesome that Foodler stood behind their meal ordering platform and gave us this credit to use anywhere on the Foodler network — but the fact that this small, local restaurant declined to offer a refund of the difference of $ 3 — that was their error — was a slap in the face. I understand mistakes happen — but an owner who is unwilling to rectify the situation or even apologize is ridiculous. I mean, they had screwed up our order and basically said«Too bad.» Foodler was awesome at quickly rectifying the situation and gave us a credit much larger than what was due. However, the business practice of Nana’s to not refund a credit after they didn’t deliver a product — is reflective of an inexperienced, bad quality restaurant. So, in closing: BEWARE of Nana’s Krispy Krunchy Chicken! If you get an incorrect order, the restaurant is unwilling to fix the mistake! And unwilling to refund!!! Food for thought: There are tons of other local restaurants that take care of their customers and actually care about their businesses.

Like me you may be skeptical how a place can serve good fried chicken AND good pizza. My husband and I couldn’t decide so we tried both and both were great! Delivery was fast and friendly, the pizza was done perfectly with just the right amount of cheese and the chicken meal was crispy and moist. Generous portions and the biscuit was made with love :) Any comparisons to KFC are completely unfair.

We ordered delivery from Foodler. Where to start? The delivery guy, who barely — and I mean BARELY speaks English and we can hardly understand a single word he says, calls and says to come out and get the food. But he’s not there. He’s nowhere on our street. Nowhere. So he calls back in about 2 minutes, pissed, that we haven’t come out. He’s at the wrong place and has the nerve to be pissed at us? My husband tries to talk to him and gets nowhere, so I take the phone and try explaining to him that our street runs off of both sides of the main road and he must be on the wrong end. No, he says, he is emphatic that he is in front of the right number. Keeps asking for the color of the house and says over and over«I see you now», despite me telling him our front door is wide open, my husband and son are both outside and he and his car are nowhere to be seen so he can’t be in the right place. He hangs up on me. We wait a few minutes and just as we are dialing the number for the restaurant to complain, he finally shows up. Doesn’t say a word about screwing up, being rude or anything. Thrusts the bags out the car window at my husband and takes off. Great huh? Now to the food. The chicken was taken out of the fryer just seconds from being burnt. And the coating tasted WAY too much of pepper. In fact, after a couple of bites, all you could taste was pepper. Who wants that? The coating was brittle, dry and crumbling because it was over cooked. The first bite I took I got a huge flabby piece of fat that should have been trimmed off of the breast before cooking. That was unappetizing! Total zero all around on the chicken. My daughter got a meatball sub and said it was ok, but not great. We got fries. They are odd — not like any fries I’ve ever seen. I don’t even know how to describe them. Sort of spiral, but wide and thick. We like nice crispy, crunchy fries. These would never be cooked enough for us. Great if you like fries with steak fries kind of texture. But not for us. The chicken alone would keep me from ordering again. I mean, they are Nana’s Krispy Krunchy Chicken and they set up right next door to KFC. They need to bring it and it was terrible. I can’t conceive the reviews that said the chicken was great unless they are friends and relatives of the people who own the place or the place has gotten both a new recipe and a new cook. Maybe there are some strange people out there who like so much black pepper in your nearly burnt chicken batter that it burns your tongue and makes it almost impossible to taste anything else. But even worse — what are you thinking putting someone in a position to deal face to face with the public who cannot effectively communicate with them? That is terrible service. And from other reviews I’ve read this guy regularly expects customers to come out and get the food from him. Definitely not ok. If you absolutely must have fried chicken go out somewhere and get it or fry it yourself, but don’t bother with this place. Even frozen from the supermarket is better than what we got. And don’t bother with their take out service unless you want to be frustrated and treated rudely. Avoid at all costs.

I had the two piece mixed deal with a side and soda for lunch. The chicken was good and so was the Mac and cheese side. I’d go back again.

Ordered a 4-Piece White Chicken dinner with cole slaw, biscuit, and a side of onion rings. The good: –Chicken was moist and seemed fresh –Cook time and delivery were prompt The not-so-good: –Chicken was over-salted(and I like plenty of salt) –Onion rings were nothing to write home about –The cole slaw was bland and also seemed like it needed salt added to it. Also there was a rancid taste to it as if the mayo had gone bad. Had to throw it away. It was too disgusting to eat. –The biscuit is quite small In my mind, KFC would be the bare minimum standard for fried chicken. If you are worse than KFC, that is not good. If I had the choice to go back to Nana’s or go to KFC, I would go to KFC. I just wouldn’t go to the KFC in Weymouth because they are disgusting.

I have travelled extensively for many years. My favorite part of it has always been trying local food. I had the pleasure of trying southern fried chicken. I brought my son with me for his first fried chicken and he and I both could not have been more pleased. Just the right amount crunch and bold flavor. Highly recommended. If my son Liam gives it five stars if it has to be great!

Extremely underwhelmed by this place. Received a flyer in the mail and decided to try. Ordered a Steak and Cheese Sub. Roll was good, the rest was frozen. We also ordered some chicken. Pretty much looked frozen too — dried out by heat lamps maybe?. KFC much better. Delivery guy was all balled-up too. kept calling my cellphone asking which apartment I was in. If he took the time to read the«special instructions» on the delivery receipt, he could have found us right away. Kept requesting that we meet him in the parking lot. If we wanted to go out, we would not have requested delivery. This place won’t last!

I ordered delivery from here through Foodler and paid extra for Mac and cheese and a soda, neither of which actually showed up. I gave it three stars because the fried chicken sandwich was pretty good.

Simply exceptional fried chicken. We ordered 12 piece box mixed pieces, it is cooked to order so not super fast food but worth it as the chicken is flawless. Sides of mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese and cole slaw were all basic but fine, I might suggest making the Mac & cheese sides a bit more quantity as the containers were only half filled. We are definitely making this our regular chicken place. It’s interesting in that the location is essentially next to a KFC but that particular KFC is the single worst fast food restaurant I have ever experienced so Nana’s will have no problem competing.

First time there was a success! They have only been open a few weeks but during lunch there was a steady stream of folks coming in — good sign! They have several options/sizes of meals: from sandwichs to family size with choices of white/dark or mixed meats. They also have some fried fish/shrimp plates and standard deli fare like subs and pizza. But their primary focus is the chicken. My Win! If you love good chicken tenders or sandwichs like I do this has to be on your place to try! I had the chicken sandwich combo, with cole slaw and a soda. The chicken had a nice crunchy(Krunchy!) batter with a bit of cajun seasoning for a kick — not too much though. The meat was juicy and tender. Cole slaw was pretty good and the serving was good size. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I have my fingers crossed that they are able to make it(with all the terrible reviews of that«other» place next door that I stopped going to years ago, Weymouth has been long overdue for a good, cheap and yummy chicken place.

First… you get real full pieces of plump chicken, not the scrawny skin over bones. The Cajun and Buffalo wings both had excellent flavor, though I prefer a little more heat in the Buffalo wings. The crispy chicken breast was also very good. Tenders are huge, but they were under the heat lamp a little too long, and therefore somewhat dry. Except for the dryness of the tenders, the breast and wings were perfectly cooked and juicy. The place is brand new, and there is a little confusion and disorganization in the kitchen regarding timing, but they will work it out. It is a take out place with a few tables.

Must try any new fried chicken place, given the lack of options on the area. Just read previous post, would say almost exactly the same. Ordered 8 piece dark meat only. Very crispy, good seasoning — similar to Popeye’s with the Cajun theme. Would have liked to see a wing or two since those are technically dark meat. Also brought home buffalo chicken wrap which was loaded with chicken pieces. Not hard to beat the KFC next door so they should do well against them. Only other real fried chicken contender in the area is Jenna’s Drive In — chicken there is made to order, no heat lamps needed. Place did appear family run which is nice, could have used more of a friendly greeting upon entering, especially considering the place just opened. Inside was clean, not much in the way of atmosphere or décor but maybe they are working on this. No biggie since it’s a sub/pizza type place anyway — mostly take out business. I would return when the hankering for fried chicken revisits(unless Jenna’s fry machine is fired up!).
