New to the area so we wanted to try out this diner. I had the Lemon Greek Chicken, they give you the smallest pieces of chicken that has all bones(more bones than meat) it tasted most of oregano with no taste of lemon at all. my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs, his 2 huge meatballs were raw in the middle, sauce was way to sweet. Didn’t really care for the décor, mirrors on the wall and when you look into them you can see people behind you eating or staring at you. Our waitress was nice enough but I’m guessing game she was new, when we ordered she asked me what came with my meal(and proceeded to. ask me where it was on the menu). Just wasn’t a place we’d want to eat at again.

Everything we have ever had here has been a winner. An excellent spinach salad as well as all the deserts. We absolutely love the pancakes and other salads as well.

Went here Sunday Afternoon for a late breakfast, early lunch with my husband and children. We were greeted and seated right away, our server was friendly, and attentive. I ordered a 3 egg platter, I was definitely not a fan of the shredded home fries and I LOVE home fries every which way they are served. But these home fries I could still taste the BOX they came in, yes I know it’s a diner so of course their food is frozen but a lot of diners take time to make their frozen food taste a little authentic. These were disgusting! My husband had the French toast was good it wasn’t amazing, he didn’t have that cinnamon taste in his which they should and he also thinks the home fries were garbage. My kids had off the kids menu burger platter, hot dog platter and chicken fingers platter which I mean they’re kids so obviously they loved it. I tried a few fries they were decent. Their coffee was good atleast!

I really, really wanted this place to be good… And it wasn’t the worst, I stopped in with my family, my cousin couldn’t help to be overwhelmed with amount of mirrors surrounding us as we sat down. I laughed because it was at that moment I had just read a review about all the mirrors in this place. Anyway our waitress was great and attentive. I ordered the Chicken Gyro and Disco Fries, the Gyro tasted very weird, I couldn’t finish it all, something wasn’t right, maybe it was the tzatziki sauce, bleh. The disco fries were my savior as well as the oh-so-awesome spiked milkshakes. I had the Crazy Banana, this was heaven in a cup. My sister ordered Disco Fries and a Hamburger, she had no complaints. My cousin ordered a cheese omelette, she was fine with it. And her daughter silver-dollar pancakes which were good. If I were to go back it would be for fries and the Spiked Milkshakes.

This diner never has disappointed me. Great selection of food, excellent staff and speedy service. What more could you ask for? Our server today, Gloria did a great jom, friendly and professional — our breakfast came out quickly, and always refilled the coffee. We picked up a black and white cookie and a chocolate chip for a friend who loved them. Highly recommended.

Went here with my mom during a visit to the area, We got seated pretty quickly and our orders only took a few minutes to come out. I ordered a Nacho salad which was pretty good. It had«bacon bits» which were actually fairly big pieces of bacon which was nice. My mom ordered Beef Bistro Steak Salad and they didn’t over cook the steak like a lot of places. The waitress was nice but a bit odd, at one point I had water which was about half full and she snatched it from behind me and came back in a few seconds with a filled one which was fine by me. Overall I would say this diner is pretty good for anyone thinking about eating here

Came here for the first time I years and years to fulfill my wife’s breakfast requirement for Valentines day. She reported the«best pancakes she’s ever had in NJ»(a tremendous accolade coming from her) The bacon was sort of «meh» but everything else was yummy. I actually went off the reservation and had the lox platter– a generous portion of smoked salmon, a crispy, toasted bagel, cream cheese, onion, and calamata olives. The lack of capers was odd, but I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast!

I have a fear of diners and this is the only diner I’ll step foot in. Staff is always polite and they even ask if you want your bacon crispy or floppy(I hate crispy bacon).

This place doesn’t impress me. The food is just okay, the prices are just okay, and the service is less than okay. If you get Dana as your waitress, ask for a new one. Even on the slowest of nights she doesn’t seem like she’s able to provide you service. I came here a few nights ago and after Dana dropped our food off and ran before we could ask her for anything else, someone at my table called her name and she looked straight at her and then walked away, not coming back for another ten minutes. Just not the best place. Go to Hibernia.

Averaging my review. This would have been two stars and the last time would have been 4 so this review, I’ll make it a 3. Went on Xmas eve. We called. They said they were open until 10. We went around 9. The guy gave us the dirtiest look. Sorry. Yes, I know it was Xmas eve but YOU were the ones that said you were open. If you didn’t want any customers than you should have closed earlier. The food is okay. The food at this place is definitely better now than it was years ago. We used to go a long time ago and the food was horrid. Much better now. However, the hospitality was not showing.

We went here because of the fast service and reasonable prices. We were not disappointed! We often travel to this area and look forward to this being the new place to meet!

Lots if variety here. Salad is decent and the onion soup is tasty. They also serve alcohol which is unusual for a diner. Nice servers. My only complaint is that the food is never hot. The baked potatoes are always lukewarm. Perhaps they need heat lamps?

There are much better diners in the area. Skip this one for lack of good service and food.

OOOOOO I was at this diner at 11:00PM on a saturday night. Not exactly prime time. The burger looked good. My friend ordered cheese fries(which came out of the kitchen in 38 seconds or less) that was covered in good olé cheese whiz. Unfortunately it was luke warm, which is so so so so unappetizing. I still have nightmares about these fries.

It was OK. Took long to get our food(table of 6). But the place was busy. I had a BLT on rye, it was good.

I have been coming here for years! One of the cleanest diners in NJ for sure and the food is great! The waiters and waitresses are extremely lovely. Food always is fresh and hot. We love seeing Dimos and his cheery self! However we miss seeing Kristina with a «K» and Afrodite and their son Johnny! The others are slightly miserable(dont know their names) but hey cant all be happy!

The food at this diner is actually pretty good, but at a business lunch there recently, I was disappointed in the service. If you have a food allergy or similar issue, be cautious here. I asked for a Grilled Chicken Caesar w/o croutons(not because I am fussy, but because it will make me sick). I get near the bottom of the salad, and I spy several croutons there. So instead of making me a salad w/o croutons, someone attempted(poorly) to remove them. Not happy. Then the bus boy came by a couple of times while my companions were still eating, and asked about taking their plates away. It’s not like we were languishing over our meal here. Why the rush? Four star diner food, with two star service, for an overall weighting of three. Meh.

We are fortunate to live in northern NJ, the land of the diner. It seems every diner today is voted the best somewhere. Jefferson diner is best of this, and Sparta Classic best on this website. Blah, blah, blah, blah freakin’ blah. Town Square Diner is the«best diner in Morris county» according to the NJ Record and for once I agree! The food was great. I love good coffee and the brew was fresh and refilled with a smile. My Greek salad was as good as any I have had in Astoria. Jefferson diner has greasy food and poor service since their five minutes of fame with Guy Fieri on DDD. He should have went to Town Square diner instead!
