D & A Auto Service

Went in because my truck wouldn’t start and I just happened to be across the street from them. They said it was the fuel pump and filter, and they replaced both for over $ 700 (way too much). Later, when filling up my pickup, gas was leaking all over the place, so I went to my trusted mechanic near my house. Turns out they not only didn’t reattach the gas tank properly (causing gas to leak out when I fill up the tank), my mechanic tells me the fuel pressure is so low he thinks they put in a used parts or didn’t replace anything. D & A also noticed a lot of «problems» that aren’t really problems according to anyone else, and they would have happily charged me to fix them had I said yes. Glad I got a second opinion.
