Sonic Drive-In

Nasty. Jumbo popcorn chicken? Tiny pieces of hard breading. A chicken sandwich that couldn’t be chewed. Almost $ 17 of inedible food. Oh, and their customer service number is not in service. What the hell happened to Sonic?

Just left they gave me the wrong milkshake that I had to throw out. And the burger was disgusting only good thing in my meal was the fries. Used to go all the time now Im never going back to this one again. Think they need to change management again or just close up shop.

Last night I experienced the worst customer service ever! From the tone I ordered my 4 items, I waited at the pick up window for 15 minutes! After which I knocked on the window several times only to be ignored by the young lady working the drive thru. When she opened her window I asked for my money back, she then took my card and didn’t return for another 4 minutes. This entire time the lady did not speak one word to me. No apologies, no reasoning for the long delays. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever had. I tried to call the manager and the phone number listed says it’s been changed and that the new number is unknown. Come on, Sonic! You can do better, right? Never again. To the young lady, brunette, heavy set, dark hair, wearing a blue flannel, please find a job you at least like because you are clearly in the wrong line of work.

I lived in a different state where Sonic was actually good, White lake location is not so sonic, even the line is always long, staff is miserable, not friendly, you can see them through the glass not doing a whole lot and you sill waiting, tried it multiple times, last time I went for just a bag of ice, one of the girls staged the bag on the window from the inside and left it for the other girl to push it through the window, zero star rating

Throughly disappointing, once again… Advertising new ownership, service today was the worst I have ever seen!!! Didn’t appear to be busy, we pulled up to window and paid, girl handed us a bag and said «here», had to wait for the employees to notice we were still at window because they didn’t give us our drink… No mints, no ketchup for tots, no straw for drink, not even a smile… I love a sonic lime side, but I wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone! TERRIBLE service!

Had to repeat order 3 times although was speaking clearly. Very slow service. Food was cold. No one wants a cold burger and stale fries!

Went here alone. There was no line in the drive thru. The only thing I ordered was a medium mozzarella stick, that was it. It took around 10 minutes to get my order, I drive off, look in the bag and they had given me onion rings. I went back around and they fixed it but it did take another 10 minutes. Pretty nuts considering I was the only person there still.
Decided to try it again with my boyfriend. We ordered fries, they gave us tots and took forever again. Yikes. Done coming here…

I ordered 5 items. 20 min later i received my order and went home. When I got home only 1 item was correct. I called the phone number on the receipt and it was no longer in use. I went online and called 800 number. Left a complaint and was told a manager would call me back. 5 days later still no call. So I ended up with a $ 20 stomachache. Both my mother and myself were sick to our stomachs rest of night and thru next day. Will NOT be going back

Literally ordered 2 m&m ice cream blasts and sat for 15 minutes I paid with a credit card or I would have left. They are so slow. Took my son here just for something quick and fun after finishing kindergarten and I will never be back they r so slow!

What the heck happened to Sonic?! We used to go all the time in college– it wasn’t the best food but it was fun and they had decent food.
This week I visited this location, my first time eating at a Sonic since the nineties. The menu looked great, we ordered several items. I was thrilled they offered «unsweet tea,» even.
Unfortunately, total disaster. «Unsweet» in bizarro-​world means a sickening overdose of splenda.
I ordered chicken tenders, which were hard, dry, and leathery. They came with a piece of plain dry toast for no logical reason.
Spouse had the Chicago dog, which actually looked pretty edible, but he pronounced it «eh.okay, I guess.» Ringing endorsement!
My teenage son had an ice cream drink which he seemed to enjoy, so that might be something to try if we ever get the courage to go back.

I’d never been to a Sonic before and I’m not sure of I’d come after my first experience. When I initially ordered, the girl who took my order sounded cheerful and asked what I’d like, then she immediately sounded annoyed asking us «anything else?» in a condescending tone. When we got our food, we found a hair in my sandwich but decided not to ask for another one just to not be a bother. The food was great other than that and the drinks were good too, but customer service wasn’t a priority.

One of the only fast food joints I really eat at. Love the chilli cheese tots. Plus the shakes are also good with a wide selection and variety. You really can’t go wrong with Sonic.

I believe that the Slowsky turtles work here. We have been here several times and always have to wait and wait. Our last visit, at 11 on Saturday night and there was no line. but, as always, there was a wait. We placed most of our order and was cut off before we completed it, drove up and were blatantly ignored as we tried to get their attention to add another item. Got a lot of attitude for adding cheesy tots.
Luckily I tried the lime slush I had while we were still waiting in line and it was HORRID, like drinking bile, you know when you throw up and there is nothing left on your stomach but PUTRID? Yeah. like that. We told the girl there that it was undrinkable and she was very snarky and said, well it IS lime. I have had MANY lime slushies, this was by far the absolute worst. (It even passed the «Oh crap, taste this!» test and the other person who tasted it gagged.)
I think that was probably our last visit to that location, other Sonics blow this place away. Sonic’s corporate office should probably blow this location right off the map.

Pretty delicious as fast food goes, but also painfully slow.
I appreciate that everything is made fresh, however, there have been times where I’ve waited nearly 15 minutes for an order. They should really bounce the people feeding a family of 7 out of the drive-​thru and over to a carhop space, instead of making everybody wait.
Consistency seems to be a bit of a problem at this location. At least, when it comes to sides, it seems recently that the amount of food you get is not relative to what you ordered and paid for. Sometimes it works, sometimes it sucks.

Come on. You know what you’re getting. Shakes are top notch. Top notch.

I will drive farther to the Commerce Sonic and not go to the White Lake Sonic. Our orders are always luke warm and not fresh. The fries taste as though they have been sitting out too long. I was so excited to see this place go up, yet disappointed in the quality we receive when we go.
