Met a friend here for lunch, not even 5 minutes within siting down asking for our order. And every few minutes asking if we were ready — the place was empty. Got one of their soups, mostly chicken stock not enough pork/shumai. Need to find a place that doesn’t rush me out as soon as I get there. Food was okay not the best I’ve had. Okay for a quick bite before a movie.

Went here a couple times bc it’s so close to work. Food is not bad but there is a smell in this place. I can’t believe no one has mentioned it. It smells like under arm odor or feet. I can barely enjoy the food because of the smell. A restaurant shouldn’t smell like this. It doesn’t even smell like food! Also, get employees who can smile and don’t look so mean.

My boyfriend and I just came in for a quick bite. We ordered the shrimp shumai which is filled with pork and topped off with a shrimp, and to my knowledge pork is not meant to be eaten undercooked. When the dumplings came out, they were cold and had some«goop» that you see when cooking frozen meat so I sent them back. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and the inattentive manager sent the same plate back out with even more goop and an unidentifiable liquid pooling on the plate. My guess is that the dumplings we initially got were microwaved frozen dumplings, and they microwaved it again when we sent it back. So we cut the«new» dumplings in half, and lo and behold, we still see raw meat. We called a different waitress, let her know that the meat inside is undercooked and requested yet again that she heat it up again for me. She took a quick look at the dumplings that were literally pink before our eyes and said: «these are completely cooked, sir, there’s nothing we can do about it. Sorry.» ??? My dumplings are literally uncooked and you’re sorry you can’t microwave it for another 5 seconds? Our first visit a while ago was so disappointing but we wanted to give it another try but obviously, it was another massive fail. Don’t go here — you have better things to spend your money on.

I have eaten here only a few times. With the appetizer part of their lunch special they could offer a little more of the appetizer. I usually get the drunken noodle as an entrée. On a whole it is quite delicious, with the exception of the meat which I picked out and put to the side. Next day leftovers were so good. Once I made the mistake of ordering the bbq’d pork soup. It arrived in a huge broth filled bowl. The pork was inedible. I gave my husband a slice and he tried so hard to prove me wrong. He chewed and chewed finally he used a napkin and gave up. The broth had no flavor and had an off putting odor. I added some soy sauce, just a touch. It helped but the broth smelled like moldy socks. A waitress did ask how our meal was and when I told her she put her head down smelled my food and told me it smelled right. We moved the bowl away and I share my husband’s meal. I am sticking with the drunken noodle and the Lad Nar which also needed a touch of soy sauce. This place is tiny and can get crowded. If the weather is nice I strongly recommend eating outside. During its busy time there is no room in there. It is very difficult to enjoy a meal when there are several people standing next to you and behind you waiting either to be seated or to pick up their meal to go. I have found that when eating in one is served more than if it is to go or delivered. Their teas are fantastic. I often stop in just for a tea. My beverage choice for the movies across the street(shhh. Our secret) they need to bring back the grapefruit tea. The sealer for their tea has been broken for several months so they do not have the sealed cover that one pops the straw through. They also only serve medium no longer is large an option. The bubble tea aka boba(large tapioca pearls) is my guilty pleasure.

I hate to give this place a bad review since I was the one who actually built it. All my hard work seems to have gone to waste. The service here is beyond reproach, and the food is akin what I imagine would be homeless shelter food. Management, where are you?

The food is average here but service is very very poor. I was ordering on the phone and asked for my total bill, the lady cursed me and asked why the F… I wanted the total when the bill will come to my house. Super rude… Extremely disappointed at their service. I will never order from this place, average food and bad service.

My new favorate place. The restaurant is small and somehow was cold when I came but that is not a big deal because the food is surprisingly good. We ordered chicken curry puffs, shumai, and classic phở. Shumai’s were big and curry puffs were hot. Phở is good. Price is reasonable. However, staffs and waitresses should be more attentive or the customers will feel like abandoned and ignored. Sum up, food is good, service is terrible.

I went here based on a recommendation from a friend as well as seeking out a good ramen place nearby. My mother and I asked a few questions about the difference between a few of the ramen options, to which the waitresses gave us nasty looks and attitudes and said they were basically the same. Which doesn’t seem to make any sense… They also gave us an attitude when we asked for hot bubble tea. Mine was luke warm at most. We ordered fried tofu as an appetizer as we love age tofu and it was so bad. The skin was chewy instead of crunchy and the consistency was not right. The ramen I ordered tasted like packaged ramen noodles floating in watered down tasteless broth. The vegetables seemed to be out of a frozen vegetable packet I could buy myself. Needless to say, the soup was awful. My mother ordered the Pad Thai and said it was the worst one she has ever had and tasted a bit sour. The customer service was even worse than the food. The waitresses would not ever come over to our table. In addition they were yelling across the room to each other — a room full of customers. A bit after that, one broke a plate and they were all fighting and bickering at the loudest possible level. We paid the check and left, without any goodbye or thank you given from their end. I will not go back here and do not recommend this place. You’re better off making your own instant ramen.

The food here was gross. Everything had this strange tasting flavor as if they cooked with last week’s oil. tasted like ass, I couldn’t finish. I’m traumatized. The distaste lingered in my mouth for hrs after I left, will never eat here agian. *Dumplings are shit

I used to come here a lot. But the service is too slow, way too slow for me. Had to wait 1h at lunch for their lunch special. Noodles are supposed to cook quickly right?

So this is my first time here and I have to say I’m impressed! They’re shrimp wonton soup is delicious, the dumpling skin is thin and soft which is the way I like it, where many places make a very thick wonton. The hint of shrimp also makes the soup much tastier than a regular wonton soup. I was tempted to try the ramen and their noodles however I wasn’t that hungry and being that it was lunch I wasn’t trying to go too heavy! So instead I ordered one of my favorite things, SOUPDUMPLINGS! The pork and crab, they were a tad salty but I didn’t mind because I love salty. Overall this place is somewhere that I will come back to. I can’t wait to try more items on this menu. The service was great there was no wait to be seated and my food came fast and the waitress was polite. Not to mention their choice of music was on point!!!

I’ve been eating here since they opened. I did not grow up in Southeast Asia but have been there and traveled throughout and FYI the street food in Thailand is not only safe but some of the best to be found! The food at Noodle is inexpensive by most standards and not exactly the same as being in Thailand but really people… We are in White Plains NY… It is good compared to any other I’ve eaten in the USA, East Coast to West, North to South. My personal favorite is the Soup Buns and they are simply BRILLIANT!!! If anyone can tell me where to find a better soup bun I want to hear it! My wife and kids love the Pad Thai and the staff are friendly. It’s small and often hard to get a table if you are headed there at standard dinning times but never been disappointed with the food or service. Love the bubble teas too!!!

Went for lunch with a few of my co-workers, the place have outside area but unfortunately it was raining that day for that reason we sat inside. We share a order of Shrimp Roll and Dumplings. The Shrimp Roll is a deep-fried rolls stuffed with shrimp and served with sweet chili sauce. They were really, really good. Chicken & Vegetable Dumplings: Filled with a mixture of ground chicken, vegetable, scallion and ginger, served with a special dipping sauce for dipping. I love dumplings, I just can eat 20 of them. For my entrée I order from the lunch special for 8.95 that include: One drink: Bottle of water or soda or Thai ice tea One Small dish: 2 Spring rolls or 2 fried dumplings or 2 shumais or 1 curry puff One entrée: Chicken or Beef or Tofu & Vegetable. And one of this disk: Minced Chicken Basil or Ginger Chicken or Pad Thai or Drunken Noodle or Chicken Noodle Soup or Wonton Noodle Soup or Green Curry or Yellow Curry or Fried Rice or Thai Spicy Basil. My chooses were: the soda that was kind of flat, the 2 friend dumplings that were good, the chicken and fried rice that had a good taste. .

NOTGOOD. Moved to the area recently, and was excited to find a convenient little spot for our asian food cravings(whenever we didn’t feel like cooking at home.) Food was mediocre/plain/really nothing special. Might’ve considered coming back for a quick meal or bubble tea in the future until we found the service to be AWFUL. Ordered Soup Dumplings, Drunken Noodles, and my fiancé ordered some duck-noodle soup dish I can’t remember the name of. Nothing was notable, and my drunken noodles were weirdly sour-tasting. Did NOT have the right seasoning to resemble Thai Drunken Noodles, so my tastebuds were a bit baffled. However, I should’ve known better than to expect any better in a ‘fusion’ restaurant.(I was craving Thai so much that night, I was willing to take the risk.) In any case, the reason we will not be coming back EVER is that our waitress was inattentive to the point she seemed to have one foot out the door. It was approaching closing time, and it looked like her boyfriend was there to pick her up.(We know this because she spent more time talking and making eye contact with HIM than with us, the CUSTOMERS.) She never checked on us to see how we were doing, and consequently, it took FOREVER for us to get the attention of someone ELSE for a spoon so my fiancé could eat his soup.(HELLO, how do you eat noodle SOUP without a SPOON?!)

Just had lunch there today(5⁄12) — This place is average, but eh — consider other options due to some strange pricing practices. In fully disclosure, I grew up in South East Asia — while standards are different — their offering is what I grew up with. This review is about their Food and Pricing practices. Food; I ordered the lunch special, pad thai, spring rolls. i found the portion size, for lunch, more than adequate. Taste, however, was disappointing. the pad thai was sweet and lumpy — rather bland on taste. The spring rolls were disappointing, tasteless at best. I had a piece of my friend’s shu mai dumplings — this was better, still rather bland — but the better of our two appetizer options. Pricing: at about $ 9 for the lunch special — this place is a great value. What ruined it for me is the strange way the charge for beverages. Here is the story: I arrived earlier than my lunch date and ordered a thai iced tea(as I waited) since it was part of the lunch special menu. At the end of lunch, I had 2 iced teas and my date had 1. I expected to pay for 2 lunch specials and 1 additional iced tea. They charged me for 2 iced teas and 2 lunch specials. — essentially 4 iced teas. When I inquired, the woman working there mentioned that if she would have known that we were going to order the lunch special — we would have been given ‘smaller’ iced teas. So she did us a favor and only charged for 2 iced teas on top of what the lunch special offered. Perhaps disclose this as you hand me the bill and not wait for me to ask? REALLY? The food is, at best, mediocre — there are better options around. What crushes it for me is poor business practices, as I have experienced.

Dont get me wrong. the food was amazing. I absolutely love this place for soups and dumplings. However, the service I received was less than adequate. My server did not have proper knowledge of the Menu.(ok maybe she is new) She repeatedly walked away as I tried to order.(maybe she had to abruptly attend to other tables). Then she repeatedly interrupted my date by telling me something is wrong with my card.(maybe it declined?) No! She is furious because she did not receive a tip. She told me I should had order takeout. How rude! Why am I being harassed for a tip? Wrost customer service ever.

Okay so today was the first day I ever ventured to Noodle Plus and let me tell you… I was shocked. First of all I heard soooo many mixed reviews about this place so I was skeptical but I also really wanted pork buns and couldn’t leave my office, so naturally I ordered pork buns from them despite the rumors and boy they were delicious and totally 100% hit the spot. Definitely planning on going back for more soon! I can’t speak for anything else on the menu, but I know a few people in my building get the soup and pad tai. Anyhow, pork buns make the best hungover/feel good food and I am so happy I can get a good one not too far away from where I live! (P.S. I am only giving it a 3 because I haven’t had anything else — Pork Buns are a total 5 though)! ***** Okay so I ordered pork buns today for lunch and they were definitely not the same buns I ordered the last time. So i need to find out exactly what I ordered and will revise my review! Nevertheless, whatever I had included some scallion and it was like a bbq pork — the pork buns I had today were super gross, and the sauce was nothing special at all.

Bit of a Noodle– unfortunately. It’s a neat little spot, though a bit claustrophobic, and uncomfortable with a group of people waiting to be seated right behind you as you eat. Service was fine for us, but I did notice the table next to us having some issues, including not getting an ordered beverage for our entire time next to them. As for food, we got the dumpling combo, which was okay, some we’re a bit chewy. Thai iced tea/coffee were good, but that should be harder to mess up :) we tried the roasted duck and BBQ pork w/wontons noodle soup; this was unfortunately a big let down. The broth was flavorless, the noodles were overdone, the pork was very tough, and the duck was more bone than meat… Reviews for this place are pretty inconsistent, I’ll give them one more shot, and try to order something that I know should have some flavor… won’t get my hopes up though.

Space is tight at Noodle+. It’s not a place for cozy chit chat. It’s even tighter at peak hours on the weekends at ~6−7pm, with customers standing around waiting for an empty table all the while staring at you. Reasonably priced eats ~$ 10 for a large entrée. Noodle+ sways towards serving Thai and Chinese dishes. Poor service. For a small place with 6 – 8 tables, the 3 staff available to handle customers are not enough at peak evening hours. The constant phone ringing is an annoyance– either lower the volume or add more staff to avoid hanging calls. There’s also attitude among the staff. The oldest lady among their team was particularly unfriendly– challenging a customer upon an issue of confusion and snapping back at 2 students that they can’t have their check before their dessert arrived. Her favorite phrase is ‘hold one one minute.’ No one among their service team is smiling and a general aura of ‘I hate my job’ lingers around them. Recs: +xiao long bao or crab xiao long bao. Their skin is perfectly thick and the soup is decently flavored. ~$ 6 as an appetizer, it’s a steal given the amount of labor it takes to make them. Their plastic cups holding the vinegar dip annoys me though– money could be saved if they invested on ceramic holders from the beginning. +Roast Duck and Shrimp Wonton Soup– if you want something light Authentic? No. You have better bets with spices and flavoring in Queens or Flushing, but Noodle+ is decent enough in White Plains.
