Blaze Blaze Blaze ;) I don’t know why it took me so long to try this place. I was greeted when I walked in and was asked if this was my first time there. I said yes, so she was kind enough to break it down and explain to me how it works. You can order a pizza on their list or you can build one yourself(that’s what I did) she said I could put any toppings I wanted and as much as I wanted, for no additional cost! Sweet! There are variety of different sauces, and toppings to choose from, you won’t be disappointed! After you get everything on your pizza, they have a big fire oven to «blaze» your pizza lol. You pay at the end of the line where they also sell a few different beers. It didn’t take too long for it to come out. I was really impressed with it. Every bite was super tastey, I ate the whole thing by myself haha. Pizza is thin and with a thin crust. If you do not finish, they have boxes already set up to go, you just go and take how ever many you need. The employees come around every so often to make sure you are ok, and to take the trash from your table. I’ll be back to try the BBQ chicken pizza.

My review is a 5 plus for more reasons than their delicious pizzas. The first time I came here, I brought my mother, sister and kiddo. I am the first to admit I was a douche for coming 30 minutes before their closing time(I didn’t do it on purpose, I swear!) so when they told us they were out of carpentino tomatoes for my mom’s pizza, we weren’t upset about it because duh! it was the end of the day. So I was 100% blown away when the manager gave us all a free drink to make up for it. What?! We weren’t upset or complaining about it so he definitely didn’t have to do it. But he did. And He made my night with his awesome customer service. Now to the food, I usually get the BBQ pizza which is awesome. They have Sriracha sauce so damn! It’s bomb! My kiddo loves that he can customize his pizza so it makes it easy for the picky eaters. He also likes that they address him directly when he is ordering(unlike subway where they ask me when he clearly can speak for himself) so it’s a win with the mini me too. Employees will come up to your table to see if everything is ok and if you need anything. They remove your trays when you are done and overall they are all sorts of awesome. Great addition to Whittier area!

I had not come prepared to make so many decisions. But boy did I enjoy the outcome of my hodge-podge pizza. I enjoyed that for 8 bucks and change I could have any and all toppings I wanted. I ended up with spicy red sauce, Gorgonzola, fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, ham, red peppers, spinach. Mmmmm Will definitely go back, this time with a better plan of attack

Who would have thought the $ 3.14 special per pizza would lure us here for dinner. But that it did and we were welcomed despite having a group of 15 overly hyper baseball players. The concept of being able to build your very own pizza just the way you like it was a hit for our group of hungry boys and for is parents as well. The options are endless and they have something for all. Whether you’re gluten free or vegan, Yeaup they have something for you. Sorry you low carb dieters but no nothing for you, unless you want a bunch of fresh veggies then yes you’ll find that here. The service was wonderful and the wait not long at all. Our timing was perfect as well because the place got really busy. Don’t be intimidated by the line because it does move fast. As an added bonus the employees’ we’re all great and patient with out group of boys.

This place is the best! I have a shop a block away and I come here for my food. The staff is super friendly and are always greeting everyone as they walk in. I use to order domino’s and pizza Hut but no more! This is my new place to come for pizza! Thank you for opening a location in Whittier!

As far as quick and easy pizza chains go, this one is tops with me. The employees are mighty friendly and always ask how the day has been going. The dining and prep areas are clean and food is consistent, which is super important and they really seem to get it here. I almost always opt for the spicy sauce and a ton of toppings, but with the endless options for customization, there will definitely be something for everyone here. I also hear they are applying for their license to sling beer and wine, which will make for an even better blazing good time!

The build-your-own pizza craze has seriously caught fire in the past year or so. Now I had never heard of Blaze until this little place popped up just a few short months ago. Now, I’ve been to other BYOP places before, and I have my favorites, but I must say that Blaze is, simply put, good pizza. Unlike other places, Blaze keeps it simple with the crust. You either get the standard pie crust or the gluten-free for those who need to swing that way. Nothing fancy here, which is absolutely fine. Now when you start to top it, that’s when you let your creative juices fly. Let’s just say that having the option of a variety of sauces and cheeses at your disposal is awesome. It’s not everyday that I see ricotta and goat cheese as options. Then you get to your meats and non-meats. There is PLENTY to choose from. And when you are building your own pie, you can go as safe or as crazy as you want. The ingredients are of decent quality. I had no issues with any of the ingredient choices whatsoever. From the meats to the veggies. Nothing disappointed. Then, you get to the fast-fire cooking. And this is where I think Blaze gets it right. The thin crispy crust is totally on point. Cooking the pizza directly on the super hot oven gives the bottom that much needed crisp-factor. The one thing that irks me about the other places is that the pizza is still flimsy, especially in the center. Not here. Wonderful, perfection served here. Yeah, it might have a little char on it, but that just makes it even more awesome. It was wonderful. The people are nice and make sure you get what you want. At least on my inaugural visit, they made sure that I got what I wanted, and in the quantity I wanted. The décor and environment is nice, clean and modern without feeling cookie cutter and stale. Overall, Blaze, as of right now, is my top choice for build-your-own quick serve pizza. It doesn’t disappoint and will satisfy even the snootiest of pizza snobs. Well done, Blaze.

This is our first time here. Parking here was a little busy but I was able to find a couple open spots near this place. Came here on a Saturday evening. No wait to order! I was greeted by a nice and friendly young lady. I ordered a half«Meat Lover» and half«BBQ Chicken» pizza. I saw beer and wine on the menu, but«Rocky» said they do not have the permit yet. He asked what kind of red wine I recommended. I forgot which red wine I typically drink. After eating the deliciously tasting pizza, I remembered that it is a Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from Napa Valley. The pizza came out of the oven in a little over minute. There was plenty of seating available. Overall, I had a great experience eating here and we will be back. Looking forward to drinking beer or wine with my pizza here.

This is mine first time here and trying the build your own pizza craze. So I can’t judge it off the ours out there. Customer service was great, the staff was very friendly. I had a little trouble hearing them but nothing to crazy. I ordered their Meat Eater Pizza which has pepperoni, crumbled meatballs, red onion, mozzarella, red sauce. The dough is thin and crispy. My girlfriend got the Build your Own which she chose to put pesto sauce on the bottom instead of your traditional red sauce, smoked ham, pepperoni, spinach(tons), mushrooms and pineapple. I think her pizza was actually better then mine. We also had their Blood Orange Lemonade which was really good, I mos def recommend it.

Blaze is one of my favorite create your own pizza chains and they seem to be doing very well and expanding all over. Staff here was great, for only being open a month or so they already have the entire process down, even when there are crowds. Our pizza was fantastic, as well as the salad that i got along with it. Prices are more than fair, you can’t beat $ 8 for a 10 inch pizza with as many toppings as you like. The space is clean and well maintained, plenty of seating. Welcome to the area!

Shortest line for free pizza day past Saturday. Waited maybe 15 minutes or less. Now, even though they lost our«Make Your Own» pizza(Because on the paper, it doesn’t say what type of pizza you have) and waited 15 minutes on that day. We were taken care of by Erik as he was able to make me a pizza on the fly for me for that lost pizza. Can’t complaint! Personally, I like to finish off my own pizza with some Arugula or the Pesto drizzle. The lemonade here and the smores pie, even though it’s $ 2 a pop is rediculously good! This I believe used to be the old Rubios. It’s a bit hard to see this place in the Quad going Eastbound but it’s right next to Yogurtland. Next opening will be in Cerritos next month in December!
