I was nice enough to give 1 star because I did like the frozen yogurt I ate. However the service was awful! Had I not already filled my cup, I would not have gotten anything. The middle aged lady was in back when we came in. She did not come out to greet us and when I asked finally for assistance, she came out but remaind on the phone engaged in her conversation. She remained on it, without a pause, until we had paid and left the store. I felt like I was intruding and not like a customer. NEVER be back!

So, visited Whittier at the beginning of April, after almost a year gone… the lady still remembered me! How sweet… but they don’t have frozen yogurt anymore. :(Well, I got a boba drink, which was fine. It was nice to see it still around though…

just a college student trying to get her asian tapioca fix on. i’ve tried café delight for the first time today. and let me tell you. it was not that good. since its location is in whittier – a place not known for having asian desserts or anything really asian – i was really skeptical how legit their desserts were. i’ve passed by this place before but i had never been inside the place til today. their menu is really limited and kinda pricey for just tea, tapioca, smoothies, and other drinks along those lines. i asked if there was any almond milk tea tapioca(called boba), since i didn’t see it on the menu. the lady who owns the place asked if it was the«white one»(obviously people don’t really order that) and as she later mentioned that because it’s not a popular item they don’t bother putting it on the menu. so i drank the almond milk tea boba, which costs about $ 3.65 – pretty expensive for tapioca. it was frothy and mixed with ice. from my personal experience, almond tapioca is suppose to have a light sweet almond flavor to it but theirs was totally nonexistent! i wasn’t really satisfied. their tapioca was alright though. i can’t really give much feedback on the other drinks though, being as it was my first time there. like i said, i was just there to get my tapioca fix. café delight takes credit card(master card and visa), btw. lesson: there’s a reason why whittier isn’t known for its asian desserts, and there are much better, cheaper places to get your tapioca fix.
