Xavier is dope af. He’ll teach you so much guitar stuff. Like hes v good at guitar and he will make u v good at guitar. hes super nice and stuff and can teach p much any people. Hes also super jacked so… what else do you need to hear.
No but seriously, Xavier is an excellent teacher who can work with almost everyone.

I began taking lessons with Javier in Aug. 2015 and I am really enjoying it. I am a novice player and for my first song, he taught me a Led Zep song (not the standard «Mary had a little lamb»), Over the Hills & Far Away. I didn’t know how to do the hammer pull and all that jazz but he was patient with me and I can now do the hammer pull, now if I could just make sound as smooth as he or Jimmy, then I’d really be doing good. I’ve taken lessons from other instructors (one from Whittier too) and Javier is the best. He will teach you whatever songs you want to learn and he is patient and moves at your pace. He does not make me feel bad if I didn’t practice as much during the week. Also, Javier has never been late to a lesson unlike some of my previous instructors. He is very knowledgeable and shares a lot of tips as well. If you are looking for a great musician who can teach music at your pace, please look up Javier. He teaches all genre (jazz, blues, metal, rock, R&B, you name it) on guitar and also teaches bass and ukulele. Plus his rates are the best that I have seen ($ 30/​hour lesson VS per half hour).

I’ve been taking lessons for a while now with Xavier. Great price, great teacher and great atmosphere. There’s nothing like deconstructing a song you thought was above your skill level and nailing it! Now if only I’d practice…

My son Vince took lessons with Xavier at the Santa Fe Springs center and just fell in love with the guitar thanks to him. After the group sessions ended, my son asked to take private lessons with Xavier. I like the fact his prices for classes were affordable and so very much worth it. He will focus and teach you music styles you actually want to learn, weather it be rock, classical, blues, etc. My son is enjoying his classes very much and always looks forward to going to his lessons. Xavier is a great guy and has lots of patiences to teach as well.

My son has been going to Javier for about 7 months. His sessions are 1 on 1, no one else. Javier is a studio musician and has been playing guitar for over 40 years, he has a keen way of connecting with his students and enables them to easily understand a difficult task of learning the guitar. His lessons are an hour long and are $ 30 .
