Don’t waste your time, walked in, 3 people waiting in line. I waited for an hour and a half and never got a haircut. Hipster ass barbers. I watched for over and hour give one customer a shave. Retarded. seriously don’t waste your time.

Overall best haircut ever. I brought my son(4 year old) on Monday and Troy helped us out he actually was suppose to cut my sons hair but he referred me over to the gentleman next to him sorry I forgot his name. But he explained to my husband and I how his shape of his head to the best hair cut he recommends because I wanted that cow lick he has at t be top of his head which is where he has a spiral. Long story short he did an amazing job!!! What barber do you know will take his time and explain why certain haircuts don’t work to the shape of the head. I loved it so now this will be my go to barber shop to bring my son.

Don’t waste your time or money. These dudes are old and grumpy. I literally witnessed the sloppy, old, bald dude hang up on a potential customer bc he asked one too many questions. I got up and walked out, because I refuse to give my money to businesses that don’t appreciate their patrons. Do the right thing and go to tip-top or friendly hills barber.

Unless you have nowhere to be, this is your place. The wait is over an hour during the week. Weekends you might as well camp out.

So I just got my monthly haircut from Troy at Uptown Barbers this morning. As I sat there watching«O Brother Where Art Thou» and customers walked in, all three barbers half-heartily greeted them in a cynical manner. Troy explained that someone gave them a bad review on Unilocal because they weren’t greeted properly upon arriving. Well, whoever you are out there, I hope you found another barber shop to go to! This place gets packed, and the wait can sometimes be long. Yes, I hate waiting but that’s where pre-planning comes in. Some people have become so soft-hearted and weak that they need affirmation. Suck it the fuck up! I’ve been coming to this place for a few years and feel I have a connection to it. It’s old school and I like that. They may throw some harsh language at times and that’s why it’s my choice in barbers. I’ve even taken my wife and kids, have seen other families there, and it doesn’t change the tone or atmosphere at all. Boys, when I come in for my next haircut, please ignore me, or better yet, tell me to go fuck myself! I’ll appreciate that much more. HAJI

Walked in for the first time and there were three barbers at which none of them greeted me. Sat down with like 6 people waiting and the barbers cut hair like there were in slow motion, one barber kept looking at his phone texting like a teenagerAsked one of the customers waiting how long is the wait and he said like an hour and half. I walked out, screw that won’t give my money to some guys that don’t even acknowledge their customers

I’ve been going here since 2010. Some barbers have come and gone, but each one has always been quality! Troy has been my guy for years! PROTIP: Be ready for a wait, almost always at least an hour.

Bad day… Wait my turn ask for a simple cut medium fade side part come out looking like 2 face. One side high no fade and all hair gone and other side perfect. Have to figure out what to do now. Forgot I mention my wedding is In 2 days…

I’ve been coming here for years now. It has been getting more and more popular every time I come. Expect to give up a couple hours of your day. There are no appointments, just walk-ins so it’s the luck of the draw. But, they do great work and it’s a cool environment to be around. Always joking around and stuff. Never seen one person complain about their haircut they got here. There is only one barber I see. Troy… He does great work and is worth the wait!!! As long as he’s around… This is my barbershop

I have been looking for a new place to cut my hair and I wanted to find a barber shop with an old school feel to it, and I found it. I’ve heard about this place from friends and have seen it but never stopped in for a cut till today. As I walked in I seen that there were only 2 barbers and 5 people waiting in front of me so I took a seat and waited. That would be the only down side to this barber shop, the wait but it was well worth it. They had two TV’s on and at the time Captain America was playing. I sat there looking around at all the cool décor they had up on the wall and before you knew it, it was my time to get a cut. I sat in Victor’s chair and he took a look at my hair style and knew exactly what I wanted. He went over with me what he was going to do and it was exactly what I wanted. As he started to cut my hair I asked if they do beards as well and he said«yes we are an old school barber shop» so I got my beard trimmed and lined up. As my hair was being cut we started having conversation and the time flew by. I could not be happier with my haircut. This was the place I have been looking for and I will definitely be going back and making this my regular barbershop. The barbers were very professional, very detailed and focused on their clients. If you are looking for a nice clean haircut this is your place.

I was fooled by the name and décor. Just because you look the part might not always mean you are. I was helped by the older gentleman in the middle chair. Fade was too high and he took too much off the top when I said, «just clean it up». He butchered me. Haircut was crooked and to top it off I had to hear the barber’s talk bad about their own customers. He cut me twice and said it was because of a new blade, didn’t know that was an industry issue(sarcasm).

My son went in with a tremendous amount of hair and Mike was able to make it look awesome. I also only showed him a picture of what he wanted his hair to look like it and he re-created it perfectly. I’m beyond impressed with Mike. The only downfall is the long wait time.

Great Barbershop! Long ass line but if you love a clean taper and beard trim it’s mos def worth the wait. My go to Barber is Tod he’s consistently good. O yeah just ignore Troy he’s annoying. Some people talk just because they can.

There’s always at least a slight apprehension when walking into an unfamiliar barbershop for the first time. It’s safe to say that my fear of a new barber not achieving what I came in for was conquered within the first 5 minutes of sitting down. CARLOS cut my hair to perfection and made sure I was pleased with what we agreed upon every step of the way.(mid-low fade, slick sides combed to rear to form a perfect DA, and a side part– high pomp) Good conversation, shot the shit about alien conspiracies and daily life shenanigans. Uptown Barbers accomplishes everything you would hope for in a barber shop and more. The cherry on top? CARLOS uses Layrite pomade. Get there when they first open(preferably during the week) and the complaints about a long wait will be irrelevant.

Uptown Barbers is definitely a good spot for a clean cut. Only problem is the wait time. If anything at all, this was the reason why I haven’t been to Uptown Barbers in a while. But in regards the quality, it’s excellent. Gabe and Todd are my guys there. Dudes need an ATM machine there doe!

Used to love this place and even took my 2 kids with me most of the time just to hear the discussions and the dudes BS like a normal barber shop. Todd is the MAN, and always does a great job on my hair; for Todd I want to give 5 stars. Recently, though, the lines have become WAY too long(2+ hours), and there has been an empty chair for months! I am no business man, but wouldn’t it make sense to add another barber? It seems like they would be losing money by all the times I have peeked in and left because it is too damn crowded! Also, one of the barbers, won’t say his name, is CONSTANTLY talking shit to customers, talking trash about poor people or local people. It bugs me and others as well as I’ve witnessed 3 people walk out after having a verbal«discussion» with him. I am a pretty good tipper, and always walk in with 3 heads to cut, but will not return unless something changes to make the wait less, and the hurtful sh! t talking kept to a minimum.
