KFC

First off I want to say the food is fine. The one star is for the terrible customer service at this place.
Every time I come to this place the employees have so much attitude. There is one in particular who is always rude. A older Mexican man who I believe is the manager. I pulled up to the drive through one day and was greeted with, «what do you want» by this guy. First thought was to say something back to this guy but I figured he must be having a bad day, or maybe customers have been giving him hard time since he is working in fast food. So I just let it go and TRIED to order. The menu there is all over the place so I was having a hard time picking what I wanted. I asked him to give me a second. This guy waited about 10 seconds then once again said, «what do you want.» I asked him about a combo and he couldn’t explain what it was and made me even more confused. Then he starts trying to rush me to hurry up and pick. Mind you there were no cars behind me the entire time! I finally pick my order with no help from the this guy and pull up to pay. He starts handing me my drinks (three of them) one by one. I look at him like where is my cup holder? My wife came here before and told me that they didn’t want to give her a cup holder also before. I then go on to ask for a cup holder and this guy gives me a dirty look like I shouldn’t be asking for a cup holder. Are you serious right now? It is common sense I have three drinks! He then grabs the cup holder like he is pissed off for me asking then hands it to me like I should feel bad for asking. Why is this guy so stingy with cup holders? He is not paying for them.
Well, like I said, I thought he was just having a bad day but I was wrong. When ever I go there this happens all the time. The dude is always pissed off, always trying to rush you to order and has no customer service skills. He does not know how to speak to people. You are expected to be greeted when you pull up to a place to grab some food. Not be spoken to like your business is not wanted there. Seriously though, what fast food place have you ever been to and they greet you with, «what do you want» every time. Do not believe me? Go there yourself and see. While you’re at it, ask for the precious cup holder this guy so adores and see how that goes. The sad thing is that this guys attitude has rubbed off onto his coworkers. They act the exact same way. Not as much as he does but you will notice it.

The only reason I keep going back there is because I have never had a bad experience with the food. If I could I would give the customer service zero stars on this review.

DO NOT use your debit card or credit card in the drive-​thru! An employee there is committing credit card fraud.

They are open until 10pm, except today? What the heck. My boyfriend and I just pulled up to the drive through fifteen minutes before closing and I guess they decided to close early. I saw an employee hanging out around back but he went inside when he saw us. Such a pain in the butt to deal with after work.

The food is great. The service inside and drive-​thru just sucks at this location. Not a simple «hi, how are you» or «have a good day.» There’s no normal common curtesy with serval employees here.

I’m a real stickler when it comes to customer service. With that being said I don’t appreciate being interrupted while ordering my food. I will not return to this establishment.

Let’s see where to start. We Waited about 25 minutes total. Not bad if we would have ordered at a sit down restaurant, but since we were in the drive thru i expected it to be a little quicker. And Yes i timed it.
The girl at the window seemed unapologetic for the wait. I guess she thought we’d be grateful if she told us we were going to have to wait a little longer for our food. Normally i would have left but we had already waited about 5 minutes after placing the order, and another 2 minutes for her to come to the window to acknowledge us. It was just a really bad experience with no sympathy or empathy.
I guess it’s my fault for wanting to have some fast food fried chicken. Should’ve known better.

Came in today 6÷12÷15 at 830 pm to find the doors lock but the sign says they close at 9 pm I’ve lived in Whittier for 19 yrs and this is my 2 nd time here, usually I drive to ELA for chicken just to get the deals advertise on TV this place never gives the deals a customer in line was arguing with the cashier I told him its not the staffs fault that’s why they don’t have much business here. I really think corporate should by this place back. o ya I only came in for couple of pieces of chicken The food is good but the owners suck for leaving these people alone to deal with the crap they get from the customers asking why they are not getting what’s advertising on TV.

I went through the drive thru ordered a small mash potatoes and 5 piece hot wings which were stale and they tasted old, they weren’t hot and neither were my mash potatoes I will not be going here again

Kentucky fried chicken gets three stars because the chicken is always good always hot always the same from coast-​to-​coast my dad gives them also three stars just based on the biscuits they are always delicious coleslaw’s never changing I’ve had Kentucky fried chicken all across United States on road trips and it’s always consistent you can always count on it being the same good job guys

Worst KFC ever. they use the skinniest most tasteless chicken they can buy. usually slow disinterested service. I had given up on KFC until a coworker convinced me to try another store. since then I have eaten at KFC’s all over the country and most of them are good. but the one closest to my house stinks.

Yes there have been times the chicken was rubbery. But overall it has been very good and we go there about once a month. The staff is friendly. One time they had just started a new batch of extra crispy so I could either wait or get regular, I chose to wait and while I was waiting I was offered a small soda since I had to wait, I thought that was a nice gesture. They have wifi (though it may not be working now). They also let you use a coupon and then keep it to use again, maybe its not so much a coupon as a «current deal» sort of thing. Anyway overall have been happy with the food and service.

service was cool, but the chicken is just bad. something is way off there I went twice and the chicken was horrible both times. taste like the oil was old, not fresh and the cookie was hard

It literally took 15 mins for them to take our order. I was the 1^st customer in line.

KFC on Whittier blvd let us down. The boneless chicken was old or reheated and dry. Come on you guys!

Fried chicken options in Whittier are very limited. I got a wild hair up my ass the other day and started wanting fried chicken. Being that no place in whittier sells fried chicken other then KFC i knew my choices were limited. I searched on Unilocal for a place other then KFC to get the chicken and came up empty handed. Yes, I know that Chicken Box in La Habra is not far from me but that is not traditional fried chicken that I wanted.
I hadnt been to a KFC in years as I dont eat that kind of crap anymore and knew that the quality would be pretty low, but I wanted fried chicken so bad I just said the hell with it and came here. I got a 2 piece leg and thigh combo, which came with 2 sides and a biscuit.
All I can say is KFC is what I expected. Bad fried chicken that killed my craving. The biscuit was good though.

I don’t often leave hit and run reviews, but honestly this KFC ruins whatever positive feelings I had about KFC. Every time I come here, the chicken is always stale. On top of that, the mashed potatoes I just got had a layer of scalded gravy caked on the top, with chunky almost jelly-​like gravy around the sides, and served at a temperature I am pretty sure was hotter than the sun. The macaroni and cheese, which I had to get because they don’t serve potato salad anymore and I couldn’t think of anything better, was basically tepid, which struck me as odd considering the mashed potatoes were fiery hot. And the chicken, of course, seemed stale: hard in most places, chewy in others.
The last time I had a positive dining experience at this KFC was about 3 years ago. I keep coming back because it’s around the corner from my house, and each time I hope it’s different, but it’s not. Based on the looks the kids inside were giving me, I kind of got the feeling that I was going to get bad food. I used to work in fast food as a kid, so I know those kind of looks. It says, «Look at this poor sucker, buying this food we’ve let sit far past its time, but it’s not our problem, the boss says to do it this way, and if we did it any differently we wouldn’t have the time to dick around like we enjoy doing, so, whatever.»
I hope that I’ve finally learnt my lesson. A recent remodel can’t cover up the fact that this KFC is the worst I’ve ever been to. If KFC wants to clean up their act and revitalize their brand, they need to start where the problem lies: their terrible franchises. Someone needs to do something.

Driving back from the gym I noticed the banner advertising the special at this KFC. What’s nice about this location is the drive thru and I was able to place my order and be on my way within minutes.
½ original ½ crispy chicken please! The chicken, beans, Cole slaw and mashed potatoes were all freshly made and tasty.
I don’t eat at KFC often but this meal really hit the spot and was so convenient. If I’m craving the Colonel’s food I’ll return here for sure.

KFC’s going to be KFC… this one happens to be my neighborhood KFC and it’s pretty damn good :)
I got some coupons in the mail for a buy one get one free combo meal. I arrived there, coupon in hand and a drooling mouth ready to order. To my disdain the coupon wasn’t in force yet… I was 4 days early! BLAH!!! I was down on myeslf because I wouldn’t have otherwise gone to KFC if it wasn’t for the coupon. I was flustered – BUT!!! BUT!!! To the rescue came the manager who said «NO PROBLEM FAIR SIR!!! Go ahead and use it!!»
WAHOO!!! 5 minutes later I was enjoying my 2 extra crispy leg and thigh along w/​wedges and a biscuit… WINNER.
If you’re looking for a relaxed fast food restaurant that won’t run things PRECISELY by the book for the sake of customer service then this KFC is for you.
Typical 3 star KFC w/​a +1 star bonus for customer service that is apparently dead now in the fast food industry.

Fried chicken at its very goodness. Had me some fried chicken, some of there delishes cole slaw, and some mashed potaters… All very good. Chicken a little greasy for my taste, but over all good.
There potatoe wedges are actually pretty good, and crispy when you bite into them.
Biscuits, oh fluffy goodness. butter and some honey. mmmmm
Restaurant itself is kinda small. It has a drive thru. Clean on the inside, and inside there is a bench with a life size colonel Sanders on it. I was tempted to take a pic with it. Next time i think i just might :)
