I work across the street from this subway, I was starving and want to eat my favorite sandwich from subway, so when I walked in I waited for 10 min an then a lady showed up and said how can I help you, itold her can I get a foot long of the 9 grain honey out, she was like I’m sorry we only have white bread!!! I was surprised and I walk out to the Chinese place next door! So they need me to eat what ever they have. The restaurant is not even clean the workers there not friendly, I asked the guy who work there whats your name so I can review on Unilocal he was like(subway)! They don’t even have a name tags there and when I asked him why you guys don’t have bread he was like we are busy man!!! Worst location ever don’t go there.

Extremely terrible service, so bad I created an account just to write this review, the manager apart from being rude was extremely stingy with the veggies, I asked for bell peppers I got 4 tiny pieces, when I asked for more she gave me a dirty look and proceeded to only add 2 more pieces I gave up on asking for more. This was in the morning and was a breakfast sandwich and before 11 you get a free coffee, at all the other subways they will tell you if you’d like your coffee but this lady charged me and looked like she was hoping I wouldn’t ask for coffee. When I did ask for the coffee she again gave a dirty look like I had just insulted her by asking for my coffee, it’s not the first time I’ve had bad experience with this subway just finally got annoyed and wrote a review, if possible avoid this subway I tend to unless when in a rush

Just wanted to commend 2 workers there that helped me out in a bind. Alicia(very sweet and helpful) and Bridget(seemed like a shift leader needed some convincing) were very helpful and accommodating last minute when I walked in and needed a sandwich platter created in a hurry. Normally more of a notice is required to prepare these but I got lucky when I walked in, the store was very slow on a Wednesday around 4:30pm and Alicia was more than willing to explain to Bridget what I needed. After some thought, they were able to create a wonderful party platter for me in about 15 mins! This really saved me :) thank you ladies, you did a great job. Happy customer here.

I wish I could give ZERO stars!!! This place is terrible(mostly because of one employee). First BAD experience: I had a free 6 inch coupon with a purchase of a drink. The employee, Vanessa Rodriguez(it’s probably not her real name, she said she was the manager), made my Turkey Italanio Melt WRONG! She saw I had a coupon and put 2 salamis, 2 pepperonis, and 1 turkey when it is supposed to come with 3 salamis, 3 pepperonis, and 2 turkey meats! When I pointed it out, she said«No, that’s how it is.» I dropped it. When it came time for condiments and toppings, I asked for mayo and extra pickles only(I LOVE pickles!) She give me 4 pickles in my whole sandwich! FOURPICKLES!?! When I asked for more, she said she already gave me too many and I should really only be getting 3. I pointed out that I did not get any other toppings and she reluctantly put a bit extra after arguing. I also had two free cookies. She came over to the register instead of continuing to make sandwiches(there was a long line) and was getting upset arguing with Jacob(the register employee) about accepting my coupons. Fine, if you can’t/won’t take them, just tell me. She didn’t have to make a scene about using my coupons. Jacob allows me to use them. As I fill up my drink, she shouts across from her work station, «You work at Subway, don’t you?! That’s why you have your coupons! You work there!» I politely respond that I did not work at subway(I really do not) and she continues shouting, «Yeah, you say no because you’ll get in trouble!» I thought, maybe she’s just having an awful day and leave without any other interaction. Second TERRIBLE experience: I walk in(ready to use a coupon) and I feel relieved to not see that awful employee from before. As the employee begins to make my sandwich, «Vanessa» comes out. She instructs the employee to stop making my sandwich because I have a coupon! I could not believe it! She said I used too many and she already allowed me to use them my previous visit. I ask for her name since it was not visible on her name tag. She gives me a first name, then changes her name to Vanessa Rodriguez. She tells me to get out and not come back if I am going to be using coupons. I read my coupons, it says one per customer per visit. I didn’t break any coupon rules. I ask to speak to the manager and she said that she was the manager. Wonderful. She continued to say that she called and reported me to the owner the last time I went in… for using coupons. I could not believe this terrible experience. I eat out frequently, and as a broke grad student, use coupons very often. How do you not accept my coupons when they are mailed out almost every week?! I have NEVER been treated so rudely at a restaurant. I will never be coming to this Subway again. I recommend it to no one! The one on Norwalk and Beverly is MUCH friendlier and not stingy with toppings!

No stars! Free coffee with a sandwich purchase before 11am, Nope!!! Not at this Subway! Extra pickles, she gave me three total! Steak for my sandwich was filled below the cup size. Come on now!!! Honor Subway for the reputation they have! Don’t be so fucken tight!

My fiancé and I came here this past weekend since we were from out of town and were looking from a quick bite. This location was located on the same street as our hotel so it was convenient for us. It’s located off of a main street, in a large plaza. This location was clean, however the employees are another deal. The girl who helped us, I think her name was Mirly? I dont know, something like that, I couldnt see her nametag clearly. Anyhow, «Mirly» was awful. Not only did this employee have a huge attitude, she was anything but friendly. Our sandwiches were made sloppy. When I asked her to put more spinach, she literally put 1 leaf of spinach… ONE. What in the world? A word of advice for the owner, tell your employees to smile and have them re-take their Subway online training classes. PLEASE.

Terrible service! Attitude with the cashier. I asked a question, she literally walked away when I was still asking her a question. Wow! Everyone saw that too. This place sucks! Not only did they rush the line, but they made crappy empty sandwiches. Never coming to this location again. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who’s in the area also.

I wish I could do a tenth of a star. I am furious with this store. I have never seen such a filthy, understaffed Subway ever. The girl who was making my sandwiches went to add avocado to one of them. She had a clean knife in her hand. She handed it to the other employee to use then picked up a DIRTYTUNACOVEREDKNIFE from the counter and started cutting avocado for the sandwich. I stopped her and asked her what she was doing. I told her my husband would get sick if there was tuna on his sandwich. You know what she did? She did NOT apologize or find a clean knife. Instead, she set the dirty knife back down on the counter, picked up ANOTHERDIRTYKNIFE and continued cutting the avocado. What is that? There are people who are deathly allergic to certain foods. How could someone be so filthy? All the condiments had other condiments in their trays. There were dirty knives all over the place. The counter where they make the sandwiches was filthy. This place was disgusting. I tried to call and speak to a manager. Called 4 times, every time rang for a minute then hung up. No manager on duty. No wonder the place is so filthy. I used to eat at Subway DAILY. I will no be doing that anymore. I honestly don’t know how that store keeps any business.

Pretty much the worst subway experience I’ve had thus far… Super skimpy on their servings, low staffed, not customer service oriented at all!!! Walked in and did not get a hello or welcome to subway(the service I normally get at my local subway on Whittier and Norwalk) we then waited way too long for having only having two people in front of us in line, all while experiencing a nasty smell. We kept trying to figure out what it was(since we had the time) but after guessing smelly cheese, expired food, or BO from one of the customers… we gave up on trying to figure it out. Anyways, back to our service– my boyfriend got a chicken breast sandwich and was not asked if the sandwich was to be toasted which is normally asked. He then asked for everything and was given skimpy portions of the veggies. I asked for a salad and asked for my toppings… when I asked for olives, I was given three! I asked for more only to receive a couple more. I asked for extra banana peppers and received what I considered a normal portion at my regular subway. I asked for more, and the sandwich maker(not artist) sighed an put a few more. At that point, I gave up asking for more. I asked for mustard, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to top it since I don’t normally get dressing and the guy gave me a small circle of mustard and drenched my salad in oil and vinegar and I mean DRENCHED. I was not pleased at all. I am not looking forward to eating this when I get home. If I wasn’t so hungry– I probably would have thrown the salad away. Disappointment.

If I could give this subway a ZERO I would! My main reason for creating a Unilocal account was to create a review for this place! I have never been so upset with the way a manager has handled a situation. I asked for more than the 4 olives that were put on my sandwich and the lady told me «no» no reason just a no! And when I asked to talk to the manager she was so extremely rude and said she’s just following the owners rules and would be fired if she put more than four olives on my sandwich! After threatening to walk out they added some more. I have never been so upset about stupid olives lol Do Not come to this subway !!

My wife and I used to come here UNTIL the owner took my order. I ask for olives in my sandwich and she only put 3 olives in my sandwich AND she literally count them. I asked her again for extra olives and she only adds 1. I asked her AGAIN for more and she put 3 more BUT she said I should only have 3 in my sandwich. I have gone to other subway’s & they have never told me how much veggies I SHOULD have on my sandwich. I told my wife what had happen and she didn’t believe me. My wife also went to this location the other day & the owner helped her as well. The same thing happen to her. My wife said that she literally putting very little veggies and she had to ask her again to put more veggies. The owner(AGAIN) was counting the veggies on her sandwich. I thought subways is all the veggies you get. guess not for this Subway.

I’ve been to this location twice in a one year period and it smelled both times. Like a humid musty smell. Most recently the sandwich«artist» tried cutting my sandwich with a used dirty knife and when I asked her to clean the knife she reached for a napkin. Gross. I had to ask her again to please clean the knife.

When u need ur cookie fix, u can get a whole dozen here for $ 5.00– good size ones too. While they may not be double tree cookies, they do their job. they even have a raspberry cheesecake looking one.

I have to agree with the review below me… the older lady that works there is RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! She is the main reason my bf and i stopped going to this subway. Oh and the fact that i once ordered a veggie delight and got a very bad case of food poisioning. Please avoid this subway if you can!
