I have been back a number of times since my last review and unfortunately it’s gotten worse. I used to go for the menudo, but the menudo is sub par now. Whoever is cooking it is not cutting off the excess fat from the tripe, causing it to be on the greasy side. Not sure if this is an oversight due to trying to make a quick pot. Hopefully the owner reads these reviews and makes the necessary adjustments, otherwise, I think people will look elsewhere for cleaner, tastier menudo.

I have been coming here for 19 years. They have consistently produced one of the best and most authentic burritos in southern california. Their menudo is the most amazing around hands down! Eat at Super Burrito! Great for friends and family!

I went back and it was horrible. The cocido had a horrible taste, the burritos was bland and the carnitas torta was also very bland. I took my parents and we all got something different to share. Safe to say that was my last time going there. I thought it was ok the first time I went but I’m not sure what happened. However I will say the staff was friendly.

I tried super burrito for the first time today and it was pretty decent. Upon walking in the establishment looked a lil run down, but most dive restaurants with good food do look run down. I got the breakfast Machaca burrito. I got potatoes instead of beans and I have to say it was pretty good. It was cheesy and crunchy from the tater tots. The red salsa was really good, not really spicy but still good flavor. I can see myself coming back here.

Super burrito is a very clean establishment. This was my first impression. I love how they have an open kitchen. This family run business has great burritos and tacos. I had a bean and cheese burrito with shredded beef it was big and delicious. The tacos remind me of my mom’s cooking. I haven’t tried the shrimp cocktail but I will later on tonight. I look forward to this. The service here is The kind that can only be given by a family run operation. Prompt service and kind. Support your local family run business!

Sadly disappointed today. I moved out of the area a few months ago and don’t get to visit as often as before. Today I decided to make the 40 min drive in high winds and rain and was very disappointed. For starters, the owners son was extremely rude upon me walking in. He argued with me after I asked a question on seating and then continued to give me attitude and when it was my time to order, he didn’t take my order. He left to the back and I stood there waiting for someone. The cooks had to yell for someone to come up front and help me. When I finally had my order taken, it was by the grouchy owner who snatched my sisters atm card out of her hand when it was time to pay. The menudo was not on point. It had a strong smell, there was barely any hominy and there was large pieces of what looked like fat. My daughters bean and cheese burrito came out and the cheese was not melted. Not one of their best days.

Was disappointed today with my burrito I bought from here every time the shop buys them Mike makes them I go at night and it’s not even the size he makes them. He needs to have the cook make them the same way he does. Big disappointment today 12÷8÷15

Worst burrito for breakfast! asked for a egg and potato burrito, the egg was fine but low and behold the potato was tater tots! Really frozen pretend potatoes. even the place around the corner uses real potatoes.

I got the bacon breakfast burrito, they carefully construct the burrito so that you get s bite of everything. The egg is wrapped entirely around the bacon and tator tots. Yeah, I said tator tots. This place uses tator tots instead of hash browns in their burritos. Crunch to perfection and soft and potato-ee in the inside. Burrito is quite large, my girlfriend who’s petite was able to finish it though but it filled me up. Service was fast, and there wasn’t a wait time even though I went on a Memorial Day morning. Overall amazing food and good service.

There is one reason and one reason only as to why I come here: Cocido(or Mexican Beef Stew for my non-Spanish speakers.) They serve it daily unlike most of the local joints around here and it’s the perfect comfort food especially on cold and rainy days(which don’t exist in So. Cal.) You have a choice of small or large(go large, trust me) and it comes with a side of rice and tortillas of choice. This place is family owned and if I eavesdropped correctly, they use family recipes for most of the their food. The only other thing I’ve had here other than cocido was their taquitos and I can’t remember them well to comment. The portions are decent for the price and they bring around a platter full of condiments to add to your stew(cilantro, lemon, salsa, chives, onion, etc.) which makes it a very filling ordeal. Take as much as you can because they do come and take said platter away and pass it around the house. If you are squirmish, this may not be your cup of tea. It’s a small place, nothing special about it. I’ve never had a problem with service and it’s close to my chant so I shall continue to enjoy their deliciousness.
