I really liked this place until this morning surprise surprise yes their was a hair in my machaca burrito!!! Very disappointed :’( Never again… The worst is when I returned the burrito back to the lady in the counter, she gave me the worst attitude as if it was my fault. Never again!!!

I really like this place! It’s good food and open 24⁄7 so you can literally go whenever you want. It’s a super small place so seats are limited, and the area is kinda sketchy so it’s best to go in a group. I love the nachos!

This place is fantastic! A friend of mine brought a group of us here one late Friday night! They have some great traditional plates but what stands out the most is their super burrito. Check my photos out. It’s the biggest burrito I have ever seen. It looks like it could feed a family of 4. If your in Whitter come here and see it for yourself!

One star for the burrito that was alright. These MUTHA fuckers I asked for a wet burrito brought me out a normal burrito. Then when I told him politely my order was wrong he goes no your wrong he had me convinced that I ordered a normal burrito. Well if they gave you a receipt then you can clearly tell what I fuckun paid for.

I love their food… and I don’t mind the prices. Never had an issue with them before until today. I wanted to pay with my debit card like I usually do, but my card was declined! I have plenty of money and it’s Friday, I have direct deposit, So I call my bank and they inform me that my card is completely fine. The manager was really rude when I asked them to try my card again. For whatever reason is was declined again. So with an attitude she swipes her own card which is approved! Looks at me with a smug look as if saying«what?» I took that as her trying to embarrass me. She was rude and hardly said a word to me after my card was declined. I looked at her and showed her my bank balance! I can pay her whole rent! Needles to say I’m never going back. You don’t treat people like that. Shit happens. Respect your clients

This place sucks, if you want a bad taco this is the place… I was a customer years ago and the food quality is not the same.

Been coming here for many years, big plus that they are open 24 hours, was the best place to grab quick fix of mexican food late at night after classes let out. Came back today for first time in about a year and can say ive missed this place! Had to get my usual, 3 Asada Sopes(hold the sour cream and guac) with side of rice and beans, and i mean some real rice and beans!!! Never disappointed here! Only down side is the wait can be a little long even when slow, but its mostly cause they dont start cookin til you order!

I have been here in the past. I usually get nachos. On Oct. 7. 2014 I was here to buy nachos when I sat down to eat there was a baby roach on my fork. There were also weird insects that kept flying around and landing in my hair! When I swooshed the insect it fell into my nachos ! The lady refused to give me my money back! She gave me 5 dollars after I kept arguing with her ! This place is a dump! I’m calling the Health Dept. also!

The food here is good. I am able to order on the phone and my food is ready 10 minutes later. Today we got a carne asada burrito and two tacos de lengua. Everything was good and really hot. My son and I enjoyed but it’s not fine dining. I won’t give it five stars because although it’s good, it isn’t amazing.

It was sooo Delish first time coming here. Had the lengua and Asada tacos. I was a few cents short and she was nice enough to say it was«OK». Their tomato salsa is good too! Next time I will try the Asada torta.

Their super burritos are to die for! It’s cheap and the quality is fantastic. It seems to have a special sauce that the regular burrito doesn’t have. So far, that’s the only food I’ve tried from here but as far as drinks go, horchata is very well made. Try this place! You won’t regret it.

Tacos de asada are pretty good. Same style as tacos mexico restaurant. The only thing is that they are stingy with their salsa, especially the green salsa. Lady gets annoyed when asked for extra salsa, not sure why. Looks like I will just keep going to Tacos A Toda Madre which is down the street.

I peeked at a review for this place just prior to hitting the tab to write my own. The author said Taqueria El Acator is a great spot to eat after a night of drinking. I’m certain that’s true, however, my familiarity w/the establishment is in the morning, as it is not too far from an office where I used to work. I always ordered the breakfast burrito(ham), and it was dirt cheap and damn good. As I seem to recall, I walked out with a tasty rolled breakfast, quality tortilla chips and a small soda for well under $ 5. I’m not sure, but I don’t believe I ever saw another white person patronizing this place(which is a sure sign of quality Mexican food in L.A.). The cuisine is Mexican street faire, made by genuine Mexicans. If half the people behind the counter turned out to be in the country legally, I’d be surprised. The food is good and very reasonably priced. A good spot to pick up something a couple notches in genuiness and quality above Taco Bell.

This is my go too spot for mexican food, because its always open, fast, and they make a killer lengua burrito! its not the classiest spot, but i have never had an issue with the food. if you are out on the town, slamming some brews this place should be your last stop!

Best place to come for that late night DRUNKCHIES yummyness!, they have the best super burritos or your simple nachos decked in meat and guacamole or your choice of meats. Affordable prices and they have those meal options as well as churros for a little snack. Friendly service but a very small little hole in the wall spot. but hey most of the hole in the wall places are the best! I usually get tacos of course. breakfast burritos are pretty big as well if you need something hardy and authentic to start your days…
This ONE in particular attracts a lot of the after hours crowd. since it is on a main street. All in All the food is always good never bad at all, and if your not a fan of small little spots like this I suggest go else where or stay in your car while your friends order the food for you.

I would have to rate Taqueria El Atacor a Whittier 3.5… any place else with King Taco nearby 2.5, averaging out to 3 stars overall. Let’s face it, after a few IPAs at the Bottle Room on a mostly-empty stomach almost anything will taste good. In this case, we were jonesing for some buche tacos and El Atacor was the only place in town holding it down at midnight. Sampled the buche tacos and cabeza. Nothing to write home about, especially the buche which didn’t have the normal seasoning or consistency that I was expecting. Cabeza was less ‘stringy’ and drier than I would like. The red sauce definitely fixed it as did the Orange Bang. Prices were pretty cheap too. Service was very friendly considering it was late night and in my buzzed state I think I gave a monetary donation toward the owner’s daughters school trip. Dios te bendiga or something like that. I would probably come back. If nothing else, to sober up via the asada fries or nachos that others are talking about, donate to the owner’s kid’s next school trip, or both.

I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Best Carne Asada Fries around LA! Fries are the thin and crispy. The meat plentiful. And mounds of onions and cilantro make it over the top good. Their Carne Asada Fries blow Molca Salsa/Alberto’s out of the water. Two words: Trust me.
