Wanted to try this place again because I got sick last time and waited a year. My husband and I tried it today to give it another chance and we both got sick. Needless to say I won’t go there again. Don’t get me wrong, the food looks great and has variety but not sure if too many people touching it since its buffet style and get people sick. The staff is friendly that’s why I give a 2 but the food does not agree with me. So no for me.

We had tried this place a couple of years ago and were not impressed. My daughter recently started going there for lunch, and commented that she liked it, so the wife and I joined her for another visit on a Friday at lunchtime.
Still not impressed, although their front wall is lined with awards from the Wichita Eagle voter’s choice. I don’t understand, it was not very fresh, the fried rice was average, the sweet and sour chicken pieces were doughy, the broccoli beef tasted rubbery. The spring rolls had an odd taste to them like it had nutmeg or some odd spice to it. My daughter enjoyed hers however, and they seemed to have several sushi options which she also enjoyed.
I am still looking for a truly good Chinese restaurant in this town. :(

Sushi bar is limited, but good. Most items are so-​so. The spicy shrimp was really good. I didn’t try the Mongolian grill, but that is a huge plus for those who like it. Went on a Sunday and although they had crab legs, they were far and few between in refills. The service was nice.

Pretty good assortment of dishes (including some I would call a bit rare) and have a grilling area so you can order something specific as well as a sushi section. Food is good. If you like shrimp, it’s often mixed in with something else like vegetables, or in a «shrimp egg foo young.» Lots of chicken variations. I took a friend there again today and he raved about the place, so I came back and improved my rating.

Tasteless/​bland food (with no pepper sauce/​chili sauce available), negligible/​disinterested service, and they charge extra for seafood and sushi at lunchtime (including standard fish, crab rangoon, etc.), putting a lunchtime buffet at $ 10+, NOT counting beverage. There are nominally-​better Chinese buffets in Wichita that include seafood and sushi for almost half the price, and flavor their food in addition. AVOID at all costs, unless you are lacking in taste-​buds or like spending more money on less choices. Honestly, I have no idea how this place stays in business, I’m out after two tries.

VERY disappointed in the time we went. Most of the food was cold, the dinner rolls were very hard. I said something to the cashier about how disappointed we were and there was no response, no apology or offer to take a couple dollars off our bill.

a ton of chinese buffets in town, this one has such pretty interior «design» but by taste, isnt one of the better ones though. the sushi was subpar; i dont even know where they found such tiny reject pieces of «sashimi» to put on the rice, and the eel on rice sushi was rubbery and tasted kind of funny.
i wanted to try the kimchi but it was so weird looking that i didnt even have the heart to put any on my plate cuz i knew i wouldnt eat it when i got to the table because it looked so unappetizing.
the only thing i’d get again would be by take out, their egg custard, which they made in a super lazy way using wonton wrappers instead of legit egg custard crust, but it turned out surprisingly delicious. the other thing that was good was the tilapia cooked in some dark sauce. they also had ice cream in the large tubs in the freezer, so that was nice. my dinner consisted of like 3 egg custards and a lot of ice cream. mmmmm

One of the good Chinese buffets in town. Their Mongolian grill rocks! Also, they’ve got a lot of chicken dishes. Packed on sat. and sun evenings.
