I was there on Sat 10⁄10. Not good, food obviously sat under a heat lamp for sometime as lettuce was stuck to the plate. Enchiladas just not good as use to be and rice was dry. We were shocked when our waiter«Dustin» who said«wow I thought it would be busier than this by now» definitely not going back. Trying Abuelo ’ s next time.

Although service was fine its what happened after that left a bad tast in my mouth. I got up to leave and apparently knocked the clasps on my fitbit charge off putting on my coat. I didnt notice until I got home about 15 minutes later when i took my coat off. I immediately called and a guy answered I described the fitbit to him and where I was sitting. He found it quickly and we did small quiz to make sure this was indeed mine. I asked him if I could pick it up in the morning and stressed to him that though materialistic it was a very important gift I had received and asked if he could place it in a safe place. He said of course I will be working tomorrow come in any time. So I show up shortly after opening and he says oh yeah I put it right here as he opens up an unlocked see through glass cabinet at the hostess station and surprise its not there. I attempt to sync my phone(it will sync up to 20 ft) and it wouldn’t sync. The manager took my number and said someone would call me… I ended up having to call back myself to speak to a man that was less than helpful and just said it was their biggest night so things get misplaced. Nooo when someone states something is important it should be kept safe it shouldnt get misplaced… and no its not misplaced its in the hands of someone who works there that would open those cabinets behind the hostess table. Clearly I realize it was no ones fault that it popped off my wrist but my own and had it never been found I would have just had to deal with the loss. But to know it was there and someone who works there has it makes me question the type of people being hired there. thieving is not ok by any means. My friends and I and anyone/everyone else I can inform wont be back since no one has even attemped to rectify the situation at hand.

Three of us went in for lunch and recieved horrible service. The waiter messed up my order and the manager insulted me twice when I pointed out the mistake. When the food arrived, it was awful! None of us will ever eat here again.

Terrible Mexican food, some of the worst I’ve ever had. I’ve litterally had better Mexican food out of the freezers at Walmart.

Walked in the door and stood for a moment before the hostess tried to seat the group that walked in behind us. Not cool. Took our waitress a little while to come greet us, but she was good after that. Food was good, and lunch portions were the perfect size. The hostess really put me off. It’s not a hard job, but it is an important one.

This is a another place that I have been visiting for years, I remember the day it opened, I was a resident of the West Side back then. I have enjoyed many a margarita there, and oh yes, a few times where I over-enjoyed those tasty things. This was close to work and always a fun place to meet co-workers for chips and salsa and beer, I miss those days. I am going there tonight and get to spend the evening with close family and friends, while I know it is not the best, it is an old reliable place that feels like coming home.

I used to love, love, love Carlos O’Kelly’s when I lived in Wichita; it was one of the places I really liked to go to a lot. Either they have changed, or I have as I don’t love it as much as when I lived here. It’s still decent but nothing outstanding or out of the ordinary. I do not care for their salsa at all. It’s basically pico de gallo; which is fine but I don’t like huge chunks of onions. I like actual salsa that I dip my chips in. Everyone else at the table loved it so maybe it’s just me… I ordered a Baja Chicken Wrap which was pretty good; it came with queso which was a queso blanco type of dip and was very yummy. It seemed like it had artichoke pieces in it or something; I’m not sure but it was really good. The Wrap itself was good as well, but came with fries. Um. Fries? In a Mexican restaurant? OK, OK, I know it’s called Carlos O’Kelly’s but that still threw me. I gave my fries to my husband, as I’m not much of a fry lover. Everyone else seemed OK with their food; no one raved over it, no one sent it back, so it seemed fine. The service was fine; again, nothing outstanding or terrible. They did their job but didn’t stand out very much. If you like Mexican food, you’ll probably like this; but if you love Mexican food, there are a lot of other places to enjoy!

Been here many times as I am a pilot and fly into the Wichita airport. I probably have gone for the last time… not for any particular reason other than it’s just not good. Just about everything that is served here seems to be some type of pre-packaged, frozen food item that you can probably get at a supermarket and microwave or re-heat yourself. Seriously… the chips are not«restaurant style» chips… they are just like eating Tostidos out of the bag. Not good. Salsa, not great but not bad either. The taquitos are like the ones in the big box at your supermarket. Tonight I had the shredded beef combo which is 2 shredded beef enchiladas and one shredded beef taco. Asked for verde sauce on my enchiladas instead of red sauce…“we don’t have that.” Entrée comes with 2 sides. Choices are mexican rice, cilantro lime rice, some sort of mashed potato, refried beans. For 99 cents extra I chose a salad and I also chose the cilantro lime rice. Asked for balsamic dressing…“we don’t have that.” Salad was good. Entrée comes out. Enchiladas were very flat, drenched in a dark tomato based sauce. Could barely taste anything but the sauce, which was neither horrible or good. I’d of preferred not to even have it actually. Tasted like a microwaved dish. The taco… this is the ONLY thing in this entire restaurant that I enjoy. I remembered that after I ate it, and remembered that every time I come here there really isn’t anything good but the shredded beef tacos… and that could possibly be because I really like that taste of that beef. I’ve had better, but these are nothing to complain about at all. The rice… oh man. If this isn’t Rice-A-Roni, then I don’t know what is. It was probably worse. It had that same soft texture, boiled in chicken broth taste that any small pack of foil packaged rice in the store had. Awful. The red mexican rice looked the same and I remember having it before and it was just as bad. A real shame. This place is not a Mexican restaurant. It it a pre-packaged store bought Mexican food re-heater. Like I said, as a pilot I eat about 300 – 400 meals a year on the road, and Mexican restaurants are some of the most visited. If you want good Mexican food, stay clear unless you just go for the tacos. Oh, the Margarita… it was big, but weak.

Good chips, salsa and quesa. friendly waitress, Enchilada kind of thing with lime chili rice(good) refied beans. Typical mexican fare except for the lime rice.
