I still think this is the best place for fried chicken gizzards. The coating is the perfect amount of saltiness and crunch. It’s better than Stroud’s. Speaking of, the skillet chicken here is better, too. The sides are incredibly mediocre though and probably warmed up from a can. I’ve yet to try the desserts, but have heard they are popular. I always look forward to coming back here for the gizzards.

I use to go to the old location and I have to admit the food was better. I always get the hot wings, and the pan fried chicken with fries and green beans… The wings had a different sauce, the green beans were lacking flavor & the chicken was a little on the burnt side. Wish things were the way they were at the old location

Great environment for family the old building was good but the new one is ten Xs better. BEST HOME COOKED FOOD IN TOWN. Cheap drinks plenty of food and always great service … I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, with the homemade fried chicken as my favorite I’d have to go with catfish chicken wings then chicken fried steak in that order. Ask for Gerry !!
