This is one of the few places I will voluntarily eat at in Wildwood. They always have specials on the pizza and the service is good. The pizza is always served pipping hot.

Had lunch here with the family and was satisfied with the pizza. Not a bad pizza just nothing to write home about. The price was fair and the service was on par.

So went for the morning breakfast special… also the sign that said air conditioning. Ok the eggs were fair, the other were fair too(juice, coffee, toast). Check was $ 16. Not great and very hot inside. Will not be back

Good pizza, dining room could use an update. Took my son and a friend here instead of Contes as Contes didn’t have pizza. (And of course I promised pizza)

Pizza wasn’t too bad. I had a pepperoni and my gf had a mushroom slice. this place looses 3 stars for 2 reasons, 1 is the price for the amount of mozzarella sticks you get. You pay $ 6 for 4 pieces. Really only 4? The second reason is the tables they have available are for people who are ordering in. buying $ 18 worth of food and drinks, but you can’t sit down to eat it, unless the waitress takes your order, we sat down but ordered the food togo first. Moments later, the waitress told us that only people can sit, that are having there orders taken. And then she explained to me she works off tips. When we sat down she had like 6 other tables, with 8 other tables open. I’m a paying customer too. Next time I’ll go to a place where they let me sit down on the tables with out a tipping fee.

Terrible experience here. Spent $ 17 on two bland tasting slices — a pepperoni and a mushroom slice, order of mozzarella sticks which(was 4 pieces of cheap store mozz sticks for $ 5.95!) and two sodas. The sauce was incredibly bland and the crust was dry and hard. The slices practically fell apart before we could even get a bite out of them! FYI this place is only take out OR sit down waitress service. I come from north jersey and I’ve never heard of a pizzeria that didn’t offer tables for customers who just want to grab a quick slice. We ordered our food and saw an empty table outside of the restaurant so me and my boyfriend sat down and quickly chomped down on the pizza. One of the waitresses was rude enough to come and tell us «for future reference, this is one of my tables and is only for sit down service». Mind you that the table was practically outside the restaurant and on the boardwalk and there were another dozen open tables inside the pizzeria in the air conditioning! My boyfriend and I were appalled. We were paying customers who just ordered food and wanted to sit down for a quick bite before returning to the beach. We have never been treated in such a rude manner as a paying customer. The bland pizza was not a winner for us and the rude waitress is definitely the sole reason we would never return to this spot.

Great morning breakfast –3 eggs, home fries, toast $ 2.99. Best deal on the Boardwalk at Wildwood.

Just ordered plain slices and a Philly cheesesteak. I was disappointed at the food, maybe because I ordered to go. The pizza was old reheated like any other place on the boardwalk but the pizza was burnt and dry. The cheesesteak was plain and salty with no peppers and onions? What’s a Philly cheesesteak without peppers and onions? I could have had frozen pizza and a frozen cheesesteak that would have tasted better. Maybe if you stayed and eat in it would have been different. Overall, would not come back.

Had good«drive bys» during the week. Just stopped by and ordered a thin crust half plain half mushroom and onion. Picked it up(and should have checked but how can you mess up a simple order you placed in person?). Got a thick, blubbery whole mushroom and onion — not including the bare spots.

You know what? It’s not half bad. The key here is to order a whole pie, made fresh. Although I love leftover pizza as much as the next guy, some of the slices sitting on the counter look they were made awhile ago. Like last summer awhile ago. We were staying in the condo above Alex’s Pizzeria this week and the kids were begging for an evening of nightswimming. So to make life easier, we ordered a fresh pie, half plain, half pepperoni, and brought it upstairs to dine poolside. This is the one time I can live with BYOB. I kept my expectations low. While eating pizza on the Wildwood boardwalk has always been a favorite pastime, I’ve eaten so much good pizza over the last decade that I cannot help but conclude that pretty much all boardwalk pizza sucks. History, ritual, blah blah blah… boardwalk pizza is de facto crap almost 100% of the time. But I must say that we enjoyed our pie tonight. It could be nostalgia that made me feel generous with my 3-star rating. This is the pizza I remember as a kid. Thicker, doughier crust, laden heavily with a slightly sweet tomato sauce and globs of generic mozzarella cheese, swimming in grease from the crispy-edged, thin-sliced pepperoni, all bubbling into one messy slop of a slice that burns the roof of your mouth when you first chomp into it. It was like being a kid again. As far as boardwalk pizza goes, Alex’s is A-OK. And perhaps the best thing Alex’s pizza really has going for it: it’s NOT Mack’s!

One of the best pizza’s I have ever had! Alex’s offers an affordable deal at a very expensive tourist trap. Large pie and full pitcher of any soda for $ 11.99. Toppings are a little higher. We love his buffalo chicken pizza. Toppings are loaded on and has the perfect amount of cheese. Crust is absolutely perfect. Chewy, not too thick and crispy but not cracker-like. We stay on the opposite end of the boardwalk on the North Wildwood end but we walk the 2 miles for Alex’s and eat the whole pie since we know we will work it off on our walk back! I’d say out of our 5 day stay, we eat at Alex’s 3 times. Make sure you take the hike down to the WIldwood Crest end of the boardwalk and try Alex’s. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Got the cheesesteak and the pizza. Both were very good. Cheesesteak was just steak and cheese but meat was tender and bread was crisp but soft. Pizza was made to order and had good flavor. Thin crust and came with a pitcher of soda for about $ 12. My bro order a pitcher of diet pepsi(have no idea why) and waitress made no issue when we asked for a different drink even though it was our choice. Great customer service. If I ever get back to Wildwood, this is my spot.

We stopped at Alex’s twice this year, after our traditional pizza spot on the boardwalk tanked in terms of service. We were happy to see that Alex’s is a good replacement with tasty pizza, excellent mozzarella sticks, and good salads. The place’s ambiance is minimal with Sports posters and a Captain EO poster on the wall. No air conditioning. But the staff is friendly and efficient and the food is good.

Very good pizza! I eat there at least once on my Wildwood vacation with good deals. They also serve breakfast.
