My friends and I went to barcode for a birthday party. Which is a great bat but had no food. So I walked over to pick up some quick bites. When I walked it(3:40pm) there were no diners because it was pre dinner rush. I ordered 2 quesadillas 2 nachos and corn on the cob. 3:50 enter a nice couple who sit and orders. 4:00 couple gets there food; separate couple walks in 4:10 the second couple walks in 4:20 the first couple is finished with their meal. If you don’t see a problem with the above then you have a lot of patience. After speaking forcefully with the waitress aka throwing a shitfit I got my food. Her response is «we had a lot of delivery orders» If you want your food to go, I recommend ordering, getting your food and then asking them to put it in a Togo container. At least you will get a glass of water and chips while you wait for your food. I think the food was good(hence a second star) I couldn’t tell because once I wait too long I have to idea what it tastes like, it just gets shoveled into my mouth to prevent hunger induced insanity.

I always see this place empty but it’s the best Mexican spot in the area. The fish tacos are great. The nachos are the best I’ve had-every chip is layered with meat, cheese and beans… with guacamole and pico de gallo in the middle for dipping. The interior is really cool too.

My go-to taco spot in Williamsburg. Great vibe, great food, amazing passion fruit cocktail and we usually get a spot to sit right away. I like to steal the couch and chill there. Keep it up guys:)

I was looking for a convenient place to meet my friend for dinner a few nights ago, and when we settled on wanting tacos, this place looked like a great idea — and it DID end up being a good idea. I got the shrimp taco and an alcoholic drink… I don’t remember what the drink was! But it was so yummy I got two. The bathrooms here are clean and there’s a great feel about the place, plus the staff is extra accommodating without being overbearing. I’m going to come back for sure.

Disclaimer: Consider this an homage to their queso fundido. Our go-to hood spot for delicious drinks, great low-key ambiance, and QUESOFUNDIDO. Until I met my boyfriend, I had never even heard of this dish. He is absolutely obsessed with it and will order it at any restaurant that has it. Prior to this little neighborhood gem opening up, we used to get it at La Superior, and frankly I didn’t like it too much because it was just wayyy too cheesy. On the contrary, at Los Tacos, it is basically the only thing I will get. I have tried other things but damnnn, queso fundido on fleek right here! No other queso fundido compares. I still remember when Los Tacos first opened up less than a year ago, and trying theirs for the first time. I was instantly hooked! If you’ve never had it before, definitely try it here. It’s a delicious, warm, gooey bowl of melted cheese, black beans, cherry tomatoes and avocado slices with a side of warm tortillas waiting to get in that belly. You can also add chorizo as an option. The last time I ordered it, the cheese wasn’t really melted, but I forgive them because all of the other times it’s been on point. I’m actually a little hesitant to write this review because I don’t want to go there one day and for them to be sold out of it. But you know what? The Unilocal community deserves to know about this tasty dish and so do your tastebuds(you can thank me later). Another great thing I love about this place is their happy hour and drinks in general. They have great taco + beer specials, taco + margarita specials, 3 types of sangria, and my fave — rum maracuja(passion fruit). Really great deals, a chill vibe, and good service. They also have elote, which I love, and various dinner specials. I tried one of their beef dinner specials, which was delicious. Their tacos are decent but their burritos are better. Their homemade chips and salsa are always on point, I love how their salsa has a slight smokiness to it. Just a tip — this place is cash only but they do have an ATM inside.

Seriously amazing tacos! I visited from Los Angeles and one of our friends referred us here and we were hooked! literally went 4x in the span of 5 days! So good. I ventured out my my beloved tacos and got a chicken burrito that was delicious and the perfect size! I also loved the complimentary chips and my favorite drinks were the Coconut Mojito and red sangria! Amazing! The ambiance was great too. Latin music playing and just an overall great place to enjoy friends. Next time I want to try their brunch menu!

Definitely recommend this place for an inexpensive casual get together over drinks and tacos. It has the right ambience. The tacos and guac and chips were delicious(especially the pineapple and pork taco. Service was very quick. It is good to note that it is is cash only.

Excellent. Food was fantastic, service was delightful. Place went from sleepy to completely slammed in a matter of 20 minutes and although the staff was running around helping everyone, they maintained great attitudes about the whole thing– something anyone and everyone could take a lesson from. A pleasant little atmosphere, inviting bar and all around welcoming experience.

Probably the best tacos in all of Williamsburg. Tasty, fresh, and unique ingredients. Cheap drinks. Cheap food prices too. Helpful staff. Never too crowded or loud. Very relaxed atmosphere. Only problem I have with the place is that it’s cash only and I don’t always have cash on me.

I ordered Seamless, Corned Beef Hash with home fries and scrambled egg. When it arrived, I thought they got my order wrong because it was just eggs and french fries. I called several times and got no answer and finally I was so hungry I decided to just eat it. Then I discovered some greasy, monotone meat mush underneath the eggs. So I guess the order was correct except for the french fries instead of home fries, and it’s just gross, not incorrect. I mean, I’m hungover and wanted greasy food but even the fries are so oily I can’t eat them. At least they brought cold damp toast that I can add my own butter and jelly to(since none was included). This is my second time ordering from here; the first time was just fine. Not incredible but nothing wrong with it.

This place is great. The chorizo burrito is hands down the best I’ve had of its kind. Pretty cheap too.

We walked in and the server asked us to pick a any table we wanted. Immediately the server came over with the menus and specials. The service was great and the food was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the steak tacos, he loved them. I ordered the mixed fajitas and a coco mojito. The fajitas were delicious and the mojito was out of this world. If I had any complains is that they only take cash, which we weren’t made aware until we got the check, it wasn’t posted anywhere that cards were not taken. But they do have an ATM inside of the restaurant.

I wasn’t going to rate this place because the staff was so nice and I really wanted to like it, but these good reviews are completely fake and inaccurate! I’m not really a picky person, but hands down the worst margarita I’ve ever had — so bitter I could barely drink it. The food is really greasy, the chicken in my burrito was gummy and gross and I thought it was a little strange that it was served in foil on a plastic plate — is it a sit down restaurant or a taco truck? My friend barely ate her food because it was so bad. The prices are ok, not great either. I could go on… Bottom line, I really wanted to like this place because it’s really cute, but they need to step it up. This is NYC!

One of the best Mexican spots in the city hands down. The entire experience was great. I highly recommend it. I will be going back.

CASHONLY Had some tacos here for dinner. They have like 6 – 8 to select from. I had the chicken, carne asada, and pork with pineapple. The chicken and pork were the best ones. I do like that each taco has guacamole on top. Full bar and a few Mexican beers on tap. They have some happy hour specials as well, I think 4 to 8 or something.

I thought my authentic Bushwick tacos were the best in Brooklyn. However, I stumbled upon this joint by my friend’s house. They’re better. Apparently the gentlemen chefs run a longtime established restaurant and bunch of food trucks. It shows, or, rather, tastes. Lastly, pibil taco… You won’t regret it.

Great fish taco supper fresh and flavorful. As for the cemita sandwich holly cow it was good… they do add heat to it which packs a punch. Very friendly staff and the dimmed eating area with candle can set the perfect mood for a date night.

Actually the nicest people in the world work here. Owner is super friendly and down to earth. Take great pride in their coctails and food. Jalapeño margarita was possibly the best margarita I’ve ever had. Made from scratch, fresh limes used as well as freshly squeeze orange juice? and garnished with a little pickled jalapeño and some juice. Beer selection is what it is but if you cant enjoy a negra modelo with your tacos, then you cant sit with us. The tacos– Fish– must have been fresh bc the flounder was tender and had some flavor for quite a bland fish. Seasoning was subtle but good. With their salsa and a squeeze of lime, it was a perfect taco. Pastor(pork/pineapple) — first time trying it and would eat this daily. Savory sweet flavor, perfect consistency for a taco and paired beautifully with housemade guac. Came alone for lunch and a drink and felt like a regular. Can only hope for good things for a place like this.

If you can’t tell from the photos I love this place. The food is amazing, the drinks are equally as good and the staff is awesome! My girlfriend and I passed this spot on the way to the grocery store late-late in the night in our pajamas. Yes, I said pajamas. With a hankering for tacos we couldn’t resist going in. Sadly the kitchen was closed but we stayed for drinks and had a ton of fun. Yes, a ton of fun in a random bar in our pajamas.(Would suggest casual attire for those reading). Since the kitchen was closed the staff suggested to come back the next day so we did. Best. Decision. Ever. We tried 4 types of tacos, fish, steak, pipin(pork & pickled onion), and of course ALPASTOR(pork and pineapple). All were delicious, cooked well, seasoned well, topped with guac, cilantro, onion, and on the side was radishes, salsa, cucumber and lemon. On top of that we also got the queso fundido which was amazing!!! It’s baked cheeses with chorizo and beans, it’s baked on a skillet and topped with grape tomatoes and avocado. It’s mouthwatering. If you don’t order anything off the menu at least order this. Add a margarita to that and you got the perfect meal.
