Stumbled upon this new place in Williamsburg. I’d like to give it 3.5 instead of three but it’s not worthy I think of four… It’s an interesting concept. It’s got a no frills vibe that reminds me of Five Guys. Sparse furnishings etc. Cheap paper towels on a roll. It’s interesting. You walk in and there are bags on the table and red pencils. You take the bag, pick what you want. There were 9 bags, each one will be for Chicken, Turkey, Pork, Beef, Veggie or whatever there is. It’ll list the bread types which you’ll check off, if you want it hot or cold, the veggies and the condiments. Then you just give them your bag. The other unique thing about it were the sizes of the sandwiches. At Subway, you get a 6″ or 12″. These are like 7″ etc. You pretty much pick your size. All this is good. I had a chicken salad sandwich and the chicken was really fresh, soft and it tasted great. My hubby had a turkey sub. For the New Englanders out there, they had grinders(getting that next time). Price was inexpensive. I think the two meals came to 24 bucks or something like that. Now here are my complaints: The stools are super small to sit on. There were only like three tables or something and line was out the door. You can sit outside though. However metal furniture in summer and winter not good(burns your or freezing). The rest of the seating is a long bar top. I’m not super sized but the seat barely fit my butt. It’s really made for little kids it seemed. In a society of large people, every large person I saw walked out… The other bad thing and this is minor, is I prefer chopped celery in my chicken salad. That wasn’t an option on the veggie list. There were a couple other condiments that could’ve been on there as well. Also, there are NO side options other than chips? No potato salad, macaroni salad, fries, nothing… just chips. If they just added chopped veggies for the chicken salad or you could say GRILLED onions/peppers, I think I’d love this a lot more. Also would prefer something other than chips with my meal. But the sandwiches are tasty and fresh. So I’d try it again. It’s across from the Bakers Crust and across the street is a new Kebob place I want to try… Nice plaza! Love that area now. Maybe because it’s new or maybe because it’s got the best stores up there and now these new restaurants.

Ham and pineapple with ranch was the perfect combo. Getting the sun heated took it to another level. The heated egg salad sub was great. Ordering by writing your order in a bag ensures you get the right order. Subs came out quickly, too.

I tried my first Which Wich in California & absolutely loved it — so I was beyond excited when they started construction for one in Williamsburg. Love the idea of ordering on paper bags. I usually get a roast beef or buffalo chicken, they’ve always been good. They have 3 size options which is nice, the medium sized one is perfect for sharing. I also tried their Oreo milkshake which was very good — a medium was huge & I couldn’t finish it. Inside is nice. Lots of people working, I feel like it was over staffed but hey, what do I know?

I really enjoyed writing my own order on what ends up being your sandwich’s bag and handing them to the cashier. Then they get clipped up and down the line they go. Really wish their menu did a better job of letting you know which kids sandwiches came cold and hot. Great hipster/industrial interior and high quality food.

This is fast becoming my go to grab and go sandwich place. I still love delis but if im in a rush you cant beat which wich. I’ve been this location many times and never disappoints. Sandwiches are consistently good. Atmosphere is good. Customer is great. The bag system is neat for simplicity sake. You mark everything want ahead of time so theres no mistaking how your sandwich is made. The reuben is a favorite but chicken pesto is a close 2nd. Sandwiches are toasted to a nice soft crunch.

Ordering sandwiches was confusing at first, but it’s a fresh idea that I liked. The sandwiches are decent, much better than Subway. There is also a huge selection which I liked. The menu is affordably priced, similar to Jimmy Johns or Firehouse Subs. For $ 11.50 you can get a 14″ sandwich, which is actually a better value versus other sandwich chains… especially so when you pay the same for any meat selections. We will return

Young sandwich maker threatened to refuse me service. Former frequent customer, probably not anymore after that.

Have only been here once but really enjoyed it! Liked the different way they have you order. Lots of sandwich options and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the amount of meat and toppings on the sandwich. Looking forward to trying it again. Friendly staff and delicious food!

Good but a bit confusing, you basically fill out what you want and they make it. A lot like subway, but nothing is included… No real deals at this place! Still, it was a good sandwich and got the job done!

Being from Boston we do not have wich wich here so while we were vacationing we went to wich wich in Williamsburg before heading to busch gardens. I was really amazed at the very simple yet modern look of the store and the yellow/black combination color scheme. The concept of ordering on the paper bag was very cool and very systematic in terms of what you want in the sub and what kind of sub you want. We were actually helped by the owner in choosing what he thought were good subs according to what we liked. He was a great guy very patient in explaining and helping us out. The subs themselves are huge and they fill it good. I ordered buffalo chicken while wife got veggie and it was great. The bread was nicely toasted not to crusty and not too soft. The buffalo sauce in the sub was very good along with chicken. Overall the food was really.good.and service was great and quick and i cant wait to. go back. Hopefully they open in MA soon.

I’ve been to this location twice and so far so good. I will say that I probably won’t frequent it as much in the near future as it is about an hour’s drive from my house – but it has nothing to do with food or service. I became familiar with which wich while living in Colorado. There are quite a few locations out there. So imagine my delight when I found out one would be opening somewhat in our area. They have MANY, many different sandwich options, all of which can be customized to your liking. There are also salad options as well. They offer a skinny version of their sandwiches – not sure what that entails however. I’ve always ordered the cuban which wich, which… lol…is very delicious. I can’t tell you all of the options I add because that is where I change it up every time, but you can’t go wrong with the olive salad(or dressing… whatever it’s called on paper), onion straws and pickles. Yum. Is it authentic? NO but it’s my sandwich so don’t judge me. Service is pretty friendly and both times I went the service was fast based on just a handful of people in there at the time. This location is very clean as well. One of the workers informed me that the guy who owns this franchise plans to open at least 10 more in the Hampton Roads area. Let’s hope this is true as I would love to keep coming to which wich – hoping they open one either close to my job or my residence. Overall, great sub place with many different options. Can be a little pricey but consider it a treat once in a while. :)

Really subpar. Yes, there’s a lot of options for sandwiches but nothing blows me away. Everything being put on the sandwich has been sitting out under hot lights so nothing tastes actually fresh. Also, do not get a breakfast sandwich. The eggs come in cakes and the ham was so rubbery and salty.

This place never disappoints, and today was no different. Megan greeted us to explain how things work here, but I had already excitedly started explaining it to my boss. We ordered and our food came up very quickly. The amazing selection here puts it at the top of any sub shop I’ve eaten at. Another great thing? Their sandwichfaction guarantee! Everything is fresh, this location is very clean, has versatile seating, and the staff was professional and helpful.

Love this place!!! This is the best designed sandwich establishment I have ever been to. The food is delicious and they have a nice variety. Shakes are a little costly, but otherwise the prices are decent.

First tried which wich in Houston a few years ago. Loved the concept. Custom-made to order sandwiches with choice of meat, toppings, etc. and a wide array of options. When my wife and I moved to Charlotte, we definitely went to which wich often too. And if you compare them to other sandwich chains: subway, firehouse subs, jimmy johns, potbelly, etc., which wich can definitely hang! The sandwiches are delicious. I think what sets them apart are the sandwich options. They have the usual deli meats, but have a variety of more creative sandwiches like surf and turf, gyros, etc. I’m partial to the surf and turf, but I’ve tried some other varieties.(A couple of days ago I had the gyro! Very tasty) The sandwiches are great, and you can get them with chips and a drink. Prices are pretty comparable to the other sandwich chains too. This location was great. I’ve been to this location 4x and the staff was super friendly each time. It’s clean, I got my orders quickly and the food was great each time. I would definitely recommend which wich if you’re crazy a quick sandwich.

I came here for the 2nd time since they opened on Monday 8÷18÷2014. You can consider Which Wich to be the Mavericks of Sandwich making. You think it and they can most likely make it. The choices are endless here. I as well had a chance to meet the owner today, and I’m impressed, the man stands behind the quality of his product as well as his team’s performance and that commendable in any book. As far as the Williamsburg Which Wich team goes, the staff is on point! Friendly, Fast and Professional. Now to the best part… THEFOOD! As I said before, there are a ton of choices here. If you want to know just how far they will go to make the most awesome sandwich you’ve ever thought up, just see what I ordered: 10.5 inch Chicken Pesto on Wheat –bread hollowed out –bacon –avocado –added lite Garlic & Oregano –Tomatoes –Spinach –lite balsamic vinaigrette –Carmallized Onions –Mozzarella and feta cheese –Lite oil Best new addition to Williamsburg this summer!
