Good service, pretty good burgers, but YOU have to try the Redneck spring roles. OMG!#^÷¥=€=^=^=^÷&&! $$#$!
THE BBQ inside the roles is awesome. You won’t regret.

I’ve been here a few times. They were kind of slow during the peak of the boom, but now they’re one of my go to bar and grills. Their beer menu is good, especially for the area.

Should’ve looked on Unilocal first! We were in Williston to look at the college. We ate here our first night in town and I wasn’t asked how I wanted my hamburger cooked so I guess eating a mooing cow was good enough for them. The second time I went my kid was with the other athletes so, I was by myself and I swear I think they knew I wasn’t local. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich… how can you get that wrong… well, you scrape the pork from the bottom of the pan, that’s how. The mac & cheese was pretty good but since I was grossed out by the pulled pork I didn’t eat a lot of it. Avoid Doc Holiday’s if you have other options.

The burgers were eh. But OH MY GOSH! They were sooooo slow!!! We sat down and waited for 15 minutes, and they were dead slow. Nobody was there. Our waitress was just gabbing with one of her tables. Eat at the Williston Brewing Company and spend a little more for a thousand times better everything!

We wanted to eat within walking distance of the truck stop. Our options were limited to Doc’s or one other place. We opted for Doc’s and overall were not disappointed. The menu is limited but not skimpy. There are a couple salads, a dozen or so sandwiches and eight or ten dinner entrées. The side dishes are creative rather than the usual soup, salad, potato options. Service was excellent. Only three stars because, for me, it was a bit pricey for what you get. And… it seems like a small thing but if I’m paying $ 15 for a dressed up pork chop, I’d really like a roll or slice of bread with my salad. Even a couple of crackers would have been nice.

A Return visit today and as I sat down I was greeted with a drink, My waitress remembered me from my last visit and greeted me. Great service and food is good for the price.

Disappointed. Half capacity and they were insanely slow. Appeared well-​staffed but nothing getting done. 30 min in between beers frustrated my husband. Cute place with nice outdoor seating. I really wanted to move outside from the bar tables but he was worried it would then take an hour between beers. I wouldn’t go back to try again unless I was spending another week here. Prices were reasonable for the area.

The ribs were horrible, they tasted like they were boiled and then a nasty BBQ sauce was just poured on it, Mac and cheese was the only thing the was pretty good, would not go here again

The broccoli was half warm some ice cold pieces.
Now I normally don’t send things back, but I did just to warm it up.
To their credit they re did the whole plate… This time… Steak was hot and potato and «sautéed veggies» oops I mean steamed broccoli was just so so warm.
The kitchen clearly needs help or stove burners that work.

This place is pretty good for a burger :) Not bad prices for Williston area. My burger and fries were delicious. It’s a little small inside and our waitress didn’t really check in on us. Other then that pretty tasty burger :)

I was in town in town on business last week and this place was close to my hotel. I sat at the bar and received fast courteous service. I had a nice cold beer and ordered a burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and my water was kept full. I was constantly asked if I needed anything.
Great burger, cold beer and fast courteous service. This place is worth a second stop from me.

I expected the worst after reading the reviews, I sort of was looking forward to bad service .
But, my food was actually pretty darn good, and I never waited for a drink, the bartender was good.
It was nice to see the lady manager washing the glasses and seeing that everyone was getting good service.

Wasn’t impressed with this place. For starters the server asked if we were ready to order we asked for a minute and she gave us about 15. We eventually ordered a grilled chicken salad and a burger. Husband really liked his. Mine was pretty plain as far as the salad portion and the chicken was completely dry and charred on the outside. I needed to drown it in dressing. Very over priced for the quality of food they are serving. Worth noting we went at about 2:30 on a week day. The place was empty.

My food was not good at all plus it was cold. There aren’t very many options and the better options are WAY over priced. We sat at a table that could see into the kitchen/​food prep area and saw a cool eating pieces of customers food that was waiting to go out. Also saw open drink containers in the food area. Service was less than ok and when she noticed she got a very small tip she was rude as we left. I will not be going here again so my first time was my last time.

So second time I have been here ordered a Med/​Rare flat iron it was more of the rare couldn’t send it back cause my server hasn’t come back for 30 mins. I have been out of a drink for 20 mins now and every other server just keeps walking on by. Don’t get me wrong I do like this place but you need to hire some better staff I come into town all the time for work. This sever will not get getting a tip. Hell you may not get paid if I don’t get my check anytime soon! Oh I see him he is in the back counting his other tips well guy you just lost some cause you suck as a server

The roadhouse margarita and specialty braised beef burrito make a great combination!

Tried this place for a second time. I couldnt even make it through my cold burger. The server seemes flustered and had a hard time getting drink and food orders right. We tried to laugh it off… but it got really annoying after a little while. I wont be back here. Bad food. WAY overpriced and the service is ehhhh.

Went with some coworkers and was disappointed. Never been to a Doc’s before and I was told the owner took Trappers over (the former establishment) and made this into a Docs this year. The heater wasn’t working so soon as you walk in they have a floor heater going. I’m sure they will get this fixed but it’s not a good first impression.
The server was really sweet which was good because the menu was severely lacking and I didn’t want to be rude and say to coworkers lets go eat somewhere else. I didn’t have the heart on this particular night. It was a very minimal menu for a big place like this. The place was not busy the night we went. Yes it is a more rustic feel inside so if you you like it dark. here you go. Maybe I should have just gone for drinks.
I saw the prices on the menu leaving me a little shell shocked. I ordered a 10oz steak dinner and my meal was not hot when it came so it went back. Considering how not busy it was, that threw me off.
Got my meal returned and there was less on the plate then before, mashed potatoes and veggies pretty much tasteless. The texture of the meat was as if they stabbed it hundreds of times to make it tender and the folks who know me. know I’m a complete carnivore and steak eater of the finer cuts. They had a buttery garlic sauce on top of the steak which was ‘okay’ but if it weren’t for that, the meat would have been rather tasteless as well. There was nothing special about the scoop of mashed potato or the zucchini veggie mix. It was hard to justify how they could ask what they did for the meal.
It wasn’t my cup of tea but I hope your experiences aren’t the same as mine. I will go to the owners Brewery instead for a meal now that I know there is a nicer place to eat in town. I’m not sure why the quality is so different here. I’m impressed by the brewery for sure.
I hope it’s just growing pains. Maybe the next time I come back to town, I will give this place another go to see if there were any changes made.

limited menu, high prices, food was not good. Ordered the veggie buger and a turkey burger, turkey burger was bland, the veggie burger was burnt and the amount of cilantro was unedible. The place is cute, old timy western and the wait staff was fine.
