Our family Dr. is Patricia Whitney. She became our doctor in 2004 with the birth of our first daughter. She has come to the hospital for the birth of each of our three kids to check on Mom and child. She was so great with the kids, that we as parents switched over to her care as well. Any trip to the ER — we’ve had a few… she follows up with a call to make sure we’re doing OK. She has a truly caring bedside manner. She doesn’t over-prescribe meds and I feel she looks at health holistically. Going to Dr. Whitney is like going to see a family friend who looks after the family medically. She is the best! As far as TCHC is concerned, also great marks. The on-call service is fantastic. I find it amazing that we can be seen on weekends. Kid ailments normally do have really bad timing. Also, we can speak to an on-call dr. 24⁄7. Fever is 102 °F @ 2AM, what do we do? They give us a solid answer within 10 minutes. I can’t say enough good things about TCHC.

Joseph Haddock, MD has been our family doctor for many years. He’s just fantastic! Dr. Haddock’s nurse, Margaret, on the other hand, has no compassion and treats patients with disdain. She is especially unsympathetic and unpleasant to deal with on the telephone. Margaret has no doubt forgotten why she entered the nursing profession. If it were not for Dr. Haddock, I would have switched to a different doctor years ago.
