Marisa’s Little Secret

Marisa is one of the BEST colorists and stylists in the greater Chicago area. I was very fortunate to have someone recommend her to me while I was living in Chicago. My experience with her taught me you do not have to pay large sums of money to get great hair! If I ever return to the Chicago area, I will again seek her services. Also, her mother is a sweetheart; make sure you book your appointment on a day that she will be there.

What’s not to love?! Marisa is great at what she does and fast too! I’ve been a couple times after coloring my own hair for a few years (too much frustration trying to find someone who knows what they’re doing), and I am so happy I took my friend’s recommendation to come here!
The salon is actually in the basement of Marisa’s house and she makes you feel right at home. There is a nice little waiting area that she always has stocked with snacks and beverages (including wine).
She does color and another sytlist, Jeff, does the blow-​dries, cuts, etc. They both make sure they know exactly what you want and you will walk out feeling like a million bucks! Not to mention the prices are super-​reasonable.
