Hot Cuts Plus

Aneta has been cutting my hair since I was a baby. She’s an amazing stylist, and really knows what she’s doing. Plus, she’s rescued my hair from my at-​home coloring mistakes MULTIPLE times! I love this place. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair!

I am not entirely sold on this place. They don’t have the best customer service. Didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in. We sat for 30 min before someone finally spoke to us.

The salon staff is very friendly and staff is always ready to get you in and out especially when you schedule is very tight. I have been getting my hair (or what’s left of it) cut by Aneta for over 7 years now and she has never missed a beat on getting me taken care of with my busy schedule. Thank Hot Cuts. JK

This place is comparably cheap for general hair cuts for children, which doesn’t call for sophisticated styling talent. However, I will never return here for perm on my hair. I went there for a body wave and walked away with uneven Afro. Very upset, but I take responsibility for using their service. They are relatively cheap, but you’ll ruin your hair. Also, the lady who did my perm was Elizabeth… nice lady, but she sure does a horrible job. I’ll have to go to another salon to correct this terrible perm… very frustrated.

I always give the nod to non-​corporate places over the chains. HCP is a much better alternative to chain hair places. Staff is very personable and become your friends over time! Here you’re a name, not just a customer.
Warm and inviting interior and top notch cuts. Good for kids, men, women, the whole family. They do color too.

I’ve been going to Hot Cuts for years and it’s a great place. Great haircuts at an economical cost. The stylists are friendly & fun, and give a haircut that would cost much more elsewhere. And unlike other low-​cost salons, they don’t have high stylist turn-​over and isn’t a practicing ground for new stylists. If fact they don’t any turn over all. Annetta, Sandy, Rudy and Kim have there for years so they are highly-​skilled and experienced stylists, but at a reasonable cost.

I really wanted this local place to work, but had similar problems to some other reviews:
1) Hair everywhere — all over the floor, even in the waiting area. Grossed me out and had to keep telling my kids to keep their stuff off the floor. Yuck!
2) Three (yes THREE!!) people were served ahead of me after we got there and had already waited for 45 min! I even called ahead! They could have told me over the phone that there would be a 1 hour wait. I wouldn’t have wasted my entire morning (doesn’t work well with toddlers).
Finally we just left and one stylist gave a very insincere apology («I’m sorry but we’re busy!») and then whispered about me to her client about how some people just don’t understand when they’re busy. VERY RUDE!
Find an appointment/​walk-​in system that’s fair and communicates to customers openly! Not that I’ll be returning to experience it…

The service is not customer focussed. I asked for certain length cut and the stylist did what she wanted, cutting off much more than I requested.
AVOID this stylist unless you don’t care about your cut

Well priced, friendly service. I was not pressured into buying anything, just a relaxing, wonderful haircut. Aneta was very friendly and welcoming to me as a new customer, and did a nice job listening and giving me the cut I wanted. Will most definitely be back.

Very friendly, clean and professional. Hot cuts is less expensive then fancy salons; however, the quality of the service offered is uncompromising. Waiting time is within reason. Aneta, Kim and the rest of the team are always welcoming, and prompt. Although the place is not kids specific, my boys both enjoy getting their hair-​cuts here. .. incl the lollipops.

Hot Cuts Plus was where I got my haircut. Aneta had cut my hair at another chain store establishement and when she left, I followed. Now, years later, my entire family goes there and all of us are happy with our cuts from Aneta and Kim. Most impressive is that my young kids actually like going to get their hair cut because of how Kim and Aneta treat them. Hot Cuts Plus is convenient, good hours, efficient, not too hard on the wallet, and am never disappointed with the results. Never a long wait, and when you do wait there are comfortable couches.

Came here an waited for 10 – 15 minutes. The work station to get your haircut opened up. I stood up and this other women just walked in and she got served before me. Maybe she made an earlier reservation? Still they should tell me an estimated wait time.

I’m new to the area and looking for a place to take my kiddos for haircuts, that isn’t kiddie.
The staff was pleasant, we got in and out in a decent time. They offered my daughter to spray color in her hair and she loved it.
However, the reason I put 3 stars — they did not sweep up after each haircut. It grossed me out to watch my girls walk over about 3 persons cut hair on the floor. It grossed me out to watch the stylist walk over the hair too.
It was a game changer for me and I don’t know if I’ll go back.

Like the bar in Cheers, this is the place «where everybody knows your name.» My family has been coming here for years now and it we treasure it. We came for the low price and we stayed for the great stylists. It is convenient and you can get a great haircut and color for a fraction of what you’d pay elsewhere. There is a stylist for everyone and all ages are welcome.

Very clean, relaxed atmosphere. There is one very energetic guy there who will make non-​stop small jokes (can be annoying to some, i’d imagine but I didn’t mind it). People work there are very friendly, looks like an eastern european (polish) family ran business. Great haircuts — very reasonably priced at 15 $.
I literally have been to the chain haircut stores such as supercuts or great clips and the person will do exactly the opposite of what I just told them. Worst part is, I felt like I am obligated to tip even after a terrible haircut. so i am happy to find this place.

A pleasant place with a positive vibe. I been getting my hair cut (variations on a classic bob) here for a few years and I’ve always been happy with the result.

ps I forgot to add the haircuts are only 15 $!!
