Brixx Wood Fired Pizza

There is a buy one get one free pizza after 11 pm deal. You can split the sides, so for one pizza‘s price, you could get 4 different flavors. The pizzas are really tasty, and there are a lot different choices for topping.

As I have stated before, if you are dinning with three very active boys, speed is key. And that’s what we got here, fast, friendly service. They even brought some dough to the table for the kids to play with. That kept them busy while we waited for our food.
If you are a fan of thin crust, wood fired pizza, this is the place for you. I could smell the wood smoke before we even got in the door. I always take that as a good sign.
They have a great selection. I had the Bronx Bomber, but am looking forward to getting back to try the Thai Chicken pizza.
Overall, great value for the price. I highly recommend checking them out.

First timer, loving Brixx pizza! Had a great, very fresh Arugula Pear salad, and wife had a plain cheese pizza. All arrived quickly and tasted great. Ciarra was a fantastic waitress!

Overpriced, but it’s among the better pizza places in Wilmington. It does provide a comfortable and fun eating atmosphere

My new favorite pizza place! Tons of delicious vegan and vegetarian options. Every pizza I’ve tried has been amazing especially the pimento cheese pizza. Pretty good beer selection too!

Wood roasted veggie pizza :
The pizza was really tasty, the thin crust, the veggies give an amazing flavor and the sauce was perfect.
Wild mushroom pizza:
It was really wild. Couldn’t relate to any particular flavor. The arugula topping was raw and strong. Could have been better.

Good before a movie. Their pizzas are definitely different — personal sized (still big enough to share with two — if you split a salad or app too) and thin. Love the Hawaiian — my boyfriend loves the chicken. Wide selection of beer — you can order the slider and try a few different ones. Pretty good bartenders and nice staff.

Amazing wood fired BBQ vegan pizza. And I was able to discreetly breast feed in one of the booths without feeling embarrassed. Staff here was and is amazing to their guests. Absolutely will be back.

My husband, mother and I had lunch at about 1:00 p.m. on a Thursday. I had the small salad. my mother the caesar. The greens were not crisp nor fresh. my mothers caesar did not have any garlic in it. when does a caesar not include garlic or at the very least be asked if the customer would like it added? The server was delightful. normally we love everything but disappointed this time out. Don’t think I will be ordering a salad anytime soon.

You can only get personal sized pizzas (…) but they have a great variety to choose from. Each of us got different kinds and shared so that was kind of cool.
All in all, nice little joint. Will probably return when we’re back!

I have already come to this restaurant twice and have had two different pizzas and I will certainly be back.

Great place for pizza, especially if you like different styles other than the typical pepperoni and cheese. My favorites are the bbq chicken and buffalo chicken. They let you get half and half, which is a rare find in restaurants! Outside seating is great, good beer selection. Perfect location if you’re seeing a movie!

OK… So, I’m back at Brixx… my favorite eatery in the entire Wilmington area.
Maybe my 30^th visit this year… But I still feel a need to «yelp»… Always great! I think they pay as much attention to who they hire as they do to preparing the food. Great service… great lunch. …Try the shrimp carbonara with a Mediterranean salad (their dressing), and you’ll think you’re at a 5-​star restaurant. Wash it down with whatever your AAA+ server recommends. …Love this place.

Great food. My wife tells me the gluten free crust is great. Service is helpful, efficient, and friendly.

Great little pizza place awesome that it has its own gluten free menu and comes with the option of whole wheat crust. Reasonably priced but portions are kinda small. The margarita pizza is quite good and I would recommend it great place to go before you catch a movie.

I like the fact they have pizza and pasta. I am usually go for the Mexican Pizza but they have some good combo’s. It is a thinner wood oven crust but very tasty.
They give dough for the kids to play with. Everyone wins.
Good beer list. Fun place to watch a game on NFL Sunday too. Great pre movie meal spot.

There are many dining options in and around the Mayfair Town Center complex, and if you’re planning to see a movie at the Regal Mayfair 16, Brixx is a good choice. It’s right across the street from the theater and the pizza is quite tasty.
The smell of the wood fired oven is the first thing you’ll notice on entering the restaurant. This is a good sign. The friendly and helpful staff will seat you at one of the large booths and let you know the daily specials, which often include beer.
Good news for Unilocalers — on checking in you’ll unlock a 10% discount. It’s for food only, but comes in handy with a large group.
Can’t decide which pizza to have? Brixx will happily do a half and half pizza for you. Mix and match and share with your table mates — there are many flavorful choices. Some of the favorites at our table included the Americo (essentially pepperoni mushroom), the Greek, and the Chicken Florentine. You can opt for the traditional crust or go for the wheat. Both arrive table side nicely bubbled and charred from the wood fired oven.
The GF crust is decent. Unfortunately, the crust doesn’t get that lovely char from the wood fired grill, since it needs to be cooked on a pizza sheet to avoid cross-​contamination. However, the pizza toppings are quite delicious. I had the 4×4 — four cheeses and four meats. Paired with a GF O’Mission lager, it satisfied my pizza and beer craving quite nicely.

If you are a Dominoes, or Papa Johns kinda person, fine, do that till you get your mortarboard and scroll. But when you get your own wheels, and your own pad, and your own job with that degree, it is time to amp up your tastebuds to grown up.
The Brixx will do the trick.

The menu aspires to be creative and outside the box, but they need to hone their flavors with the right seasoning. We ordered the Jamaican jerk pizza and it was in dire need of hot sauce. The Thai pizza lacked any peanut flavor and is outdone by a California Pizza Kitchen Thai Chicken pizza. You have the right ingredients, now work on refining flavor.
The service was nice and bubbly but left plates on our table throughout the meal and had to be reminded several times.
All in all, this place has a lot of potential, but I hope cooking creativity is not reigned in because of the corporate infrastructure.
