When I moved to Wilmington 12 years ago, I asked my mother-in-law and my husband’s stepmother where they went to get their hair cut. They both highly recommended Fabrizio’s and I’ve been going their ever since. I’ve never been greeted by anything but warm, friendly smiles, from the receptionist(who is awesome!) to the stylists, to Fabrizio himself. I have always been very pleased with the haircuts and services I’ve received and have recommended this salon to many friends over the years. The décor is a very cool, rustic urban, with exposed brick and wood ceilings. Very warm and inviting. While some of the stylists and services can be pricey, there is always the option of going with a junior stylist to save money. I started getting my hair cut by a junior stylist there and loved her so much I’ve been going to her for about nine years now. A previous reviewer noted that she had a long wait. In the 12 years I’ve been going there, I honestly don’t think I’ve waited more than 5 minutes. It’s unfortunate that the reviewer had a negative experience, but I would have to say that it was an isolated incident and not par for the course.

Hi! I come here mainly for the waxing services. The décor is nice, someone else mentioned rustic but i prefer funky. Very cute. Front desk people are always super nice and accommodating! Like the reviewer before me, I don’t think i’ve ever had to wait more than 5 minutes until seen. I’ve gone to Tina and Vicky for waxing services, who are both super professional and make you feel really comfortable in what can be awkward positions/situations a lot of the time. I have sensitive skin, and the second i told either of them that was the case, out came the special wax. They are talkative and personable and great. The Brazilian will take a little longer, might have been in there about an hour, but it’s worth it — they do a great job. Thanks ladies! Edit: updating from 4 to 5 stars, not sure why it wasn’t like that before. Go to Tina for brows, she’s a sorceress!

I did my makeup here at Fabrizio. Cody was my makeup artist. He was super friendly and easy to talk to and he did an awesome job with my makeup. I got a lot of compliments on my makeup that day and it lasted the whole day. I went in at 8:30AM and my makeup still looked good that night. Only touch up I did was my lips. Great job! I will for sure go back!

Got a haircut here a few weeks ago and it was my first since moving from Philly and my «home» spot Sullimay’s. Very satisfied with the cut, but it would’ve been nice going in that I was going to be placed with a «semi-pro» stylist and therefore the cut was going to be a little on the pricier side. Ultimately though, this was my error. In the future I’ll plan ahead and book a time slot with a more junior stylist for a men’s cut. I think the prices start at 25 and go up to either 55 or 65 for guys.

I normally don’t bother writing reviews simply cause I don’t read them, but I hope this is useful to someone who’s thinking of choosing this hair salon. Take your business elsewhere!!! Worst stylist that I’ve ever had… from the«I’m forced to shake your hand» greeting, the cigarette smell, poor listening skills, «I really don’t want to be here» attitude, to the damp«blow dry» that’s worth 35 dollars… If that wasn’t enough the stylist did such a poor job at what I asked her to do, that was just easier to blame eeeeeeeverything else than just admitting from the very beginning that she’s was not up to the task. I really hope this salon trains their staff to do a better job on how to provide the services that customers are paying for. I just read in their«damage control» responses to negative experiences that they have a satisfaction guaranty policy… If that means to go back to that stylist… I rather just to stay away from that place! what a disappointment! I’m sad. I really wanted to have a great time and experience there. But I just feel like a fool minus $ 140 Stay away from this place. Such a disappointment

I had a Brazilian wax here recently and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience(at least as pleasant as a Brazilian wax could possibly be lol). Tina was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make me feel extra comfortable! I could not be happier with my experience!

I’m sorry to have to write not so great review here, since I’ve been VERY happy with other services at Fabizios. However, I had my first mani pedi here and prior to scheduling asked if the nail salon was clean/good and the receptionist assured it was and had won best of Delaware. The facilities were not exceptionally clean like expected and I was so disappointed in the job. The worst part was that my nail polish was streaky(parts you could almost see through) and it chipped/peeled off like nothing the next day. It did not look great and coworkers commented that I could have done a better job on myself. I was upset that for the reputation and price my manicure didn’t last a day and the pedicure less than a month. Update 4÷2÷15: I was contacted by Frabrizio’s manager after this review and was appreciative for her reaching out to me after my nail experience. She assured me that this is not usual for their nail salon and that they have many happy customers, which I believe. Unfortunately my first experience was not good, but you cannot find service like this that cares so much as to call after a disappointing experience. Thank you.

I have always been inconsistent with getting my hair cut and colored, because the experience has always been intimidating, with results I never quite asked for. Kerri and Fabrizio Salon changed all of that for me. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey. Kerri spent so much time with me, getting to know who I am, what I liked. Each time she sees me, she actually asks me what I liked and may not have liked with the last cut/color and tweaks it. Amazing results– I have never felt better, and religiously make my appointments as directed. So glad I found them!

Apparently the salon is great. I went for 4 hours of spa services and I wanted a SPA experience. This is 100% a salon… that has a «spa» upstairs. Don’t get me wrong, the girls were all great — very polite and approachable, and the prices weren’t terrible, but this just isn’t a spa. I may have slightly a skewed perspective because the other spas I’ve been to were a Gaylord in Orlando, on cruise ships and resorts, and in Europe, but this just wasn’t what I was looking for — in a robe all day, finger sandwiches and fruit abundant, steam room, etc. Like I said, it’s probably a great salon. I’m new to this area and I was just really hoping for a spa… I’m still hunting. Also, I should mention — parking STINKS! The spaces in the back were all taken, you get towed from the Acme parking lot, and the street signs all said 2 hour max. I was worried about my car the entire time I was there.

One of only a few men I know in Trolley Square that goes to a salon and Fabrizio makes it worth it. I’ve been getting my haircut monthly for over a year now by Bartolo. The young man does a fantastic job and its a pleasant experience chatting with him each cut. The front desk staff are also very personable and caring, making sure to provide courtesy calls and rebook you for the next month during your visit. Although I have experienced some delays due to a busy schedule for the salon, there is a good selection of reading material along with refreshments and snacks in the waiting area. They also are always staffed well enough that another stylist will happily shampoo you ahead of your cut to save you and their colleague some time. Other than my in salon experiences, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I’ve received more compliments on my hair since going to Fabrizio than ever before. Great place!

Absolutely love this place. I started coming here and saw Victoria who is FANTASTIC with my thick, coarse, curly Asian hair. Finding a hair stylist that you love is hard – find a stylist that can tame my beast of hair is even harder. I moved away and had a botched hair cut at a different salon and I came running back here and got fixed back up in no time. Not going anywhere anytime soon, this place is amazing – look no more! Victoria gave me a fantastic cut that moves and works well with my curly hair texture and looks good even after it has grown out. She is the one stylist I haver ever been comfortable completely handing the reigns over to and letting her«decide what to do with it» Go to her today for a fabulous haircut!

Women of Color… Fabrizios can DO our hair! Im a working professional who cant afford, to sit in a shop for 4 hours every week only to come with grease-fried hair. I heard about this great new stylist on staff at Fabrizios who can handle hair that’s straight, kinky, curly, and even mixed girly! She’s a professional with all hair types. I am 4a, 4b, &3c ish hair and never let anyone under 50 touch this head. Then I heard about the stylist and decided to try out the salon. I usually go with salons that cater to women of color, so this salon was never on my list until today! I was in and out on less than 2 hours for a press’n curl after taking my braids out. Needless to say my hair was a challenge. Wow! Hair came out looking better than I ever expected! This a professional salon, ladies so expect professional services at cost. Your hair will love you for it. So try Fabrizios and ask for MaryJane.

This salon is so beautiful. I have been for spa services and felt like a queen. Megan does the best job. She is so helpful with product selection as well. I went and did a microderm facial with megan before my wedding and I looked flawless the day of. Def need to go see her!!!

It seems like women all over the world are faced with the same issue… how to find a great hairstylist when you move to a new area. Thankfully for me it only took one shot! From our first meeting Carmen worked wonders for me and my sad, thin hair :) I was lucky enough to have a wonderful stylist in San Diego who got to know me and what I liked which made going in to see her pretty stress free. Now, after 3 cuts/colors or so with Carmen, I’m feeling pretty confident that she’s figured me out rather quickly! And she’s a joy to chat with! The only negative(which is not enough to even knock a star off) is that she is tough to schedule with if you are not extremely proactive. I had a last minute conflict and had to cancel an appt I made a month or more in advance and had to wait about 2 ½ weeks to get in… desperately need a cut and color now!!! But, hey, it’s the same way I feel about a crowded restaurant… it must be good if people are fighting to get in :)

I moved to the Wilmington area in 2006 for grad school, and it took many months(and several bad haircuts) to find a great salon that will give a stylish men’s haircut. I found Fabrizio’s and have never gone anywhere else since! I have seen Linda there for almost 7 years because she is THAT good. She is so sweet and caring, and she really knows her stuff. I have gone in not knowing what I want, but knowing I want something different. Linda asks me a few questions, then I walk out with a quality and stylish haircut. And if for some reason I am not happy(which has never happened), Linda always tells me I can come back free of charge and she will fix whatever I’m not happy with. The front desk staff is also great — the type of place where they know you and greet you by name when you come in the door. Rita is so friendly and helpful! I love this place and Linda so much that even when I moved to PA, I still make the trip to Fabrizio’s for my monthly haircut. I promise you, you won’t find a better salon in the area. Two tips: I don’t believe they let you charge tips to credit cards, so make sure you bring cash with you. There is an ATM in the salon, but it will charge you a fee. And regarding parking, there is a very small lot(4 spaces or so) behind the salon, so most likely you will need to park on the street. I rarely have trouble finding a close spot though.

Fabrizios is great! I’ve been going regularly for about 4 years. Rita and the receptionist team are so friendly and always greet me by name. The vibe is very laid back, but professional. I never get the hard sell on other products, which is something that has bothered me in other places. Kerri is amazing! She is friendly and always willing to offer consulting on the best options for my hair.

I had about $ 1000 worth of extensions put in my hair for my wedding. I didn’t want the hair so long but the stylist insisted because I was getting an updo so I paid the extra money for the longer extensions. I told her to layer the extensions and she said she did. She knew fullness was important to me and the reason I got the extensions in the first place. My wedding was out of town. The hair was very heavy and all the same length so it was VERY difficult to style. The stylist doing my updo told me that the extensions were WAY too long and way to high on my head and without any layers it was very difficult for her to updo my hair the way I wanted. After my wedding I went back to the stylist at Fabrizio and told her that the hair is too long and its not cut the way I wanted. She charged me an additional $ 70 for another haircut! I was all set to get extensions in my hair every 5 months or so with this stylist because my husband likes the long hair. …I will continue with the extensions but will be using a different salon. So instead of apologizing for not finishing my hair the way she should have and made sure I was happy, she pulled my hair with a vengence while she blow dried it then she charged me an additional $ 70 …(no tip of course)!! …I hope it was worth the $ 600-$ 800 every 5 months she will be losing! …what a bad business decision!

I was happy when I left but the minute I got home, my hair flopped down and looks terrible now. I can’t wait for the cut to grow out. I won’t return.

For my college graduation, my cousin gave me a gift certificate to Fabrizio and I took on a chance on stylist Amy Foster, who had previously been at C’est La Vie. I have never looked back and have sent a ton of my friends and family to Amy. Now known as «The Artist,» she has taken my hair from the lightest of blondes to my current dark hair. She has also supported all of my cutting whims, including bangs, layers and a dramatic bob. Sometimes, she will even remind me, «We tried that before and you did not like that» or «That requires a lot of blow-drying, you like to wear your hair curly.» Aside from Amy, the entire staff of Fabrizio is engaging and fun to be around. Rita at the front desk is awesome and I feel like I have known her forever. Even though I have lived in Baltimore and now live in Philly, I will never stray from Fabrizio.

I’ve been getting my «hurr did» here since i was in high school– more importantly, I’ve been going to Theresa Disabatino since I was about 5! I cannot say enough amazing things about this woman! She’s the type of stylist you go to without a clue as to what you want done to your hair, and you will leave her chair looking and feeling like a million bucks! Ok, ok… the salon is gorgeous. They just had a huge rennovation done and added a ton of space. The staff is proficient, professional and super nice. They offer all the typical services as any other upscale salon: hair, nails, massage, facials, bridal, etc. Also tons of great package deals for«a day of beauty»(i’ve been dying to try one forever! they sound amazing!) They’re a little bit pricey, but you really do pay for what you get. If ya wanna look like crap, go down the street for a $ 10 «super» cut or whatever. If you wanna look amazing, look no further. Ask for Tee. Tell her Lexi sent you. She’ll tell you some amazing hair horror stories about me from when i was a kid(and maybe not so much of a kid)…she’s got plenty to choose from
