Neat place

The place has a great atmosphere, but every time we go the service is awful! It takes twenty minutes to get a beer each time you walk in, even if it isn’t busy. We went today, and they had one bartender working for a packed event. It makes no sense. I wanted to close my tab out, and the bartender was at the end of the bar joking and laughing with a patron as we stood there for ten minutes waiting. I eventually had to go to the end of the bar to «interrupt» their conversation to get my tab. I’ve really tried to give this place a chance, but each time we go it’s a huge let down due to the service (they only serve wine and beer) therefore, it’s not due to the fact that they have to make elaborate cocktails.

Stopped in here one to check it out. What a great place. The selection of beer and wine was good and they also had an excellent variety on tap at the time. I had the Gouden Carolus Cuvée and the Nitro Oatmeal Stout. For drinking the Cuvée, you get to keep the glass. Good deal!
I haven’t been there during peak time, but I’m guessing the atmosphere is pretty good. I will definitely visit here again.

Nice ambiance, wide selection of beers and wines. Not crowded for a Saturday night. Decent service, Light old school music playing in the background and a mature crowd. Def a nice romantic date night spot for some drinks. Not over priced, would recommend buying a bottle over just a glass if planning to hang out and drink for awhile.

This is such an awesome little bar! Cute outdoor area and pleanty of seating with a great atmosphere! I wish you could bring dogs though!

I am kicking myself for not coming here earlier. Very industrial chic with a great bottle selection. Many beers on tap, and a wall of to go options. My only complaint is that they don’t have any Schwarzbiers (black lagers) but that’s okay, you can’t have it all.
They offer cheese and charterie (sp?) which I didn’t realize and is kind of nice.
They have a covered outside and a nice grassy area. It’s perfect for fall.

Wonderful atmosphere. Great week and weekend event line ups to appeal to all interests. Great beer selection and pricing!

I love that Palate is unabashedly staking its claim. Its sleek urban-​industrial design, high-​end artisan bitters, fire pits, and vinyl records collectively shouting: «Here I am, not just investing in the Brooklyn Arts District, but investing with flare.» And it’s true. While other venues along this strip of burgeoning business are also very cool, they are far more understated. Palate is a statement, and a statement I’m all about supporting.
This cool little venue could hold its own in any city in the world, and while I’m not saying everyone will love it (you can’t please 100% 100% and such), those who it pleases will be on pleasure Cloud 9. Take the selection of wines and rotating beers on tap. Then look at the vibe of the venue itself — it’s a place to see and be seen, but it’s also as casual as you want it to be. It could just be your corner wine shop for all they care. The community events are also great — turntable Tuesday, free tastings on winedown Wednesday — like I said, they are staking their claim on the community and I can only assume it’s for the betterment of both of them.

A must to check out. Tons of one off beer and wine selections. Incredible layout inside and out… great place to have a few drinks before or after dinner.

Great new bottleshop and bar in an upcoming area. Stopped in for a beer and ended up buying some bottles to go. Shane was bartending and was very efficient and helpful. You can order food from canapé next door (how convenient!)
Beer selection was great and included a lot of local options. They had about 10 – 12 rotating taps, and single bottle beer selection was very good as well. They also have wine options but no liquor.
