Ryan’s provided the wine for our wedding in August, and helped this clueless couple with a wine-​loving family pick out the perfect wines to complement our dinner menu and garner compliments from even the most elitist on our guest list. We gave them a couple of examples of pricier bottles we like, and John suggested a few similar ones at easier price points for us to sample before the big day. We’re not sorry at all that we had a few leftovers. Ryan’s knows their grapes and their customers and blends the two beautifully. A belated thank you for this crucial part of the reception!

A great small wine store, with knowledgeable and friendly people. They have a relatively small selection compared to lots of other places, but there’s a lot of stuff you can’t find elsewhere.
Right now they’re even offering 10% off if you have takeout from one of the Independence Mall restaurants. Sounds like a great night in.

My first experience with Ryan’s Wines was about a year ago, shortly after they had opened and a happy coincidence as a friend and I wandered over from Rasa Sayang next door.
I was immediately drawn by the inviting atmosphere and delicious samples, and at that point was hooked.
The staff is incredibly personable and helpful, and will always work with your budget and needs. Tastings are incredible and have a true community feel — something I can’t say for other wine stores in the area.
Thanks to continued great service, I’d have to say that my week is no longer complete without a visit to John Ryan. Great place!

Great selection. The sales guy was very helpful. They taste all wines before offering to customers. Goes without saying why their selection is so good. Got a hold of a malbec for $ 8. Was astounding for the price!

Wine down Wednesday has offically moved to Tuesday. I decided to cook. Made a pesto dish and decided to high tail it down to Ryans too see what goodies they had today (I had just been there last week to get that bottle of red for davios I just forgot to Unilocal)
super friendly staff as always and the gentleman was very helpful. He helped me pick out an inexpensive bottle of spaltese.
It was a such a great pairing. The bonus was I got the wine for a steal :)
It was cheap seats ! Saving those reciepts pays off!
I was also intrigued by the weekly wine tastings .

A new family owned wine shop to add to the selection of places to go for well priced wines in Delaware.
Weekly wine tastings make Fridays extra fun and educational. Actually, not just wines are opened for sampling. For you beer aficionados, ciders and ales are added to the mix. Super chill and cozy atmosphere.
The amazing deal for the month is buy 5 bottles and get the 6th for a dollar.
I have usually gone to Moore brothers in the past, but this may be my new go to place for delicious but affordable wines. My perfect hostess gift problem is solved just in time for the holidays.
