Been here twice in the past three months. Had the same woman both times. Second time I was hoping not to get her. When I went the second time I did not see her there so I assumed I was alright. I sat down and waited while the one hairdresser finished the only other person who was there. This was the middle of the day during the week so a very slow time. Out of nowhere the same woman who cut my hair the first time a couple months prior walks in off break with a coffee and asks me to come sit in the chair. I should have just walked away. The firs time I saw her she cut the length alright but it was kind of choppy in front and a bit longer on one side than the other. This second time those same issues were present and actually even worse, especially the choppiness. Also, she did the overall cut much too short this time when I specifically said take a LITTLE off. She ended up taking about half my length off. My haircut is now extremely butchered. It’s going to take probably 4 months to grow back to where I can actually do something with it. I am extremely pissed off. I will never go back to this place again. I guess I have to just pay more somewhere else.

I had a very strange experience at this Supercuts… I was in the area for work and just needed a trim. First of all, I waited about 35 minutes. At 1pm. On a Tuesday. Okay… When it was my turn I was greeted by my stylist and she had me sit in her chair. I mentioned that I would need a wash too which was met with«Oh…(Long pause) A wash…(Long pause) You know we charge extra for that right?» Trust me, I needed it so I just went along. She proceeded to wash my hair with the hottest water I have ever had the pleasure of feeling on my scalp. I mentioned that it was hot and she said«oh it’s only for a few minutes. It will cool down soon.» She continued to dig into my head with her nails as the water stayed hot as can be. Halfway through the wash she said«Did you want a dry too? Because that costs extra.» I was headed to work so I said yes. «Well we don’t have a round brush so we don’t round brush.» Um, alright? The good news? I don’t think she charged me for the wash or dry and my hair was cut straight. It was just a weird experience. Even if I am in the area again, I probably won’t be back.

Love coming to this location. Everyone is always so warm and friendly. I usually call ahead and when we walk in we never have to wait. Love the modern look of this location and how clean it is. As soon as my son is done with his hair cuts I always inspect his hair and I am never disappointed. This is our son’s third year receiving haircuts here and I believe he will be here for years to come.

Called the night before for an appointment. Was told I had to call the same day. Called the next day, rang over 10 times, no answer. So I «checked in» online for 10:30. Arrived and both stations(yes, there are only 2 staffers there on a busy Saturday morning) were occupied. Both serving a family(I have been places where one hair stylist will assist a family so the other is free to attend to new customers. SO, that took a while and by now it was 11:00. Then finally I was able to get eye contact with one of the stylists where I was told that I needed an appointment. FRUSTRATING. They made an excuse that the online system messes them up… rather than trying to come up with a solution on how to attend to the walk-ins and the people who have reservations. They need a system. They need staff. They need some lessons in customer service.

The team has done a great job on my two toddler boys and the price is a fraction of other local salons. We’ve been quite happy! Update: had a terrible experience at Supercuts on Main Ave in Norwalk. The Danbury Rd location is without a doubt their best location in the area!

I had already heard from friends here that the staff was horrible but I wanted to give them benefit of doubt. I checked my son in at the desk and waited 15 minutes. Another patron walked in and was taken immediately. I asked the girl at the desk why because we had been waiting. She didn’t even respond. I told them I was leaving… there were 3 hair cutters there… and not one of them apologized or asked us to stay. Unbelievable. Way to uphold your horrible reputation!
