Is this the cutest haircut ever? We put this on FB and everyone loves it - ‘adorable’ ‘Cool haircut’ - Philip really does the best haircuts. And he’s the nicest guy - gracious and talented.

Phil has been coloring and cutting my hair for years. I adore everything about him, his talent, and his beautiful salon! He is hands down one of the best colorists in our area. I constantly get compliments by strangers on my hair color. I feel so fortunate to have found someone that I can trust! Everyone else in the salon is friendly and nice. And the head massage is amazing!

Jaime is AWESOME!!! She is one talented artist, hairstylist and colorist. I have been going to her for about two years now and I have never ever been disappointed. In the past I went to one salon to cover my grays I have very long dark brown hair and that’s what I wanted dark brown walked out with black hair. I was so upset. Jaime always matches the color to my hair perfectly. I got some highlights UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL. I needed a change so she gave me bangs and they rock… Any time I need a trim she always fits me in. The keratin treatment was so fantastic and lasted so long. She truly cares about what she is doing and what a fantastic personality love our talks. I don’t know what I would do without her!!! I love the atmosphere in the salon from Phil, the receptionist and the girl who washes my hair (sorry forgot your name) Highly recommend Jaime!!!

Love this small intimate salon! Barbara always gives the best hair cuts and color she always makes me look and feel younger, She is amazing!!! I highly recommend this salon. Barb also known as The Sculptress” has never disappointed in all the years she has been doing my hair. She loves what she does and is always taking classes along with the other stylist and the owner Philip to make sure they are educated and up to date on the latest trends in the industry!!!

I used to commute to the city for cut and color. No more. Barb can cut and color like no other. Her cuts accentuate your facial features and grow out beautifully. Her color complements your skin tone and your vision. Barb is gifted — a rare trifecta — amazing personality, listens to what you want and guides you to what you need. Strangers stop me and ask who does my hair. And I send them all to Barb. No more bad hair days for those who have discovered her already.

I have been going to my «Sculptress» Barb several times now since mid-​last year and I know I won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon. Barb listens attentively on how I want my hair to be done, she gives advise and together we find the perfect solution or haircut. The time with Barb flies by as she is so much fun and the conversations with her are always entertaining. By the time I leave the salon, I look in the mirror and just love the way my hair is.

I wish I could remember my stylist’s name, I went here a few times a few years ago while visiting a friend (I moved out of Wilton in the 90s, but grew up here) the woman was a brunette and from Stamford, I hope she is still there-​I want to say her name was Stephanie. She did a great job on my hair which is thick and long (I am black) and was very personable. The four stars are for her. I can’t really say anything remarkable about the salon itself. Nothing memorable.

I’ve had the same NYC stylist for 20 years now (yes, touch of OCD), but in a desperate pinch gave them a chance. Tori spent the better part of 10 minutes to understand how best to deal with my cowlicks, waves, length, etc. The result was EXACTLY what I wanted, and better in some respects. Surroundings have the right balance — stylish but not pretentious, comfortable but not folksy. Tori is highly recommended.

I liked their service, my hair came out great the only thing is the ambiance is a little off for me, I don’t know why, and it was a tad expensive. I do love it though, and will be returning!

Philip does great highlights-​recommend him to all of my friends. He’s very fast (without sacrificing quality of work). Massaging chairs at the shampoo bowl are fab! Like that I can dry my own hair afterwards.

I always like to write my reviews after I have been somewhere more than once. I have had highlights here twice and encountered the same situation.
PROS:
Everyone at this salon is SO sweet and helpful (with the exception of the surly Asian girl at the front desk) I was offered tea and coffee every time I was here.
The massage chair is lovely as you get shampooed.
The salon itself is a beautiful space and very clean and well kept
the location is convenient with parking (I’m from NY, so this is a big deal)
ISSUES:
Although the first time I went, I liked the initial color, whatever formula they use seems to become extremely dull and brassy. (a definite no-​no for a blonde) The highlights themselves were done meticulously, so I doubt highly that it’s the stylists fault, but both times after I washed my hair, it looked like I hadn’t had anything done to my hair and within a week or so it looked like I needed to go back again. The color was dull and dark looking, and the roots seemed «dirty» looking no matter how often I washed my hair.
I didn’t have a cut here, so I don’t know what that’s like, but I think if you are a blonde (or want to be) you might try somewhere else.

I’m not sure if the bad service I received here was due to being short staffed, but it left something to be desired. My hairstylist and colorist was Jaimee who was nice but inattentive. She put color in my hair and left me without a warning on how long it would take to set and went and cut someone else’s hair while i sat wondering if she forgot about me! Then the hair washer burnt my head with scalding hot water and scratched my ears repeatedly with her dagger nails. My hair color looked copper even though I asked to take the warm tones out of my blonde hair. Which I wouldn’t have asked to be redone if I knew a red tinted light was shining right above my head. What the heck?! The service would have been great if they didn’t leave me in my chair waiting frequently without any warnings. I don’t think I’ll be going back here again, unfortunately.

Got a haircut there last min. Men’s haircut was reasonable and very helpful when asking about how i liked my hair and whatnot. The hairwash chairs are the most comfortable and the chairs massage while they rub and wash your head.

All I can say is I get more compliments on my hair cuts than I can count and it grows in wonderfully. (I have a short bob style that Susanna does for me). Everyone is very nice and welcoming.

HORRID!!! I went in to get highlights and caramel lowlights with Susana. I have pretty thick hair but somehow she was done within 30 min. My hair was dark dark grey with some heavy and chunky blind highlights on top only. When I gagged she said she could fix it but personally wouldnt change a thing! After clarifying shampoo and 3 hours, I went home and my husband asked if it was a joke. He thought I was doing a practical joke. I cried in the bathroom.
Went back to fix it with the owner who said he’d do baby blond highlights and tone down the grey. After dropping bleach on my shirt and thus ruining it, I ended up with grey hair and dark brown (!!!) lowlights. I was shocked, it literally matched my shirt. When I said, I thought we were doing baby blond highlights, he looked at the hair and said — its a good color though.
I am wearing my hair up these days, its less hideous. I have to wait at least 2 weeks before I can do anything about it. Everyone still asks why did I change my hair. With thanksgiving and christmas parties, I am just miserable. If I had used box color and done it myself, I would have been happier. Conditioning and restoring my hair is going to take lot of time and money. DO NOT GO!!!

A great atmosphere for sure! Hey i should be using this line for a restaurant, but seriously, you walk in this trendy place and feel a little out of place. Atleast I did. It is very cool, modern décor, with seats that massage you. The girl who washed my hair, gave me a great head massage as well, which almost put me to Sleep. My Hairdresser was called Jaimee. She was pleasant, and was very detailed oriented. I tipped both the hairdresser and the hair washer girl well for going the extra mile, and would go back again.
