I have been a loyal customer of capri for the last 3 years and I can say I am all done with the chances. The last time I ordered the steak tip salad tasted rancid. I was actually afraid I was going to suffer from food poisoning from the one bite I took. I got the grilled chicken salad the next visit because I was too afraid the chicken afraid to order the steak. The chicken was rubbery and inedible. The last two times I ordered pizza for parties the order was incomplete or inaccurate and billed incorrectly. The most recent visit the food was lousy and the service was horrendous. I think that since they have moved to their new location they have forgotten what made them successful which was good quality and good service… both of which they are failing miserably at now.

The pizza was okay, but the service was awful! This was our first trip the restaurant. We walked in and expected to be greeted because there was a hostess behind the cash register. Instead of acknowledging us, she walked into the dining and sat down to chat with a friend. We stood there looking for some guidance and we finally sat ourselves. Still nobody greeted us. I finally walked back to the counter once a person appeared and placed the order. It took a long time to get the pizza and it was just okay. I’ll probably go back and give it a second try. Hopefully it was just an off night.
Update: we’ve been back twice and the pizza is okay. We learned to place our order and then sit down. I’m still confused as to what makes it upscale. Paper plates and drinks out of bottles is not «upscale.»

Best pizza around. Stopped in today and ordered a large pizza and salad. Pizza was perfectly cooked, not under or over, just right. The salad was fresh and well made. Their new location is very nice. In fact the dining room was so inviting we decided to stay there and eat? We will definitely return. Good job Capri!

we used to frequent them but now that they have turned «upscale» we don’t. Don’t feel their food it worth their new prices and the parking is ridiculous. I had to walk all the way from around the back of a building with a child for over priced food. I even mentioned to them about getting parking for takeout and they said they don’t own the lot so they can’t. Don’t plan on returning any time soon.

Tried the Deluxe Chicken Salad tonight and LOVED the Italian flavored chicken. Generous portion of chicken but container and amount of salad a bit small compared to similar salads at other area restaurants for the price.

Walked in to order at 630 PM on a Sunday evening. Attempted to call before but after 10 minutes of trying I figured they were having phone issues so a drove to the restaurant. When I arrived I noticed that they had all three phones off the hook and only a few people waiting… Not sure why they don’t want any one to place a phone order for pick up kinda strange. I also ordered the pizza well done… It was not.

They’ve been in business for 25 years, so they do something right. It’s never been anything fancy, but they make good pizza minus the disgusting grease that you need to blot off and that makes the cheese attempt escape from gripping the crust. With subs, salads and dinner plates at affordable prices in addition to their pizzas, the reason this place has been around so long is no secret to those in the area who frequent it.

I am from Brooklyn ny. The pizza was good! I also had a salad with tuna. That was very good too. The people were nice. They were accommodating of my daughter’s milk allergy. The place was not the best, but they’re moving.

In my opinion they has the best pizza and calzones in town the only problem is I am a little worried when they try to make the move to upscale where is the restaurant to sit down at with a bar. I need the bar idea is cool but I don’t know about the fancy seating. That’s a risky move for a good pizza place.

A couple days ago I went to Capri pizza on my lunch break I ordered a veal parm sandwich. The veal parm had to be the most vile sub I have ever ate and I only took 2 bites of the sub. The sub actually had little chunks of meatball and it I don’t know how meatball got into the parm sub but the meatball tasted like cat food and really set me off for the rest of the sandwich. The sub must have been one of the most vile tasting sandwich I have ever ate. I never write reviews on Unilocal but I was so angry that I felt compelled it’s a shame

We’ve lived in the area for almost 8 years and have tried most of the local pizza places. This one has the best pizza in the area by far. Their prices are higher, but keep in mind their pizzas are bigger than others at 18″. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend the Californian pizza!

Their meatball pizza is pretty good and the crust tastes like pizza dough, which isn’t something I can always find. I did not have it delivered, so I cannot comment on that.

I’m writing this review as I sit and wait for our delivery order. I placed an order for 5 subs and 2 small pizzas 1 hour 25 minutes ago, and I am still waiting on the items to be delivered. I usually give places the benefit of the doubt; however, this is not the first time we had to experience ridiculously long delivery times.
While the food is great. I find this place to have outrageous prices, and on top of the delivery times, it doesn’t balance out. I usually root for this place because of the quality of food when compared to other local places, but I am afraid I am now outnumbered because our hungry stomach’s are getting tired of waiting so long.

Way too expensive! There must be gold in the pizza for the prices they charge… they benefit from a lack of local options. The food is not very good either… make the trip to Charlie’s in Pelham, cheaper and better.

I just moved to windham and figured we would try it. The chicken finger sub was kinda gross. Not greasy gross… just the breading tasted weird. My husband had the pizza, it was okay… decent. Good for a quick bite, but not someplace that you crave.

Pizza was just okay. Delivery took 45 minutes and the food was not hot.
The kid’s meals are a joke @ $ 5.00, just 3 fried cheese sticks and a handful of soggy french fries. Boo!
I don’t believe that we will be returning or calling Capri’s again.
