I don’t know if I just got punked today or what. I came in around 3:30 for a to-go order of the Buddha and a tempeh sandwich. I spent almost $ 25 on the most horrible, flavorless pile of uninspired veggies I’ve ever tasted. In fact, I’ve spent less and enjoyed more at a supermarket salad bar. I ordered the Buddha because it was billed as a salad. I have provided photographic evidence of what I came home with, untouched(the only thing I did here was smother it in watered down tahini aka whatever they’re trying to pass off as «dressing»). As you will notice, there is literally one tiny leaflet of kale. My boyfriend’s quinoa based«side salad» had more salad than my $ 10 salad. His tempeh sandwich was pretty good and so was the side salad but the sandwich in general was lackluster and bland. I imagine the high price tag comes along with an organic menu. I guess the air we breathed while we waited for a 1 leaf salad must’ve been organic too.

NOJ is a newbie on the veg scene. NOJ’s juices all are blends and are squeezed fresh in the morning, so if you arrive past 1pm you can choose only what remains in the fridge. Most of the juice blends are heavy on fruits and light on vegetables, and no wheatgrass juice. So the juice orientation is more on soft core sweetness than on hardcore nutrition. Its ovo-vegetarianism harks back to the wayward 20th century, as the burgers are made with chicken eggs. I hardly know of any newly opened restaurant calling itself vegetarian that serves chicken eggs these days. Its ovo-ism actually is a good thing, else this café not survive in Willimantic, a burgers and pizza town. And vegans still have enough to choose from among the juices, smoothies, salads, and desserts. I recommend this café to you, regardless of the degree of your vegetarianism. Plan on eating here before shopping at the stellar Willimantic Food Coop just three blocks away, and then you will have three reasons for coming to Willimantic. The third reason? To stand in awe also three blocks away of the Disneyesque four frogs of the Frog Bridge.

Fantastic, healthy fare in the heart of Willimantic! The food is fresh and tasty and is something you really can’t get around here. The sweet potato burger is amazing and so are the salads. They have kinda strange hours and I wish they stayed open later

Feeds the belly, feeds the soul. I’ve loved the juices, avocado toast, and sandwiches I’ve had here so far. Complex, hearty flavors that don’t rely on excessive salt. Fresh, healthy ingredients. Can’t wait to try more items off the menu. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely not overpriced. Atmosphere is gorgeously rustic yet hip, friendly and relaxing.

Everyone needs to know about Not Only Juice because it is the best place for delicious and healthy food!!! Everything is so fresh and you can’t go wrong with any order, but we recommend the smoothie bowl or avocado toast. All of the workers are really nice too and the ambience is perfect!!!

My mom and I loved everything about this place. I was nervous bringing her here because she is more of an chain restaurant kind of person but i am a vegetarian and its hard to find healthy and delicious options when we go out. This place delivered. I had been dying to get back since my visit 2 months ago. However I work 9 – 5 Monday-Friday and saturdays I kayak all over the place so I am never around. I dont know when I will have the opportunity to go back but i cant wait. everything was SO amazing and delicious. I crave it. you know a place is good if after two months your mouth wants it and doesnt forget it. Please stay open later so I can make it there more often!

Had a great, unique breakfast here! Love the eclectic mix of Main Street Wlimantic and modern juice/gluten free environment and menu. Had the matcha do smoothie and the cherve, heirloom tomato, and roasted shitaka mushroom toast. Food, juoce, smoothie and toast were awesome! I’ll definitely return to try more!
