I had an early flight out of Bradley International, gate a24. The dunkin donuts that is directly across from the gate, has one of the rudest employees I have ever seen. The stand didn’t open until 5am, and that’s fine… however people started forming lines about 20 minutes prior. My concern isn’t with the opening time, it’s with the shorter Hispanic manager or employee that was barking orders to the other employees and telling customers«we aren’t open» in a very rude tone. She had partially blonde hair and wore it up in a bun. She was either having a bad morning, or needs to take some training classes on how to properly speak the people. I feel sorry for her co workers or employees. It really gave many people the wrong impression of your food.

I usually go to Starbucks for coffee but my wife likes DD. There seamed to be plenty of DD in Connecticut and when you want HOT coffee it works.

Quick and standard dunkin donuts. The only thing I always warn people to do is to check there order before they leave. I don’t know how many times I have recieved a wrong order. Quality is standard for this coffee/breakfest chain.

Dunkin Donuts. So its like going to Kroger, picking up the day old donut section, and then eating them. All the while pretending these donuts taste good and dunkin stands for something. Seriously — these are god awful donuts, not that CT residents know better. Some time ago the plague that is Dunkin’ whipped out any taste of good donuts. So in this barren landscape lacking of tolerable donuts you have Dunkin. Hungry for donuts and thinking it has to be better than safeway, people come here. THey lie to themselves over and over The only reason to go to dunkin is 1) you have an early flight 2) you need coffee Wait until your flight lands at almost any location West of 95(West of NY City) and then get a donut. Anywhere. Hell safeway has to be better than this factory made in NJ, Frozen, and shipped crap they serve here.

This place sells coffee — it’s fresh and it’s hot unless you like it iced. The staff here had always performed well and they have always been extremely friendly. They can get a little busy so allow yourself time it’s very important that you get you coffee so you don’t freak out. I don’t typically eat at DD — if I want a donut I want it fresh and hot that can’t happen here or any DD I know of they are carted in from an outside source(shhhhh that could be a trade secret they don’t advertise) Refer to the first line of this review this is the reason to come here I also heard America Runs on Dunkin

For the busy morning traveler they definitely need more staff. Got to kiosk at 4:50 am and 22 people ahead of me with 2 people manning the kiosk and one has a trainee badge on so hard for the poor guy orienting him. Probably guaranteed to get a long line. After 10 minutes there were 16 people behind me. Coffee lukewarm and got order wrong but was good when finally received. Have to give some slack when they are so busy. Just happy to get my coffee and bagel before flight. Total wait time from getting in line until hit my order was 17 minutes. I have waited longer in high end restaurants so cannot complain. You want Dunkin then at this airport you may have to wait.

A-OK, but not much more. Suspecting I didn’t get the iced caramel latte I ordered since I can’t detect a lick of caramel. Ground coffee is $ 8.99 for the bag(seasinal pumpkin flavor is smaller and $ 5.99) so I picked one up for the office. It’ll be a Dunkin’ Monday tomorrow!

My favorite Dunkin Donuts from this trip east. First of all, it is open 24⁄7 so I could get my first fix at arrival in Hartford after midnight. Not the freshest time of day, but still quite edible with a decent selection. But show up at 6 or 7 in the morning and they are really rolling. Our favorite flavors are all in the case, incredibly fresh. Efficient, friendly and professional service, lots of customers, a jam packed drive thru, plenty of parking(though we could just pop through the fence next to our airport hotel) and a clean store. We love traditional powdered sugar coated, filled donuts and the DD size and balance of dough to filling seems just right to us. Lemon, jelly, and bavarian cream filled are tops. It’s what we grew up with, so it must be a comfort reflex that humongous«gourmet» donuts do not fulfill. It’s probably a good thing on several levels that we can’t get them every day. But in an ideal world, I wish we could.

Guilty pleasure? Childhood memories? I have long since matured past donuts and Coolattas, but whenever I find my way back in the homeland, that being the East Coast, I can’t help but get an Iced Dunkin’. Living in San Francisco, I’m spoiled beyond belief with otherworldly coffee, but never too good for an iced coffee from DD. Of course, BOTHDD in the airport were OUT of iced coffee on this last trip through BDL. WHAAAAT? Can you make more? I don’t get it. Want an iced drink? They were willing to make me an iced latte, but we are now talking apples and oranges. Latte & Dunkin’ don’t go together no matter how their marketing team pushes it. An airport latte of all things is gonna cost you a five spot and you know it’s not worth it. Unlike. Damn you New England heatwave.

Typical airport dunkin. They don’t always have everything on the menu and the drinks are ok. Prices are definitely higher but that’s to be expected in an airport. Service was friendly.

It’s an airport Dunky D’s. What do you expect? At least they could have gotten my iced tea order correct, right? Nope. Sigh.

You come for DD’s when you’re on the go, so being at BDL … a few tens of minutes away from boarding qualifies as on the go. If you’ve been to Winchell’s or Yum Yum doughnuts, then you can skip DD’s as you’ve already tasted DD’s doughnuts through these other two stores. Got a chocolate sprinkled doughnut … the thing that I’m currently(unfortunately) hooked on and my husband got a crueller. I took one bite of the crueller and handed it back — didn’t have a taste but it probably has to do with it being a plain ANDDD’s doesn’t use shortening. That’s how they get the 0% trans fat. The chocolate doughnut was alright… nothing particularly great except that it was not greasy at all. I preferred Tim Hourton’s, but hey since we rarely see DD here… worth having a stop by.

It’s a DD. same as all the rest except this one is in Bradley International Airport. I was bummed to see Einstein Bagels leave this location and for DD to move in. DD bagels are OK I guess, but just like every other dunkin when you ask for it toasted it comes out barely warm and the butter they put on it doesn’t even get warm enough to melt. The staff was pretty quick to service the long line and the coffee etc was up to par with DD you would find out in the real world. In a pinch, DDs always does just fine.
