I am shocked to read those old reviews of this management company… I have dealt with them for 6 years now and find no fault with their service. I love Val and her employees. I have always heard back from them regarding any issues and usually get a follow up call to make sure things went okay. Worth all the HOA dues I have paid. Val personally attends all the homeowner meetings and is extremely well-​informed on all matters. She is very courteous and professional even when the meetings get heated between homeowners. I would recommend her company.

I must agree with other poor reviews. This company provides very little in terms of customer service. They do not communicate well with members of the HOA’s they work for. In fact, Vallen Cooper, the owner, is rude and dismissive of concerns brought to the company. If you complain about her or her company, she will personally make your life miserable. She uses her position as a stick to punish you if you complain. There are some friendly and helpful employees, but they don’t stay long, there is frequent turnover. Another indication of poor management skills. If you or you’re HOA is looking for a property management company, stay away from this one.

I have to agree with the reviews posted. Commonwealth does not communicate and they do not respond to phone calls or emails. Why do I pay dues? I like the concept of a professional management company. Sounds like this company has a honey hole. Sweet deal for them.

So over it.
So, my HOA is a member of this group and I have been trying for two weeks to get a hold of them. My husband and I have called 3 times during business hours and have even GONE OVER TO THEM during businesses hours. No return calls and NO ONE THERE.
I don’t know how these guys stay in business.

Been a homeowner for a few years now in a condo. The staff is excellent and nice but they do very little. Ive called police many times over very disrespectful tenants above me and despite endless complaints from myself and two other renters I’ve had they wont take action or lift a finger. Lazy staff that refuses to contact landlords and take action, going to have to sue owners directly unfortunately. Good people though so i will give 2 stars.

Wow, it’s amazing how reviews can be so different. This management company
is one of the best I have experienced, this being the 8th I have been associated
with. In every HOA I have volunteered in, this company is a stand out for quick response time and pleasant exchange of ideas and issues. Kudos to Cara
for her patience and time given the many problems that came up over a two year period. She was a breath of fresh air for an otherwise hostile HOA that would not respect its’ homeowners. The office is filled with professionals.

Wow, what a joke. They are open from nine to five, but an answering machine will pick up if you call between twelve and one. I guess «boutique» firm means «our office of three closes for lunch, you are on your own.»
I called several times with a very important problem and always got voice mail. The two times that I didn’t I got the feeling that I was talking to somebodies daughter or a high school intern. They just don’t know how to handle anything other than dodging your calls and avoiding the question. When (if) you do get a response it will be an email because they don’t want to talk to you like an adult.
Avoid this company.
