Amazing… got the special chicken ranch bacon sandwich with fruit. It sounded so good but, I was concerned the chicken would just be some frozen cardboard. I was delighted when I asked the waitress and she assured me it was a fresh cooked not frozen chicken breast. It was yum yum yum. And their«homemade» ranch yeah I wanted to lick the bowl.

If you’re looking for typical diner food that’s not crazy greasy, this is a great spot. Easy, central location, attentive staff, fast service and turnaround time, kept my coffee full, and my kid was happy, too. I had the California skillet, which was quite good. We’ll be back!

Southern skillet was yum yum. My fiancées Benedict was okay he said. Plain coffee, wish they had mochas. Nice staff.

THE place to do breakfast in these parts. We had a large group at a peak time near a holiday, no problem. The staff was very friendly, the food super tasty, and we liked the comfortable atmosphere. Service was smooth for how busy they were.

Best breakfast chef around. The waitstaff are pretty damn awesome, too. Wouldn’t consider breakfast in this area anywhere else. Once you try it, I think you’ll fully agree. Open for breakfast and lunch.

Cute little diner with nice staff and good coffee. The food was simple but tasted great and was hot and fresh and plated nicely. I had the corned beef hash and it was good. Not 5 stars just because it’s a little strip mall diner, but it exceeded our expectations for sure.

Leaving Windsor after an awesome birthday weekend and stopped here for breakfast. The breakfasts were amazing. Fresh veggies and the food was hot and served very quickly. Very friendly staff. Perfect end to the weekend.

This is the quintessential little diner — no bells and whistles, but exactly what you’d expect. Everything was tasty, and the server was friendly. This place was very reasonably priced, especially for the area!

Average server who seemed bored and eager to take our order as quick as possible and leave. Everything was, well, generic breakfast food. I guess I expected a lot more from the skillets because, you know, the name. Nope, basically just a smaller, local-er Denny’s. Portions were fairly small too.

Perfect ending to our week. Small, mostly locals it seems. I ordered the French toast plate, which was good… But I must say I had«skillet envy». The other three at my table all ordered skillets and those were great as well. Probably the cheapest breakfast we’ve had here on out visit. The ladies at the restaurant were very courteous as well. Great start to our day!

This was actually our second choice for breakfast this morning; we originally were to go to the Parish Café in Healdsburg, but that didn’t happen for reasons you can read on my review for them. But it was a good thing in disguise, because Skillets is awesome! When we first walked in the door, we were greeted with a smile and sat down with water and coffee within the first minute. The server was very kind and answered our questions knowledgeably. I stuck with fruit and toast, and my girlfriend had the Cinnamon French Toast plate. They were brought out our fresh food within a couple minutes and it was very tasty. The French Toast was especially done well; it wasn’t too heavy but was still very flavorful. The food was great, but the service is what really sold me. I hope to be coming here more regularly. Thank you, Skillets, for making our morning awesome!

I must say cooks and the food are fantastic. I had the Florentine eggs Benedict my hubby had the California omelette The cooks seem to take pride in their food which is great and they were cooked perfectly,. The only reason why I’m giving this place a 3 star is The waitress(Tammy)was not very friendly and had a scoundrel look on her face the whole time. Im sorry to say we will not be coming back just for that fact we do not like bad service. And it’s sad because we really enjoyed the food. She needs to take lessons on how to be a waitress with a smile on her face & a better attitude!

While growing up in Windsor, we used to go to Stars all the time. After it closed, there wasn’t really anywhere to go. Sure, there are a couple of other big name breakfast spots in town, but they’re a little pricier and just seem so… Flashy. My husband and I finally tried this place and we’re glad we did. It’s just good diner comfort-food in a relaxed, non-gimmicky environment. It’s perfect for Saturday mornings. Prices are reasonable and food is good :)

This could not be a better establishment! Warm, loving, and feels like family! Jamie is a beautiful person inside and out! Fabulous service even better food! The Irish skillet is to die for and I love that they don’t burn their coffee like another place close by(cough cough) great for family or even by yourself. You can sit outside if the weather is nice, or inside and enjoy the hometown atmosphere. Always sporting their Giants pride, this hometown heartthrob is not to be missed!

Damn good BLAT sandwich. Thick bacon slices, generous amount of iceberg lettuce for a satisfying crunch and ripe avocado for the creaminess made a tasty and satisfying lunch. Paired it with a salad which was fresh lettuce, tomato and cucumber but it didn’t knock my socks off. Honestly, I had low expectations for it, but it was a nice looking salad! Service was quick, efficient and friendly enabling me to get in and out in 30 minutes which was great so I could get back to work.

My wife and I recently moved to Windsor and we found this location and decided to give it a try. The first thing that we noticed was how friendly the employees are, they go out of their way to make you feel at home. We have been back there several times and they always remember and call us by our first names. I can’t speak highly enough about the staff. The food is great, we have tried the breakfast and lunch and have been pleased and satisfied with the preparation, presentation and taste. Do yourself a favor and visit this wonderful establishment and get a feel for the type of hospitality and food you should expect any time you go out to eat.
