We went to this Subway during the lunch rush. They manage to get people through pretty quickly. However the bread is almost always either stale or close to stale at this location. I personally find the price a bit high.

According to one website I just looked at, the good folks at Subway have a mind-blowing 323 locations scattered throughout every corner of the Nutmeg State. Even in Windsor, CT — not exactly a fast food mecca, there are three Subway franchises. Today I had lunch at Subway 7320, located in the Price Chopper– Buffalo Wild Wings plaza on Poquonock Street. I walked in just a few minutes before 2:00 and ordered after a 6″ Subway Club after just a one person wait. The order was taken quickly and efficiently. My food preparer was pleasant, and the cashier was super pleasant. The Sandwich(sliced turkey, lean roast beef and ham) was fine– fresh bread, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cukes, onions and jalapenos. No complaints there. All Subways are not the same. Some are horrendous. But this one was exactly what I was hoping for — a pleasant place with a nice staff, fast service, and Subway quality food. They delivered on every count. A good sandwich, a bag of BBQ Baked Chips, and a drink for $ 7.60.

Came in for a quick lunch, as I couldn’t get the ‘five-dollar-foot-long’ mantra out of my head this week. This location is almost always busy around lunch, being one of the few fast food places in the area next to a large corporate presence, so plan accordingly. Large orders can be called in ahead of time, which is handy. I came in to get my usual Italian BMT, and on a whim, splurged on the double meat. The sandwich came out looking like it does in the commercial, and was very tasty. They never balk if you ask for ‘extra’ this, or ‘extra’ that, and checkout if quick and friendly. Pro-tip: Always get the ‘real’ meat sandwiches. The lower end subs are all turkey based bologna and turkey ham.
