Don’t go here. hot wine and shabby décor. We were walking through Windsor and decided to go in. Admittedly it was a hot afternoon. There is no at conditioning so we were sweating through our tasting. Unfortunately the wines were so hot there was no way to really taste them. Even the tasting room attendant said the wines did not taste well based on the temp. After having to pour every tasting out we were charged $ 19 for a $ 15 tasting. SO DiSAPPOINTING!

Came here with a friend yesterday and we spent 3 hours here tasting wine and having a good time! The person who served us(Ethan) was very fun and knowledgable, so we learned a lot about wine tasting. We also met one of the owners, Clay Fritz, and he is a super nice guy and a wonderful person. You can tell he really cares about this business and enjoys meeting people. My favorite part about this place is that they have a huge variety of different wines from different wineries, so you don’t have to go winery hopping to find something you’ll love. The flights were between $ 10 — $ 16 and you got 3 – 4 different wines depending on which flight you chose. I opted for the white flight($ 10) and was not disappointed, my friend had the red flight($ 12 I think) and really enjoyed hers. We both ended up buying a bottle of the Prosecco — that was our favorite! Looking forward to coming back and tasting the dessert wines and the pinot flight! As a local, I’ve seen a lot of places come and go on the Town Green, but I’m sure this one will stay! Great concept, great wines, and great people. I’ll be back! PS. There is a beer tasting room right next door so a fun idea for couples would be to bring your girlfriends wine tasting and the guys can chill at the beer tasting room next door!

A must visit. The peeps who work here are such fun. They’ll pour you some wine and give you some great advice about places to visit in the area. It’s a sweet tasting room in Windsor and I would recommend it to anyone who’s in town. If you come here first, they’ll help set the great mood for your wine tasting experience in Sonoma County.

Related and similar to the next door’s Old Redwood Brewing Company, Windsor Tasting Lounge is an relaxed and inviting alternative to the large winery tasting rooms. Showcasing an array of family-owned winery selections, this lounge presents itself as approachable, and down to earth. I loved the idea that some of the wines are actually bonded on site, specifically some of their reds from their DomWhitney label. Also available on site are wines from Vino Valpredo, Foppoli Winery, Christopher Creek, and Benevolo Winery. The owners are real people, and work hard to make your experience here enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the patio seating outside, and think that this location is going to be awesome once the Windsor Town Green events pick back up in the summer. I also noticed a long table behind some of the barrels in the tasting room, and I hope that eventually this will be a site for some wine paring or community wine education events. I wasn’t able to try all the wine offerings here, but I will be back.

While still in its infancy, this place is definitely worth checking out. If you demand your tasting rooms have marble flooring and Waterford chandeliers, it’s not your place. If you desire a chill environment with an awesome array of wines and friendly service, click the little x in the upper right hand corner of your screen and hit the road. Can’t wait to enjoy the patio during Thursday nights on the green!
