Biederman’s Bistro & Catering

Stopped in for a late breakfast while visiting Winfield and opted for the full stack of sweet potato pancakes. They were delicious! The only problem is that now I need to run a marathon in order to work off the calories! The service was good and the prices were reasonable. This place has a pleasant small-​town feel.

I ordered the blueberry pancakes and the hubs ordered the stuffed French Toast. We were seated immediately and our waitress was friendly. The only downside is that we waited for quite a while for our food to come out (and they weren’t busy).

I’ll definitely be back to this place! I ate a late lunch here but started off with coffee that was absolutely delicious and not just water. My server was very attentive and very friendly I was studying for a test and she told me to just let her know when I was ready to order since I told her I was going to be a little while. I ordered the club sandwich which came with one side, I chose the Pasta, which is what she recommended and it was absolutely delicious! The only reason they get four stars cause I feel there a little overpriced… my sandwich was almost 8 dollars and only came with one side and it did not include a drink. Second, you only get one free refill with any drink you order and after that get chargers we more… so for me that’s a little over kill. However they have a great selection on food and they have a full bar which is always awesome as well! :)

Good food and good service. The only problems I have is the prices are pretty high for my college budget and it cost more to get fries with a sandwich instead of the chips.

Get the wings! Seriously good. I got the pepper jack cheese burger on special, which was just ok, but grandma got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes which was off the hook. Our server (Mariana?) was very sweet and patient, as well as attentive and got everything we asked for. I would come back again if ever in town.

Service was a little slow but food came out hot and fast. I enjoined the country fried steak and it was a real value under 10.00 with drink. We will go back when we have more time because the pie looks awesome! Be sure to check in and you will get a free drink! This business did not have to offer a check in coupon so I will add a star just for that…

Breakfast order: blueberry pancakes, crispy bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits. The good news: bacon was crispy and good; the pancake syrup was heated; pancakes were hot and excellent service. The bad news: coffee was weak; the sausage gravy was not hot; pancakes and biscuits were average. Not a bad experience, but nothing to bring us back — for breakfast anyway. Really, the main drawback was the coffee. If you’re putting out a breakfast, you absolutely must be able to make a drinkable cup of coffee.
